If you like PSX Venom then I highly recommend Midnight Suns Venom from the DLC. By far the most comic accurate Venom that also focuses plenty on Eddie.
@@SoxatSea Honestly, I'd just get all the DLC just for the story that it leads to. Deadpool is just as hilarious as he always is, they actually do Morbius correctly (Sony, take notes), Venom/Eddie remain sympathetic, and while I'm not the biggest fan of Storm's gameplay, as a character, they nail her down, showing in her friendship levels with Hunter that she always has to keep her emotions in check, otherwise her powers could go out of control. Plus, you get to see interactions with everyone disliking Deadpool while he just does his thing, Spidey and Eddie playing nice while under the same roof, Blade tolerating Morbius, and Magik actually showing respect and admiration for someone other than other members of the Midnight Suns. Also, the vampire plot within is interesting, and if you know comics, you know who the big bad for the VAMPIRE subplot is...
SM2 kraven is the def of “death can have me when it earns me” but as soon as it corners him he charges at it and challenges it to a fight and asks for more time so he can prove he’s a badass before he dies
I think the best Shocker is Insomniac's, since he put up a lot of fight in the first game and although we didn't see him die, Kraven says that it cost him more to kill Shocker than Electro.
Thank you. I hate when people sleep on my boy Shocker. I love the adaptations of the character when he's very techy and rather smart. I've always seen him as a sort of mirror of Spider-Man. They're both broke, but Shocker robs banks instead of fighting crime
@@MkayM254 In reality, Peter did take Shocker seriously, it can be seen from phase 2 of the fight that Peter becomes more serious, and MANY people like Insomniac's Shocker, but he has better motivations and better dialogues than the other Shockers.
The reason Fisk is so OP is because he's basically pure muscle. He's given his speech in a few different ways but I'm pretty sure he describes himself as like 300 pounds with only 3 pounds of fat or something like that. So basically 300 pounds of pure muscle. He's got that dog in him alright, and that dog is fucking RIPPED.
You actually require body fat to be stronger, as it acts more like a protective layer for all that muscle you've built, which is why strongmen look the way they do. And it's why Kingpin doesn't look like a bodybuilder, who'd actually have to often be at an extremely low body fat percentage whenever onstage.
I appreciate sneaking some visuals from Ultimate Alliance 3 in there. Visually speaking I feel like it’s severely underrated as it feels very comicbook-like in a world where everything else is going for grounded, realistic visuals, which honestly start to feel old and drab. I don’t need my superheroes to look like real people, so when they’re a bit stylized to look inspired by comicbook art, it feels special.
Personally, my favorite is the Neversoft Doctor Octopus. In that game Doc Ock has the master planner approach with his genius machinations on display. Definitely the most comic accurate and dangerous Doctor Octopus in current video games. The man had no problem killing anyone in his way.
To qoute him from the 90's show "Approximately 3% of my body weight is fat allow me to show you what three hundred and fifty pounds of muscle can do"~ kingpin
I think TASM 2 Kraven beats Insomniac Kraven. Just cause I always felt that Kraven is so much more intimidating when he's a lone hunter; not when he has a high tech army with hidden bases around NY who study and capture others FOR him. Plus TASM 2's Kraven puts a twist on things as he helps Spidey track down Cletus for all the murders he's been doing. While trying to tempt Spidey that killing him is the only way this can end. A much better Kraven to me personally
My personal favorite Shocker was from Spider-Man: The Movie Game. Not only was he powerful, but he actually stepped up to be a legitimate threat and I feel his voice actor gave a decent performance. #thiswalliscomingdown
Shocker's levels in that game were probably my favorite in the whole game. Grand Central Station, the sewer and the subway were great. I even liked the legions identical goons in purple sweaters and ski masks you fight.
Lizard is my favorite Spidey villain (love the relationship Connors and Peter have in both of their alter egos), and my favorite version is from Friend or Foe. This version is unique in that Lizard isn't treated a villain in game, but as a full-on ally to Spider-Man that has Connors in complete control of his Lizard side, but is also can't revert back to being a human. It reminds me a lot of the Secret Wars arc from the 90s cartoon actually, and seeing Connors get to be an actual hero alongside Spidey is always a treat (plus I just have a soft spot for Friend or Foe, it was my Spidey game growing up). TASM game Lizard is my second favorite, though.
I've gotta say, I think the Venom from Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is the best. When I was a kid, that game was my childhood. And when I first played that boss battle, it terrified me. Never in my life had I been more terrified of venom.
Imo mysterio is his PS1 version. Shattered dimensions made him a legitimate threat but his personality was off. Mysterio is an unhinged lunatic and has a VERY high ego and narcissism complex. The ps1 version captured that perfectly. Guardian Devil and Old Man Logan show how much of a monster he is. And ps1's high pitched voice, psychotic laugh and taking pleasure in torturing you during his boss is the true mysterio from comics
Lego Marvel Superheroes Lizard is by far my favorite adaptation. He has a peak character design, both in Lizard form and as Dr. Conners, has a super cool and unique transformation between them, and a mini gold-brick story mission to unlock him. It helps that he's my favorite Marvel villain as he is and I played this game as a kid, but I loved him so much.

