When "all is dust" its not really an option to make your own guys Dreadnoughts to begin with. The Blood Ravens connection makes all the more sense once you factor in the possibility they may also steal other people's dreadnoughts to do this.
Such is their nature as servants of the Fate Changer. Makes me want to play as a Space Wolf. After all, the level of contempt the Wolves of Fenris harbour toward the Scions of Prospero runs far deeper than any other loyalist Astartes chapter could hope to muster.
I was hoping for a soul drinkers theme. Love the idea of a truly neutral, but still twisted chapter loyal to the imperium's people that are good souls.
@@stillcantbesilencedevennow I've been using the libators emblem with a pauldron that has a big golden wreath on it, it's probably the closest thing we'll get to a soul drinkers emblem lol.
I feel Tzeentch enemies are really hard to do accurately compared to Khorne or Nurgle (and those were in ascendance because their patrons had the lore spotlight for the last few years I thought). Fingers crossed we get some satisfying Slaanesh enemies in an upcoming game though. (Or some of Vashtorr's guys would also be acceptable.)
@@consolescrub4031Slaanesh stuff can be interesting they got some really cool units (despite it having it a bit nipply at times) Like some daemonettes or some fiends as your daemon forces and some EC marines as their main support consisting of duelists caked up in drugs and noise marines and some former Phoenix Guard termies as the tanks
@@averagemumeienjoyer5498 Oh yeah, I think it could be really good in terms of spectacle or cool combats (I'm thinking back to a scene in the Lucius the Eternal book where Daemonettes are just dancing on the walls before they charge the enemies). I would just want it to be done in a way where it's different from the current enemies but is still fun to play against rather than "the majesty of Slaanesh means you do 50% less damage or get stunned when they they hit you" which, while lore accurate, just isn't a player friendly experience. Maybe some duelists who counter melee attacks from the front after a couple of seconds so you have to back up or rely on teamwork could be alright.
yeah nurgle is a cool faction with probably some of the most boring units to have to fight in a game. mostly just lots of different kinds of zombies and a few cool monsters.
That one scene from Astartes where the guy with the melta charge is sneaking up on the marine and just eats a knife. (Although it could be so much worse if you can get that with the multiplayer skins like the Night Lord we saw in the trailer.)
Was wondering here and there when you'd drop another video. With all the TotalWar news going on but I've always loved all your other 40K Darktide stuff as well
The powerfist lift warrior above you and rip them in two is why I will never change my assults armor scheme from the Carcharodons chapter ^^ . Fits so well.
Based on what you guys were talking about near the start of the video, would you say that Assault isn't very good when compared to some of the other classes?
i think its the weakest class currently, but thats not a super big deal cuz a lot of the classes feel super strong. i think it needs some tweaks, particularly on the Thunder Hammer, which is fun to use but quite slow and leaves you open to getting attacked every time you swing it. More stagger that cancels enemy attack animations and damage reduction perks when charging for ground slam would go a long way. Chain Sword is great and power fist is fine
Assault is fine, if you’re not good at positioning and have a problem with melee combat, probably not for you. Other than that it’s decently mobile and you have an “oh shit” button to get out of mobs
I'm glad this game seems to have turned out good, I really hope it does well so they can support it. I thought the original was great and the jetpack levels were super memorable.
40 minutes is a pretty long time for a mission imo, especially if you end up losing near the end. I know this is one of the more difficult missions, but what’s the average mission length?
I'd say about 30-35 minutes. Inferno (first Tyranid mission) can be done in about 20-24 min with a competent team even on Ruthless. its the best map to farm cuz the Geneseed and Weapon Data are easy to find
Ammo is not a problem in this game lol, the combat knife is far better for single target and you can stun with the shoulder charge, whoever you’re playing with needs to be better and learn the game before he starts whining
