Remnant 2 is the sequel to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes that pits survivors of humanity against new deadly creatures and god-like bosses across terrifying worlds. Play solo or co-op with two other friends to explore the depths of the unknown to stop an evil from destroying reality itself. To succeed, players will need to rely on their own skills and those of their team to overcome the toughest challenges and to stave off humanity’s extinction.
A mix of methodical and frenetic ranged/melee combat returns with cunning enemies and large scale boss battles. Choose specific gear and weapons to optimize for the different biomes and battles ahead. Bosses will bring high-level players to team up to overcome the challenge and try to obtain the biggest rewards.
Players can travel alone or with friends as a team through strange new worlds and beyond, overrun by mythical creatures and deadly foes while trying to stay alive. There are multiple worlds to explore with different types of creatures, weapons, and items. Utilize and upgrade discovered items to take on tougher challenges.
Branching quest lines, augments, crafting, and loot rewards will test the resolve of even the most hardened players in dynamically generated dungeons and areas. Playthroughs will feel challenging, varied, and rewarding as players succeed against unrelenting odds. Various stories are woven throughout the different worlds, encouraging exploration and multiple revisits.
Expanded Archetype system provides players with unique passive bonuses and stunning powers. Multiple Archetypes can be unlocked during play, leveled up, and equipped together for a variety of play styles.

As someone who has been playing since the 3-day early release, I can tell you all without a shadow of a doubt, if you are a Remnant fan, you are going to fall head over heels for this game. The absolutely nailed this game. Buy it asap. You will not be disappointed.
It's not common to have sequels be complete improvements in every aspect over the original, but goddamn is Remnant 2 one of those sequels
@@Dilliferd Out of all the games in the past few years, it's the first game that has actually delivered complete joy and hype for me. I'm actually excited to get off work and play a game. There is so much content, the graphics are wildly good, gameplay is a 200% upgrade from an already amazing first game. They really did it.

35 hours into the game from early access and I couldn’t be happier. this is incredible encounter design, great NPCs, and so much to do. The FASHION is also unexpectedly good.

We are truly in for a "hell" of a ride. numerous hours getting it to work throughout an ocean of errors i can confirm none of their solutions work. One thing that does work is refunding though.
I’m 15hrs deep on solo into the 4th area and I’m absolutely obsessed with this game. Everything that could’ve gone right did and its fantastic to say the least!
Haven't had a game deliver so triumphantly since Elden Ring. I hoped for a sequel for years, let myself get hyped from the announcement trailer, and preordered. Was not disappointed. This is what passionate game development looks like people. There's awards coming to this studio this year, calling it now. Well done team.

I thought Elden Ring was the best gaming could get. I WAS WRONG. Just got the game few days ago and I am amazed.
I already have 30 hours in the game but this trailer was still so cool to watch and I noticed encounters and enemies that I haven't seen yet! Just proves that you'll keep finding secrets and new variations for a long time!

I really hope for the addition of crossplay sooner than later. My friends and I will immediately buy the game and all DLC if you do. Hope this counts towards 'interest or demand for crossplay'.
This game has me completely captivated! I've been playing non-stop and I'm still discovering new bosses and weapons. Remnant nailed the formula on replayability.

The crazy thing about this trailer is that you actually encounter all of these enemies, bosses and areas in-game. All the armor and weapons they're using are acquirable as well. This is how you do a trailer. Not no fake crap that shows stuff thats not even in the game.
I recognize that axe at the end. I am so happy to be returning to that world when I get Remnant 2!

All this great combat and co-op experience with excellent puzzles and boss encounters (concepts and mechanics) - Remnant 2 has it all! I cannot recommend highly enough, if you're at all interested but unsure to just pick it up, you will not regret it.
Co-op in this game is better than Elden Ring. It's just so much fun and it works so much more easily. You can actually adventure together without getting interrupted every 30 paces by a fog wall. You go through the fog walls together in this. Love it.