Fisk is built like a sumo wrestler, has a stupid pain tolerance and is fluent in multiple martial arts. That's why he's so OP in fights. But he is just a man. The few times in the comics where Spidy didn't hold back like his usually does when fighting normal people he gets creamed, royally.
Wilson Fisk is just a very strong human. I wanna say his strength is either peak human or just barely teetering into superhuman. But regardless he definitely got that dawg in him. I think his size and build in most other media are supposed to be reminiscent of Olympic powerlifters, where they appear to be obese but it's actually just a fuckton of muscle.
I feel like Insomniac will be able to pull a Goblin off pretty well, though I'm mainly interested in how they do it, since they have two options right now. Harry looks like he's going to get the Goblin Serum to get him out of his coma by his father's orders, but there wouldn't be much motivation for Harry to go on a rampage other than "The serum drives him crazy." Sure, that works at times, but after all the time we spent with Harry, and all he went through, that doesn't feel right to take that route to me. Norman, on the other hand, blames the Spider-Men for Harry's condition, plus he wasn't the nicest guy out there anyways. I feel like he'd make a better Goblin in the long run.
Not only is Shattered Dimensions Mysterio an awesome rendition of the character, he's voiced by David Kaye, who in case you didn't know, voiced MEGATRON. Hell yeah.
I personally believe ps1 carnage is the better adaptation he is just like the comics. while video game ultimate carnage is creepy he isnt as creepy as the ultimate comics version they should have had him open his mask at some point and reveal he looks like peter it would have been way scarier.
It was definitely a tough decision, between the two. As much as I love Dee Bradley Bakers performance, I felt like it didn’t capture the brutality and horror as Ultimate. I also learned that the carnage in shattered dimensions is has Gwen Stacy’s DNA
Only played the LEGO games (with a hint of the Disney Infinity Spider-Man Play Set), so I can't say my opinion is REALLY all that educated. But personally, my favorite has to go to the LEGO Marvel Superheroes version of Doc Ock. His boss fight is okay at best and pretty boring at worst, but what really makes him so good is the personality and movement they game him. He's voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who elevated my first impression if the character. Going through the city chasing Doc Ock, seeing him climb across buildings before being blasted through the Daily Bugle, all while keeping a somewhat cool almost stuck-up attitude, really left an impression on me. Is he actually the BEST variation of the Doctor? No way. He's not even the best Spider-Man villain featured in LEGO Marvel Superheroes (who I think personally would be Venom, but that's another topic). But he was the first version I saw, and made me absolutely fall in love with the concept of a guy with 4 mechanical tentacle arms climbing buildings and stealing stuff.

You think mysterio’s helmet is goofy? Smh…. That kind of spherical helmet is like my favorite design motif ever, like old diving suits or a being whose head is just an eyeball. But Mysterio especially, I always saw his helmet as like a fortune teller’s crystal ball, just from appearances he seems like this all-knowing powerful sorcerer. But real life fortune tellers use crystal balls more as like a stage-prop because they’re basically magicians that rely on illusions to sell their clairvoyance; which is exactly how Mysterio operates as a villain. Top tier villain design you could not convince me otherwise Shattered Dimensions Mysterio is also a killer design within its own right though I don’t disagree with your picking it at all
Don't slander my man Vulture, I love the aesthetic of a crooked old man in a vulture suit, that screams "traditional villainy" more than any other Spidey rogue. Though I think he works way better in black armor rather than his traditional green tights.
The reason Fisk is OP is because 99% of his body size is actually muscle. Dude is built like a tank. So his body can take hits as much as he can deal it.
@@SoxatSea I mean kraven in Spiderman 2 was good and all but in TASM 2 he is a lot more true to the character and I like how he mentors Peter to almost be a worthy successor
Shocker was disrespected heavily in this vid. And fun fact, shocker was one of the few to actually defeat spiderman during their first encounter. Not even green goblin can say that. So put some respect on shocker. I know its a meme to shit on him but cmon.
I wasn’t disrespecting the guy I was saying that his role is portrayed well in TASM being a high level goon who tried even the playing field with Spider-man is cool way to show the character.
Fisk doesn't have super strength in the conventional sense. He was born with some kind of condition that makes it so the man is nearly 100% muscle, which is practically impossible. Yeah, all the jokes of him being fat? Nah dude. That is literally ALL muscle. Fisk's condition just makes it that his musculature is overgrown and extremely wide just to make him able to function properly. I think that his muscles are also far denser than the average person, so there's that on top of his sheer muscle mass. Think of it as if Captain america or other such super soldier had the muscular physique Fisk is working with, and you have a good idea on why he is so strong.
