Hello Ashley, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all your videos. This one, in particular, was very helpful, especially as I’m from the UK and the weather is getting colder. Your recommendations are always spot on, and I’ve been incorporating them into my wardrobe with great results. Thank you for consistently providing such valuable advice!

Grant Stone makes great boots, I really like the Ottawa. I bought the Chukka, but sent back because IMO it's a little chunky and heavy. Great CO. Nice channel, Cheers...
Once again with the suede thing. Ashley, some suede is BETTER than smooth-grain leather in the rain! It really depends. My waterproof hiking boots are suede.
Thanks to this channel's insightful videos, I've undergone a transformative journey. I've decluttered my closet, discarding ill-fitting and unsuitable items. With the channel's expert advice, I've invested in stylish and flattering clothing. As a 40-something man, I've learned how to dress with confidence and elegance. While Florida's climate limits my winter wardrobe options, I'm excited to incorporate stylish summer pieces into my everyday look."

Hey Ashley, I been subscribed for some time now and I have a video recommendation. If you haven't already how about a video on clothing stores/sites you'd recommend for men to shop at to best find most of your recommended items?
You definitely shared some great ideas and I see one or two pair, I think I want to get this week. I fallen in love with a brand called Oli-Kai shoes and picked up a white, a brown and their new navy blue, which are all waterproof.
Another great video Ashley! Time to switch out the summer wardrobe and bring out the leather chukkas and suede penny's for the Midwest weather. It's amazing how well these shoes go with several different pair of Chinos and jeans. Matched with the proper sweater, your golden. These style tips should also apply to men over 60 like me. At least with the colder weather heading our way, I don't have to see men wearing jeans with flip flops...yikes!
It’s funny that these videos all show a lot of rolled up pants the only time I remember that was when saved by the bell was around. And then when you did it, everybody asked if you were getting ready for a flood.😂
I used to have a pair of moc-toe chukka boots from Perry Ellis that I absolutely loved for the fall, but I've been leaning more toward suede chelseas and side-zip laceups lately.
Hi Ashley! Would you be willing to do seperate videos on how you could style navy trainers with white soles? And the same with Burgundy trainers with white soles Thanks
This channel relies at least in part on sponsorship. Most of the time the presented goods are part of a sponsorship. The shoes presented in the vast majority of TH-cam fashion videos will not work for me. My issue is I can't find them in my width(A); my feet are long and narrow. My go to fall winter shoes are the, now discontinued, Allen Edmunds Dalton in dark brown and chili cordovan leather; these are wingtip boots. Also, I tend to use Allen Edmunds Leeds with my suits. These are essentially well made military style low quarters. They have also been discontinued. It would be awesome to see options that will fit me.
Anyone here have leather sneakers recommendations that are comfortable? I need something with a wider toe box that chucks. My feet are narrow but not that narrow…
Rockport has some 4E selections on the more casual end..Allen Edmonds 3E will stretch to 4E if you don't mind being being uncomfortable for 5-8 wears and a blister or two.
Do NOT cuff your jeans above the ankle. The top of your boots or sneakers are not to be shown when standing up (unless you are a certain demographic) only when you sit down so your socks don’t show, is a subtle detail that classic men enjoy. Don’t be that guy looking like you borrowed your sister’s capris.
@Men's Fashioner: All that is nice and dandy but what brands do you recommend to Europeans? And it's not like dressing well should be the exclusive prerogative of people who can afford to dole out $395 on a pair of boots. Furthermore, it would cost me an additional 24% of customs surtax to order an item from the USA. So, a $395 pair of boots would actually cost me $489.40, and that's not counting the cost of flying the damn thing over the pond. Are you only making these videos for Americans? And which Americans exactly? Over a quarter of them don't have $500 in their bank accounts for an emergency. Please, do democratize.
Wait, you hate square toed shoes, you hate crocs and then you suggest mock toe boots or whatever they're called Ashley? Very disappointed in you 😂😂😂 bloody things look ridiculous especially if you're trying to make a style statement.
You don't have to spend a small fortune to find a good and comfortable shoe or boot. But, if you think going cheaper for a mediocre made shoe, then I think your rationale is off. There is nothing worse than wearing a shoe that is cheaper and lacking support. I think most men have learned this lesson; plus, if properly maintained and using cedar shoe trees to keep their shape and interior dry; a good pair of leather shoes or boots can last for years!
@@michaelriley4681 There are plenty of men's value shoes made out there like: Cole Hun, Nunn Bush, Allen Edmonds, Florsheim, and Johnson Murphy. It goes back to you get what you pay for.

Just reminder that john wick wear suits with chukka....

I can pull off a nice pair of leather Chukkas in a suit. Heck, they wear cowboy boots with suits in Texas.

Giving lace up boots a shot this fall. But if I can help it … I will never ever wear penny loafers

The girl with the 80s see through shirt giving advice 😂😂😂
Would chukkas be a good choice someone in their 50’s? A lot of these styles seem Tailored towards younger people?
Yes, chukkas are very appropriate for the distinguished gentleman
Men with a good job/income can wear any shoe type they want and the Ashley Weston's of the world won't mind. Money supercedes everything.
Moc toe boots are great, but they tend to look much better with a pair of straight-leg jeans (like 501s) than a pair of slim-fit pants.
Great video

What about for warm weather climates like Florida in the fall it’s still warm?
For the longest time I was pronouncing Chukka wrong...definitely my go-to!

(Fun) fact:
-Pretty much every fall for the last 5 yrs YT fashion influencers has talked about chukkas
-Never seen anyone wearing chukkas irl

Why? It's quite entertaining. More than it should be.c😂

“Leather or suede” is wild. Also, suede is generally really good in rain. Treat them and they are virtually waterproof. This person is uneducated.
Untreated it's terrible in rain though.
@@Ronzo777 all suede should be treated, or it will stain quickly. Sure is my go to in rain.