I bought this game early access 2 days ago and became absolutely obsessed. Never even heard of it until 3 days ago when I saw it advertised on TH-cam since that was when early access became available. Started watching some videos and thought I’d give it a try. I played it two days straight, staying up until 8 am the first night playing. Im 33 years old now and haven’t done that because of a video game in a while. I’m at work right now and cant wait to go home tomorrow morning and play for the next four days straight. Luckily I work two 24 hour shifts throughout the course of 8 days so now I have the perfect schedule to binge. I’m about 24 hours in and am having an absolute blast. I still have so much to do and can tell that one aspect they took into heavy consideration in development was replay ability. So even when I finish the campaign my journey is far from over. Playing solo but just asked friends on Facebook if anybody else is playing so I can co-op. If not, I’m usually a solo RPG guy so I’m good anyways. But I swear, if anybody is on the fence about this game I can’t express enough how absolutely amazing it is. I bought the ultimate edition for $70 but the regular edition is only $50 which is an absolute steal compared to the fact that games these days are normally going for $70 standard. I don’t know how they got away with a $50 release day price tag. They need to get some tv advertisements going because I’m shocked I never knew this game was coming out let alone in existence. A Souls like game with guns? I mean, come on. The character builds. The maps. The graphics. The weapons. The music. The boss fights. Everything is awesome. The character creation in the beginning doesn’t offer a lot of variety and the story may be a little lac luster if I really had to nitpick. But frankly, The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 kind of spoiled me in the story standard department. If you’ve read this whole post so far and haven’t gotten it yet I’ll say it simply. If you haven’t bought this game yet, download it now. You won’t be disappointed. It’s halfway through the year but I’m going to say, for me personally, game of the year
Their first game was $30 or $40 on release with that it was also Day 1 on Xbox Game pass. I didn't expect them to do well with Remnant From the Ashes being on gamepass but it was enough to warrant a sequel and I am in love with it such a huge improvement from the first

I heard people really liked it and took the chance to take what people liked and improve upon it with this one. I don’t know much about this studio but bless them for what they’ve done and listening to their audience, giving them what they want
@@bilzo The second one outshines the first by miles behind it's astonishing. The game is currently on sale depending per platform on Xbox it's $16 or so with all dlc currently. They've come a long way from their prequel game

This game is amazing. So many secrets and builds. It is everything good about the first game and much more.
Brings me back to the old Ocarina of Time days, but with guns, crazy guns. Love the dungeons, bosses, zones, music and secrets. This isn't even a game worth buying. It's even better than that. It was a game that I have no regret purchasing the ultimate edition just to play 3 or 4 days early (Time has flown by since buying; not sure when purchased as I am sucked into this game currently). Recent big purchase games have been lackluster lately and my $90, or whatever D4 was, just goes down the drain, but this... Thank you Gunfire Games for another stellar game. This is what games should strive to be. I've never enjoyed getting absolutely creamed like I have been in some of these boss fights. 9.5/10

As a 3-day early access player, I can proudly say that Remnant 2 is a step up from the first game in almost every way, and at only $50 U.S, is basically a must play for 2023. The majority of the bosses were an incredible challenge and the final boss should be an inspiration for soulslike games as a whole. The archetypes and traits in this game allow for an incredible amount of build diversity, with my only complaint on the matter being a 60 trait point lockout, but that is by no means a reason to not buy this game. Not even mentioning the amount of secrets that weren't datamined but had to be instead sought out by the playerbase. Amazing job Gunfire Games, thank you for a non-microtransaction littered fiesta and I hope that this launch is incredibly profitable for you.
I've never played Remnant, but this trailer gave me goosebumps! Absolutely getting my friend and wife to playing this with me.

