I’m from Greece living in Adelaide Sth Australia and I pull my hair out when I taste watery tzatziki. I’m so disappointed that I’m even thinking of opening my own cafe and offer real Greek food.🤓 Friends have eaten my food and they say it’s the best Greek food ever. Even my mum admits I make the best tzatziki. Tzatziki is made with Greek yogurt ALWAYS, strained overnight. Cucumber is strained as well because moisture is then added with olive oil and vinegar and then your tastebuds go nuts with excitement. I always make my toasted sandwiches with feta and in summer I love eating it with watermelon! Oh so mouth-wateringly delicious!
Niki D live to far away (New Brunswick, Canada) Love Greek food but like you can’t find a decent restaurant. Your tzatziki recipe would be appreciated greatly. Or bribe with a place to stay in Canada? 😉
I have followed you for quite a few years. And have enjoyed all your books and videos. Would love to see the children again I’m sure they have grown. Thank you for an incredible journey. We are looking forward to cooking with this incredible book!
A daily “cook up” (especially from the new book)- YES PLEASE!!! ❤️from Australia!! I can’t wait for u to be back-hopefully it involves us getting a chance of seeing u in action!!! So AWESOME u love it so much here! Maybe u will end up chasing the sun-not too long before it’s spring/summer here...I can’t wait!!
I like to make my own yogurt. I heat 1 quart organic milk to 195ish, I add dried organic heavy cream 2 rounded tbs and 1 tsp honey.. Keep in yogurt maker 9 hours overnight, let it cool in the maker. I will do the rest as you do it on this video sounds yummmm!
You finally made it. You had never been to Thessaloniki. I hope you liked it. However, you should visit it in winter and give special emphasis to a "dish" loved by the locals and not only. Only in Northern Greece they make tripe like this and it is very tasty. A connoisseur like yourself should definitely visit the restaurants 1. KOUKLOUTZAS - PATSAS - SOUP - FOOD - THESSALONIKI) in the Evosmos area of Thessaloniki, 2. Tsarouchas Restaurant (Olympou 78, Thessaloniki 546 31), 3. Patsàs 92 (25is Martiou 92, Thessaloniki 542 48), 4. Pantermos (Grigoriou Koloniari 75, Ampelokipi 561 23). I leave this comment here.... may be you will read it someday...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I missed your livestream Jamie. Thanks for uploading the video so I can watch now. Cheers! ~Deb - Brisbane, Australia.
I make my own yoghurt and I do double strain to get a very thick result without any need to add sweeteners and gelatin so it should work with the cucumber sauce. I like your sandwich recipe a lot. I just have to use cheeses that are aged. You know what? Supposedly, one of my great grandfather was Greek!!
The Greeks in the comments section just might have to get over themselves. It’s Greek inspired. Not traditional Greek. If he wants to put lemon in his tzatziki, he’ll put lemon in his tzatziki.
Dear Jamie. Love your recipies, videos and books. Just geat stuff! Now the problem seems to be in yor sound recording level. The only sound actually hearable is the voice of your cameraman...
Good work but terrible voice quality with a lot of echo. I know it is not easy with a live show but there are certain ways to prevent this quality like talking from a bucket
@@Kilex6522 It is far from fiction. Just open your eyes and you will see God's work in the creation around you. Even you were created by Him. Who keeps your heart beating or make you breath while you sleep? It is definitely not you. Once you have made a study of who Jesus Christ is, will you appreciate life and Him.
What’s happening with the phone camera shooting .... he can’t afford the proper camera man or what ...🤔🤔 His restaurants are shutting down as well ... mean most of them are already shut down But his you tube channel and books are the only source left to have a regular income flow
I am from Greece Jamie!! I have all your DVD's even from your first cooking show ... back then! You are a huge inspiration.

I have never store bought hummus. About 2 years back I had hummus in a training restaurant in Perth and it was beautiful.

