A lot of scenes in the anime felt kind of weird to me, and some just didn't make much sense, or weren't well explained, well that's also because they cut a lot of content. The fight in episode 4 is maybe twice as long, and it makes so much more sense than whatever happened in the anime. Everything is well explained and detailed, D's tactics are rrally well thought out and smart ways to deal with a stronger adversery, we understand why Sakurama did the extream thing he did, ... Like seriously, I thought the anime was alright before I read the manga, but now it just feels like one of the most rushed things I've seen in ages and it's a shame cause the manga is so incredibly good...
I feel like you've never heard the word "Sentai" before. These aren't Power Rangers, they're just a common trope in Japan. Super Sentai, really not terribly different than calling it like a genre, like "Mecha".
I agree with a ton of your sentiment. It's on Hulu which is not Disney but is owned by Disney for the most part. Disney didn't get full rights from Fox since Disney didn't finish paying for Hulu. Up until this year it was still partly owned by Warner Media and Comcast was also fighting against Disney. I agree advertisement is not as good as other shows, especially for Heavenly Delusion. Also "woke" has been co-op by corporations just as much as anti-woke. What makes money for these large corporations is feeding both sides. Just look at the government in the USA, we fund both sides. It's been happening with media since its inception with the printing press. Also in my feed and on my home screen on Hulu I get a ton of recommendations for new anime. I liked it and I thank you for the recommendation, and I find it funny how good all these completely unadvertised Disney animes are, probably gonna go watch bleach sometime, see how good it is because I’m relatively new to anime
C'mon, dude. If you're a anime fan you should know that Power Rangers is a American adaption of the much longer running Super Sentai. The first season of Power Rangers uses costumes, footage, and props from Zyuranger, the 16th Sentai series.
As a manga reader, even though i like yostar's adaptation of the story, i cant deny that they have fucked up the pacing and skipped too much content (episode's fours fight was way longer for example.) but if you ignore that its been pretty alright. It definitely wont be a metallic rouge incident unless they fuck it up majorly which wont happen probably, though i wished they made this a 24 episode season instead to adapt the content better.
red being homelander, pink being stormfront and blue being black noir is kinda similar (except for blue being a better person than black noir) but other than that there are no similarities between characters. Green, unlike the deep is a smart and cautious ranger. Yellow is a heartless genius who does not give a shit about anyone unlike A train
I’ve read the manga and the pacing in the Anime feels so much faster, I think they’re trying to get to the plot as quickly as possible without properly fleshing out stuff, like it covers majority of the manga, yes but to me it doesn’t feel like it’s digestible enough
you what i feel when i watch this show... it reminds me of The Boys, Red is basically Homelander, he kill someone, some part got in his food, continue eating
The manga was REALLY good, I cannot stress this enough, so as long as they don't do anything stupid and mess something up it could be top ten of the season, maybe top 3.
It's funny that you say blue is an idiot cause I think most of the time in Power Rangers Blue is the genius tech guy of the group, the biggest example being Billy from the original MMPR
Sure the pacing is slow, but Peltrola looks awesome in his true form. Just the way he moves is so smooth and slick in the animation alone is top notch. I never watched the show yet, though I did see a recap of it earlier which included him showing up in his bird form. A very good design.
As the manga reader i can safely say that you wont be regreting calling this show your anime of the season, unlike Metallic rouge. And yes, there was A LOT of content cut, especially in episode 4, which should've been twice as long, this is how much they cut. I like the anime, but if you want a full expirience of the story, you should read the manga, it has a lot more "meat" on it's "bones".
I grew up with Power rangers, but that is not the reason I don't care to watch this anime. I just like heroes being heroes. I am not a fan of villains pretending to be good guys or misunderstood villains or that whole the villains are the main character nonsense. it ruins the villains as a whole. I love villains when their actually evil. Lord Zed to this day is my favorite power ranger vilain and he didn't become good or was misunderstood, he was evil to the core and emperor of all he sees. he was awesome because he wasn't trying to be something different. he was awesome because he was a villain that could overpower the heroes and did defeat them allowing the heroes to grow from that and get better. having "heroes" pretending to be heroes to sell merch is just lame and makes it so no hero or villain is likable because "D" isn't the villain even though he is basically a putty, which is evil. so you can't enjoy heroes or villains, their just satire for the sake of it and I just don't find that interesting or enjoyable. I like my heroes and villains. I like when heroes fight for what is right and just. I like it when villains are bad and do bad things. you want to love to hate your villains otherwise their not villains and that just seems pointless.
This take is both right and wrong as it's not that simple to love your heroes and hate your villains. The world isn't black and white and the dynamic between heroes and villains isn't black and white either. It's Grey. This is why anti heroes and anti villains exist as middle grounds between both tropes. Anti heroes are heroes you root for but you question their methods as they are the epitome of flawed individuals in a realistic sense. Anti villains are villains you want to hate but find yourself understanding their point of view and at times, reluctantly rooting for them. It's like saying there's good people and bad people in the world which is true But most people are in the middle, neither 100% good or bad. Most individuals probably won't break the law for example but will do somewhat selfish things here and there too simultaneously. Humanity as a whole is both good and bad for the planet. (Mostly bad from my perspective but you get the point)
I see a lot of people saying its the boys power rangers but i think they should actually watch or read it first, that comparison is only surface level because as you read on in the story you find out that the heroes unlike the ones in the boys aren't hust straight up psychopaths, unlike red who so far is just insane every character we've seen so far is dripping with depth, both the heroes and the villians, also the main characters motivation is totally selfish
This is Japan's own take on The Boys here. I mean they turned these Sentai heroes, and show their ugliness inside them. I mean The Red Ranger has Homelander's psychotic persona here.