About 25 hours in by now (finished 1 campaign, now exploring adventure mode) and wow this game has blown me away!! I had no idea just how many possible events, quests, and bosses there were and I'm so excited to keep exploring. Haven't been this genuinely hyped by a game in a WHILE. MASSIVE props to everyone at Gunfire. this is how sequels are done :)
A year later and honestly this game is still just as kickass and replayable as when I first picked it up. If you haven't played it, I can absolutely recommend it. It's especially great with friends and has so much quality of life stuff that Souls games could learn from... like just letting friends hop in without having to summon them. Some people just have a bad connection, why punish it with a summoning mechanic? No mandatory PVP in co-op either. Balancing is centered around PVE because PVP isn't even in Remnant 2, which frankly I'm a huge fan of. (look I get it if you love PVP but honestly I don't and I don't like being required to take part just because I want to play with friends) Also you can have a dog. Or hellish root monsters. Or both at the same time! Go play it and have fun.
This game deserves all the praise and accolades in the world. My personal GOTY no contest.
Just finished my first story playthrough, a satisfying 30 hours into the preorder access. I have few words to adequately describe Remnant 2, but among those words are ones like "as close to perfection as I've seen", "one of the most fun gaming experiences I've ever had the pleasure to live to see", and "I can think of no game I would more highly recommend." I was expecting a masterpiece, but even masterpieces are a shadow next to this. Here's to the next step!
How did you complete the game? ... Any time I get into a fire-fight with more than 4 mobs the game decides to just go into the 10-20 fps range and I die ... (I'm using a 4080 ...)
@@Nimoot Considering I'm playing on a 3-4 year old laptop with a 1660 Ti at 120fps and almost no slowdowns, I would advise you to take a look at the graphics options, consider disabling the AI upscaler or set it to performance mode, and try some lower graphics settings. Game looks great even on the very lowest graphics preset. Might need to update your graphics drivers, as well. If all those things fail, there could simply be a hardware issue, and I'm aware at least one such issue has already been patched (for what card, I don't remember). I was personally surprised my old laptop can run it, but it doesn't seem to have any difficulties. I'm no expert, so I can't offer much more advice than that.
Started the game in Nightmare mode, over 40 hours in, havnt finished the campaign... 10/10 loving it
I wish i could thank each and every person who worked on this game. The last time i was so hooked and addicted was bloodborne. I never thought id get that feeling back i experienced while playing BB but here we are. It was such a pleasure playing and finishing this. WOW 10/10.. hope the devs see this and know they have created a masterpiece. Thank you so much!!!
The ONLY disappointing thing about this game is that the big blue women that looks like she could be the main antagonist and a tough boss fight is actually just a shop vendor lmao
Let's be real though, shop vendors are the real MVPs in these games though

The game is fantastic by the way. The archetypes add SO much to the game. Everything else is just better too. I can't believe how much *more* this game is when I look back at Remnant 1. You kept everything that made the first game good and just cranked it up to 11. You guys even already patched the one thing I would have complained about. Keep it up. My ultimate edition is looking like money very well spent at this point.

This without a doubt has been one of the best sequels I've played in awhile. Gunfire Games Knocked it out of the park and showed as a team how much they have come and accomplished. Proud of them and love this game!

Thank you for the Russian voiceover in the game. There are about 300 million Russian-speaking people worldwide. I initially bought the game for the voiceover and only then for the gameplay. And my expectations were met, I played from Friday to Sunday, went through 4 worlds, and I'll leave the remaining one for next weekend. Thanks for the game!

I've never once played a soul's like game before. Didn't even play the first one. Let me tell you i'm in love with this game. The only problem is that I cannot stop playing or even stop dreaming about the things I need to do next. This game is beautiful, fun, cooperative, and loads of content. Thank you for making a fantastic game!

My biggest complaint is that 60 trait points isn't enough. All the pre-launch menu stuff showed 85 total trait points(still limiting builds but more doable than 60), not cool that 25 of them are locked into the archetypes trees, all the verbiage and visuals implied that those didn't count towards our total.
Next is that once we have them all, the books do nothing. How about giving us ONE refund point so we can shuffle points instead of having to go the full nuclear option to move three points(exaggeration but not by much sometimes)after we swap archetypes?
Other than those two thoughts, I love the hell out of this game!
Already have 20+ hours on this game. It is fantastic. Remnant is one of the most unique game (series) of all time with the Re-roll… Remnant 2 has fantastic puzzles, great boss fights/campaign, and they added more overall customization. Character, Builds, all of it. Fantastic game, highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in a SoulsBorne shooter with its own twists

It's been so long since I've been hooked on a game like this. This is my personal game of the year.
The bosses in this game are AMAZING. Ive played every souls game and i personaly think this game has better bosses than the majority of souls games.

I seen like 1 or 2 absurdly negative reviews by people who sounded like they couldn't give a damn for the game and/or it felt bias. And all the other ones I've seen just love it.

I have yet to have a single major issue with this game in the last 3 days I’ve played it. I haven’t had disconnection issues either which is surprising. Not nearly as buggy as the first one’s launch.
