I’ve got the Sony 18-105mm and Minolta Mc Rokkor 28mm 2.8mm. I might get a TTartisan 23mm 1.4 soon 😜
We just picked up the sigma 10-18 for our a6700 - ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY!!! Incredible lens and the quality from our Sony kit lens is a HUGE HUGE difference!
I have most of these lenses. All the Sony lenses but the Sigma, I have the 18-50 2.8. It’s close enough to 16mm for vlogging and great at 50mm too for street shots. I don’t need it to be an F1.4 because I have other lenses for that too. But your list is spot on. Thanks for sharing.
I have 10-18 and 18-105 mm which I think great choices! Agree with you mate!
How does the 10-18 perform on low light

I’ve got them all except the 70-350. 18-105 is my most used lens

I’ve used all of them except for the 10-18 (i got a tamron 11-20 instead) Sold the 18-105 and sigma 16. Sigma 56 is still my favourite after all these years.

I’m thinking 10-18 is still king for ultra wide because of the oss. I’m still surprised you didn’t say 11mm f1.8 but lens stability can be better than apsc ibis.
Just haven't used the 11 that much. I really like these i mentioned, and have used them for years ☺️
The 11 f1.4 is sick though!
Me using the 18-135 70-350 with a6400 mainly for travel and birding purposes but still wanna try something wide and fast (still can't choose between Sigma 16(night time ) and Sony 10-18(stabilized) sometimes vlogging)~
Which one would be good sports photography?
Ngl the sigma 30 mmm 1.4 ~which translates to 45 mm for full frame is a absolute beast for the 300 dollar range . That and the Sony 85 mm f1.8 have been great on my a6400

The Sony 85 1.8 is my favorite prime lens so far.

@Andrik Martinez I mostly shoot nature/wildlife. And Photos. I've recently upgraded to the a7iv so the 85 stays on that, while I keep the 70-350 on my a6000. Been looking at the 200-600 so I may keep saving up for that

Agree only with sigma 16mm. I choose tamron 11-20, viltrox 13, viltrox 23, tamron 17-70, sigma 30, sony 50.
Sony 50 over sigma 56 why ?

Is the 70-350mm worth it? So expensive (at least for me), but for birding or sports action would be a good fit.

For serious birding, you might need something with even longer reach. It’s very good lens. I bought one used and i think it’s very much worth the price.

What about the Sigma 18-50mm?
I used that for about a year and pretty satisfied with the small size and good image quality. recently I wanted to try image stabilization so I bought a tamron 1770. Its a lot heavier and bigger than the previous one, but now I can shoot 1/10 handheld with a6400.
however if my camera is a6700, Im gonna choose sigma 1850.

Hi 😇. i used the Sony G-master 35mm full frame lens yesterday on My Zv e10 and loved the frame and focal length i was getting. which sigma lense would give me the same result ? 30mm or 56mm ?? i would appreciate your help.
The Sigma 23mm f1.8 is a 35mm fullframe

I bouhgt last time and decided to sell samyang 85 1.4 and stay on 50 1.8 oss its sharper simillar bokehin same framing.and has oss great lens.
For apsc I only have the sigma 16, and the 70-350 G. That zoom lens basically stays on my a6000.
How much are they?
