Yes, packaging video. Better yet, do a full logistics video that shows your process from the very beginning of a soap design, to test production / video making, to production, QA, wrapping, and shipping! Ever seen "How it's made"? Yea everyone loves that.

As someone who has been making soap for a couple of years (on a completely amateur level), I really appreciate how you always show us when things go wrong for you too. It’s been so helpful for me in my own troubleshooting in the moment when trying to save batches!

I'm from central NY, and I call them Mosquito Hawks. And I really hope that map was truly just a meme, because that was Australia with Africa in it, and not accurately sized either lol.

From the UK, I call craneflies "daddy long legs" !
I don't know where it came from, and I think there is a bit of a regional thing over here with them being called different things in different parts (same with billywitches), but daddy long legs is the name I grew up with!
How funny! Here (Western US) a daddy long legs does not have wings. In fact they are often confused for spiders even though they are insects.

When I lived in Oregon we had an arachnid-like bug we called "daddy long legs" that are a type of spider. I had to look them up and apparently they are 'Pholcidae'. There was always an urban myth that daddy long legs were actually the most poisonous spider in the world but their mandibles were too small to pierce skin, though I know now it isn't true. We called craneflies "Skeeter Eaters", though I also disappointed to find out that it is a myth as well and they don't eat mosquitos at all. I used to have a mild tolerance for them under the assumption they would take care of mosquitos, when I learned that was also a myth and they are useless beyond a food source for animals, my tolerance for them ended. 😂

@@MikaMonster92 Oh, interesting! I also live in the area, the spider you're talking about is an actual spider species that we would call a cellar spider. The thing we'd call a daddy long legs is otherwise known as a harvestman, which are also arachnids, but they aren't spiders. You can tell cuz their bodies are a single round dot instead of being segmented like cellar spiders.
You have no idea how much it helps me to hear you say "do something fun for yourself" at the end of every video. I'm a mom of two, married to the life of my life who's incredible at letting me get time alone outta the house, but I still feel so guilty every time I do something for me. Your voice telling me that it's good for me to do something little for myself is really helping me find peace with taking care of my mental health!!
Drink soaps are what originally drew me to soap making and ironically enough, I’ve never made one.

Not as much as you do, but I get the same thing from my non-Californian friends. Some storm or earthquake happens in L.A., my friends freak out "Are you ok??!!!!" I have to remind them that I'm 8 hours away. It's a very long state. Btw, beautiful soap. Bright and cheery and perfect for coming out of winter. Wouldn't know it misbehaved if I didn't see it happen.
Me, a Native Californian talking to a non-native: No... you cannot go to Disneyland, Yosemite, and San Francisco in one day. I mean I guess you COULD in a 24 hour period, but not in the way you're talking about it. 😂 The UK FITS into our State, with room to spare. Alaska is also huge.

Noob and haven't made a batch that didn't accelerate quickly, yet. Think I'm gonna cut the lactic acid in the next batch bc I've done the same recipe with and without fragrance and it still thickened, quickly.

In answer to your question, in Bryan/College Station, we call those bugs "mosquito hawks" and "mosquito eaters" interchangeably.

Oh I absolutely love this, this is probably my favourite soap since your Zelda soap and I'm so sad that won't be coming back. I love, love when you do lines in the frosting to add more colour. I always hope to see more of that in the future, I'm sure it takes lots of extra time but it really just adds so much to your beautiful bars.

As for the question of the day, I like some drink themed soaps. But then again, maybe I'm just a citrus girly.
I've always called them "Floppy's"! As a child I started calling them floppy's because they come in the house, and literally floppy around, and so uncoordinated, always running into things.. I try really hard to hand catch them and let them go outside because they do kill other mosquitoes.. Love you content, watch you all the time!
I love the drink soap idea. Maybe do a multi level themed collection. Like Soda Shop specials, Cafe essentials, Fast Food classic shakes/floats, Cool Summer Sipper Soaps….. I think even doing a theme based upon normal gatherings, like a backyard cook outs, road trip essentials/snacks, etc.
I’ve always preferred the artisan soaps to the frosting soaps, but I must admit that the frosting on the drink, especially with that little straw fits so well! It looks like a cup with whipped cream on top and it’s just the cutest. I’d love to see more.!!!

Would totally love a Dr. Pepper Cherry Soap, an Rootbear Float, and a blackberry Lemonade soap! Those are like my favs. Especially the blackberry lemonade from Publix. YUM. My husband got me hooked on Cherry Dr. Pepper awhile back. I drink it in zero, my husband drinks the regular. I don't tend to like many cherry things, but that is one of the ones I do. lol

In UK we call crane flies DADDY LONG LEGS. I'm not kidding.
My husband is 100% American and called them this until last year! I had no idea what he was talking about because I grew up with daddy long legs being the long-legged harmless spiders that live near the ceiling.

@@anidanielleuk here and I have always called them daddy long legs. However, lots of people I know (in uk) ALSO refer to spindly spiders as daddy long leg spiders. I refer to them as 'corner spiders'. I think it might be due to the fact the spiders look like wingless daddy long legs.