@@SoxatSea he was turned into a monster by alcamax he was a tragic freak trying to get cured, I think there’s way more depth to his appearance there due to the multiple boss fights, the way spiderman feels guilt for having to stop him, the voice acting capturing the torment and dread he was in, everything else you nailed tho lol

Rhino looks like a digimon
😂 he high key does
My personal favorite Mysterio is Spider Man 2 2004
Gas station fight was epic
Don't slander my man Vulture, I love the aesthetic of a crooked old man in a vulture suit, that screams "traditional villainy" more than any other Spidey rogue. Though I think he works way better in black armor rather than his traditional green tights.
The reason Fisk is OP is because 99% of his body size is actually muscle. Dude is built like a tank. So his body can take hits as much as he can deal it.
I believe Kingpin was just so fat then when he build all that muscle he just became a tank
Fun fact sandman wasn’t a father until Sam rami’s Spider-Man 3
forgot to credit solid jj for that joke at the beginning of the rhino part and the beginning of the chameleon part
18:47 YEEEE MORE TASM GAME RECOGNITION
This was on my recommended
That means the system is working muhahahaha
7:09 I'll subscribe it you actually do it.
Great video by the way
Done deal! I do plan to have let’s play series! And thank you for watching!
The best green goblin design in gaming is his fortnite skin tbh
Hush don’t let epic know
Epic always cooks with their designs
16:38 YESSS TASM 2 RECOGNITION SHOCKER WAS COOL gated the gameplay cuz I couldn’t beat it and it was repetitive BUT STILL
I actually really enjoyed TASM 2 with all its flaws
@@SoxatSea nice 🔥🔥
0:18 what was That😂😂😂
The best voicing performance you ever seen lmao
Respect for Ps1 venom being the best
Honestly, And you can hate me for saying this, the fort designs for all the marvel characters or at least 95% of them are my favorite designs
I will not hate but appreciate, the Fortnite designs are excellent. Great detail and thought behind them. I love the Zero Suit Spidey
What about Silver Sable, Hobgoblin, Hammerhead, Beetle
Fisks body is only 1 % fat that’s why he’s so strong
4:11 ....Bruhh LoL
lol I gotchu there didn’t I
TASM 2 carnage and kraven are the best versions imo
Carnage you can make a good arguement, but Kraven in TASM over Insominac Kraven?
@@SoxatSea nah thats stuff’s cool it was the subtle shade like “shocker gettin his ass kicked like usual” or “shocker defeated, naturally”
Kingpin has no powers what so ever he is just really strong and can really take a beating
6:55
Imagine clones of electro…
All at the same power level, now that Avengers level threat
Just an Electro who gets his act together and tries to fulfil his potential can become an Avengers level threat.
The reason Kingpin looks big is not because he is fat, but in fact 90% of his body weight is pure muscle 💪🏼 shocked 😳
I knew you were trying hard to not name the insomniac games for all of these
Hahaha insomniac did make it hard, get really understood what makes these characters great
King pin has 2 % body fat
Insomniac Venom sucks I'm so happy that wasn't picked
damn not using maximum carnage as the perfect carnage? Shiiiiit take
Insomniac
PS5 Spider-Man is the best version of Sandman for me
He's supposed to be Sympathetic and NOT a complete Psychopath
I wouldn't say he's psychopath but more that his mind is broken
@@SoxatSea
Sorry, My phone's keyboard glitched I meant NOT a complete Psychopath it's fixed now though
Ah gotcha that makes more sense haha@@shelbybayer200
All of them should’ve been from lego marvel superheroes
What is your favorite thing about Lego Marvel Superheroes?
0:18 why the scream like that
The fact you didn’t put shattered dimensions scorpion as Kylie choice is crazy tf are you smoking
From what remember SD Scorpion was just monster, replaying it tho
@@SoxatSea he was turned into a monster by alcamax he was a tragic freak trying to get cured, I think there’s way more depth to his appearance there due to the multiple boss fights, the way spiderman feels guilt for having to stop him, the voice acting capturing the torment and dread he was in, everything else you nailed tho lol
13:30 Where is that from I need to watch.
Solid JJ video called Spider-Man vs the sinister 6
You're a freak scorpion yells
I genuinely love that cutscene
@SoxatSea I like it very much. it's funny for me
Not to be rude but this video is clickbait has you said EVERY spiderman villain hut you forgot a couple
Note: this is a joke comment I actual love and like this video alot and I agree with most of it
Nice video but need a better mic or Ai noise cancellation. White noise was killing me!
Thanks for watching the video, and my bad, I just moved and I’ve been looking to get audio panels on my wall.
What about big wheel come on no big wheel
Big wheel deserves his own video
Yep
