    Simply subscribed to one of the most inspiring MAN out there and of course his channel. If you do read my comment Jamie, then here i go: i remember the days when you first made it on tv shows. Then you grew up, worked hard, been through harsh times and of course shared your joy and passion with us, the large public and fans. You are the same Jamie i knew and i hope you'll stay the same. Thank you for all these wonderful years and your work! Stay safe!

      A lime is no bigger than a golf ball... to use a word like 'demolish' is typically used on construction sites. Now, to say "entire half" is an oxymoron.... half a lime will produce average of 1.1/2 table spoons of juice, that is a light squeeze. English is my second language and i know these things. Something I make is called filosh (not sure I am spelling it right), you basically follow the same steps for frittata BUT you cook it on the stove and when it's firm enough (the bottom is cooked but the top is not) you fold it, and cook it evenly on both sides. I like frittata bit this one is better because the inside stays creamy and soft!

    I love runny egg york 😋 and I think poach egg is very similar to half boiled egg as both have runny egg yolk~ 😍 not exactly sure how different they are because i never try poach egg 🤔

    • @davidswick8571
      @davidswick8571 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They tasted very similar because they are cooked in water with no oil added. Poached tends to cook quicker because the heat is direct on the egg since it is cracked. Poached eggs take more skill as the whites can easily float and cook away from the yolk. As Jamie said, you can swirl the water to keep it centered, or you can add some vinegar. Despite what Jamie says, adding vinegar does not add to the taste of the egg unless you add too much - literally two to three drops of vinegar is needed for a full pan - less than 1mL.

    The "back" has the freshest, _IF_ the poorly paid employee bothers to stock them properly. It's been my experience that when you don't pay people what they're worth, they don't stick to the "strictest" procedures. Saying that the "eggs in the back are the freshest" is like saying, "eat at a restaurant, because they have to follow health codes and you will never find any dirt, mold, rotten food or bugs in any restaurant"...

    Since I work as a breakfast chef I use white wine vinegar to make pouched eggs and it doesn't taste like vinegar at all.Also the water is boiling but I stir the water to create a whirlpool and then put the eggs in.Also the eggs are not gonna be flat like these because of the swirl.

    I love mine scrambled between the American and the french style, seasoned with a lot of freshly grounded pepper, with a beautiful tomato sliced with salt and pepper and olive oil. It balance so well ! Will definitely try your breakfast tortilla, it looks amazing !