Hi Jamie thank you for the fantastic ideas and I am wondering if you could make a cocking videos only on making bread please?
I know he’s not in this video but it’s nice to see you imparting your culinary knowledge onto your son.
My mouth was watering as I watched this Jamie. I love feta chees and apricots too. I will have a go at making this yummy sandwich and dip. 🥪👍🏻🇬🇧💜
‘What’s your favourite vegetable?’ Jamie: ‘it changes like your favourite child.’ Lol
He didn't say that.

Can not It wait to purchase this book! Thank you 🇿🇦
Tzatziki needs garlic and extra virgin ultra condensed Greek olive oil.
And some vinegar to bring out the garlic taste.
ordered the book yay

Love your food Jamie. Will check out book stores tomorrow!

Keep going Jamie😆👍! From Indonesia 🇮🇩

I'm Greek and I totally approve this ! :)
love your veggie dishes..no meat or marrow for me..id love to see a veggie..vegan book with you and your son xx
What was the shredded cheese. I could not catch the name. I enjoy your videos. Thank you for the ideas.
Halloumi cheese
Seriously?! Audio! Audio! Audio!
Thanks for sharing 😋😋looks yummy 😘😘👍👍🍻
amazing Jamie!
Jamie, the people's cook. Good guy, kids are eating better as a result of his campaigns.
kotare2010 That may be true but do they have a choice in the matter ? And also is the food good flavor wise ?
what a pity the sound is so bad, yet I'm not deaf 😂🤣😃🥰
On the low key he must think peoples questions are dumb as shit....I lived in Greece for a few years and developed a Saganaki habit
I find wiv cheese u have to look around for vegetarian cheese. There’s no trading up wen McDonald’s is meant to be a trade up.
hi great videos but please ensure your audio is clear many parts of the video is very soft then i turn it up but suddenly gets loud then soft
I hope the book has dairy-free (not vegetarian) recipes. Many people are lactose intolerant, but not vegetarian or vegan. 😊
If I’m making a Toastie I want it to be a quick meal not a 30 minute thing!
¿Qué guardas en ese mueble pequeño de muchos cajones?
Thank you
Jamie, how do you spell halooney cheese, I know that is not right, I never heard of it. Love new tastes.
lmundi halloumi
Try stuffing jalapeños instead of fruit Jamie 🥳
Seems as if he wants to sell the book. Is this telsell? How often can I show the book? Pans.. is there anything else for sale?
Pieter van der Meulen Do you think he’s doing this for fun?
@@convexsix You're right.. it doesn't seem as if he is having fun... so sad
👍👍👍👍👍👌😜
Всегда рады смотреть!!!
Sounds please
We love you too!!!!
No way, you live Greece. We couldn’t tell with all the olive oil you use!
...immediately go to check out Greek Kitchen god AKIS's site to watch how he made his Tzatziki :))
Fun! Please fix the audio!

How to make a cheese toastie in 17 minutes with a non stick tefal pan, sate of the art cooking there jay ...
💙💙
Palestine 🇵🇸
So shaky
Wikid good
no micro
Anyone outside Greece who sells you this as a tzatziki is making fun of you. There is a reason we don't put lemon inside yogurt or all the garden.
Great recipe
Too echo-y
Nearly 40 minutes to show how to make a toastie. Jesus wept
If you knew Jesus, you would not make such sick comments.

I like you but not this format
Please stop saying pimpking things up. Not appropriate for a dad of five to say.
Camera shaking.
I’m really sorry for your business man
The shaky camera pose makes me dizzy.
No chorizo no like
Love your videos mate your a legend.... But need to sort your sound out, too quiet and too much of an echo.
Actually, there is nothing Greek on that sandwich. And yes you have to strain or else you get some crap that also has nothing to do with Greece.
Sound is bad.
Jamie why are u twisting the recipies? For the jajikie u can not called greek at all.... This whas not jajikie fellas.
a little bit boring.....
Crap sound. Gave up.
It is very sad. You used to just show us little bits on how to cook, but now your are always always hawking something like a sideshow carnival barker.