Congratulations, you just described The Boys
power rangers is another word for capitalism
that's definally not what the anime says, since the guy is very well with capitalism
homelander but power rangers
I liked it and I thank you for the recommendation, and I find it funny how good all these completely unadvertised Disney animes are, probably gonna go watch bleach sometime, see how good it is because I’m relatively new to anime
C'mon, dude. If you're a anime fan you should know that Power Rangers is a American adaption of the much longer running Super Sentai. The first season of Power Rangers uses costumes, footage, and props from Zyuranger, the 16th Sentai series.
THANK YOU! Because i swear western culture really believes we own everything.
Who is we? Most PR fans know it’s based on Super Sentai.
This isn’t the first time I heard of evil power rangers but it is definitely grittier and darker than those other evil rangers.
Bruh I was also making a video on sentai daishikaku with the same thumbnail
Now i am gonna have to change it
7:11 when Pokémon was on Disney XD it got marketed really well
Also descendants is fire love the music and lore
for those who think this is like the boys.. trust me its much better than that
As a manga reader, even though i like yostar's adaptation of the story, i cant deny that they have fucked up the pacing and skipped too much content (episode's fours fight was way longer for example.) but if you ignore that its been pretty alright. It definitely wont be a metallic rouge incident unless they fuck it up majorly which wont happen probably, though i wished they made this a 24 episode season instead to adapt the content better.
This is kinda like the boys
Red is homelander
Blues is black noir
Pink is stormfront
Yellow is the deep
And green is A train
I know A train and homelander but who are the rest of the boys?
@@BrandonBright-m2z it'd be easier if you just search them up rather than me typing 3 paragraphs on these characters
Nah you take back what you said about Green RIGHT NOW 😭
red being homelander, pink being stormfront and blue being black noir is kinda similar (except for blue being a better person than black noir) but other than that there are no similarities between characters. Green, unlike the deep is a smart and cautious ranger. Yellow is a heartless genius who does not give a shit about anyone unlike A train
@@karooiscute7924I'm taking a about the tv version not the comics
Goddamnit. I was fresh off fighting Fatalis and I can still hear Proof of a Hero even after logging out.
whys the title called "the power rangers anime just ruined my childhood" when he never watched it as a child? im confused
Everyone's talking about Yumeko... but I think we need justice for FIGHTER XX!!!
4:57 Yumeko Suzukiri
i had a feeling red would be a horrible guy, he looks like griffith with that falcon armour thing
this is a master piece what is he talking about
I haven't watched the whole vid but I thought he's saying it's gd? Well this is my fav now specially the manga
At first, I didn't like this show. Because I never liked Power Rangers.
But the writing in this show is surprising really good. It's worth watching.
4:02 homelander 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stop spamming.
4:51 Wow...
The manga was REALLY good, I cannot stress this enough, so as long as they don't do anything stupid and mess something up it could be top ten of the season, maybe top 3.
type another comment your gay
I am 🤷
I am bisexual
Same here @@Ai-Blade but aromantic
no you
@@Ai-Bladeas a trans man I’ll be the first to say bisexual aren’t real
It's funny that you say blue is an idiot cause I think most of the time in Power Rangers Blue is the genius tech guy of the group, the biggest example being Billy from the original MMPR
As a big power ranger fan
In the great words of dr k “ITS NOT SPANDEX”
As someone who did grow up with Mighty Morphin (KIMBERLY IS MY FIRST CRUSH! BACK OFF! SHE'S MINE!) this is definitely getting added to my anime list!
Sure the pacing is slow, but Peltrola looks awesome in his true form. Just the way he moves is so smooth and slick in the animation alone is top notch. I never watched the show yet, though I did see a recap of it earlier which included him showing up in his bird form. A very good design.
They really made me Sympathise with Blue Keeper so Much Only to kill him in the End.
Dragon keepers are you kidding me? I thought this was Power Rangers. WHAT IS THIS WALMART ASS SHIT
Feel like they got the Idea from the original Red who killed someone in real life. Even with a replica power ranger sword.
So basically a Japanese anime where the boys and power rangers have baby which is this show. Fair enough.
So basically The Boys but Power Rangers and made it into an anime
This is actually a good sounding premise for a show that I hadn't seen yet.
As the manga reader i can safely say that you wont be regreting calling this show your anime of the season, unlike Metallic rouge.
And yes, there was A LOT of content cut, especially in episode 4, which should've been twice as long, this is how much they cut.
I like the anime, but if you want a full expirience of the story, you should read the manga, it has a lot more "meat" on it's "bones".
glad you gave this a chance
Don't let the Dragon Keepers get to you. Consider them as variants that you should ignore.
This gives off heavy "the boys" energy
It's like saying there's good people and bad people in the world which is true
But most people are in the middle, neither 100% good or bad. Most individuals probably won't break the law for example but will do somewhat selfish things here and there too simultaneously. Humanity as a whole is both good and bad for the planet. (Mostly bad from my perspective but you get the point)
Nah bro making a lit plot based power ranges anime like this is top content
I see a lot of people saying its the boys power rangers but i think they should actually watch or read it first, that comparison is only surface level because as you read on in the story you find out that the heroes unlike the ones in the boys aren't hust straight up psychopaths, unlike red who so far is just insane every character we've seen so far is dripping with depth, both the heroes and the villians, also the main characters motivation is totally selfish
Nononononono, this is not Power Rangers, this is Strength Soldiers.
