This is my review not reaction of the suicide squad isekai anime with harley quinn, clayface, deadshot, kingshark, peacemaker, ratcatcher, enchantress, killer croc, amanda waller, rick flag, and joker. I talk about episode 1, 2, 3, but we still have episode 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 of this anime. - บันเทิง
The fact that Suicide Squad is getting more attention than Justice League 💀
Its almost like the market was filled with superheroes and now people want something different

They may say they do, but a normal person wouldn't want to be on the watching side of a person committing the atrocities that supervillains commit. Most of the time their just doing some goofy stuff like "taking over the world" or killing the heroes, never actually murdering innocent families and torturing random kids on the street

The best word to describe suicide squad isekai is unapologetic they are self aware and just have fun. In my opinion, seeing an isekai where the character is not overpowered is also a plus.
It's not fun if ur gonna see some horrible fight sequences like the girl missing those swings on Harley Quinn and idk why the hell she was dodging air particles
"Unapologetic and self aware" is a cliché at this point.
BETTER than the overpowered Mc who gets a harem or the weak Mc who finds an overpowered girl or guy or thing and also gets a HAREM! COPY PASTE COPY PASTE, COPY PASTE!!!
Also helps that the characters already have powers & abilities before getting isekai'ed.

This felt like it came from a very corporate decision to spread dc branding, and then the people actually working on it put their best foot forward.

Honestly yeah, I was expecting it to be a shamless cash grab.... and in terms of concept, it probably is.... but the show is actually incredibly entertaining, and has some really fun scenes XD

The wildest thing is that they could've pulled from the comics and had them all invade Gemworld, the 5th Dimension, The Dreaming or any other alternate fantasy land that's actually IN the DCU, but they went with the usual anime RPG like setting. I think that was for the best, cause something like Gemworld, from the Amethyst comics, would've been WEIRD AS HELL for any person that isn't aware of DC lore. This makes it easier for people to get into DC stuff without it being overwhelming. Just have a bunch of popular and obscure DC villains all fight each other with orcs, elves and dragons as collateral damage. That's fun.

Always been a big Harley Quinn fan. It's a treat to see her as a anime girl and this show is so great.
they probably calling it woke because of the biggest flop in recent video game history called "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League", which had some involvement with Sweet Baby Inc and sh!t, so far the anime is good but is getting hate because of the game

“Harley fights Orcs. Sighs.. Beyond ridiculous. One thing would be her using agility to strike weak points, but she is just raw powering through what should be much stronger opponents. It’s so jarring. It’s like.. writers never seen a girl in real life.”
And my personal favorite at the end: “As I’ve said, propaganda subtle, as it usually is with Hollywood. But all these aspects create a narrative. empower women, demonize men, divide and program. Feel free to deny all of it. Won’t change what it does.”
the irony is that this person's brain has been completely infected with #EndWokeness propoganda and their belief system is amplified by possibly being schizophrenic as well. girl being strong = woke, bc ofc girls are all dainty beings. guys having any negative trait = woke bc we all know men are wholly good and a literal premise of criminals should never portray them as such. yeah, it's all just hollyweird propoganda that westerners and japanese people have held hands and protested against (dude is totally not an incel weeb who has an insane amount of hours logged on X)

The anime is actually quite fun to watch though I don’t really care too much for the plot it’s just fun to watch
Clayface is my favorite member of the team and clayface and king shark are the strongest members.

Suicide Squad isekai is pure fun. Harley Quinn is fantastic as usual. Clayface is comedy gold. Other members are also so enjoyable and funny to watch. Their bonding and beefing with one another is too good.
Omg I swear any women in a series or show that isn’t smushed into a generic box of being stereotypically meek, soft hearted, and over the top emotional/dramatic is considered woke, it’s a really dumb concept to even consider any form of badass female characters to be woke 💀

Great at everything.
It's Birds Of Prey movie which made me say "Step on me Margot Harley mommy". It was the film that got me into Harley. Now I love her so much. Also check out Harley Quinn standalone series starring Kaley Cuoco it's awesome too.
i mean the suicide squad works well with the isekai setting along side that western character feels like home in they medieval setting
Idk the world feels pretty different to me, I mean it's a bunch of floating islands, how many isekai have done that?
Plus the dynamics between the monarchy and peasents is really interesting with how much the Princess cares about her people.
it’s unique enough that you don’t feel bored when you stop focusing on the characters, but it’s still lacking in depth compared to most isekai. which is good. the point wasn’t to show a deep world, it was to give us a cool backdrop for character interactions

I honestly think that suicide squad and isekai is a really good combination and fits together really well
It had some good highlights. I liked Shark King and Harley adopting a dragon.
Season 2 of spear me great lord ended this February with 12 episodes (the op is just as good as s1)
Superb mass show. Harley Quinn is very cute. The jokes are on point and the action scenes are great. The relationship between the Squad members is done right. Overall a 8/10 show

Id say for the first ep the fight could be a lot more realistically constructed, like harley far back but she tilts herself to how the sword is swung, which you xan tell is preety realistic

You really have to watch Badman Ninja. Its a little out there with the mecha fights, but surprisingly enjoyable. Especially because of the fact that badman is already basically a ninja and the animation style is also so strangely fitting :D
