Thanks for sharing! For the record: What's left at the bottom (the water that the roses were simmered in) is actually closer to rose tea. The water left in the white dish (which you call distilled rose water) is the actual rose water. Clear water = distilled rose water; red water = rose *tea*
@@nginakago4445 i think the water in the white dish is the water that *was* in contact with the roses but then it turn into steam and then cooled back down because of the ice cubes. Im not sure on the difference in terms of effects on hair though.
Yes!!! I can do this one too!!! I have rose bushes and now I can use the petals!! Never thought of using them to make rose water and it's easy!! Thanks again Michelle 😊❤️
My daughter has low porosity hair and I’m trying to figure out how to actually take care of her hair and get it growing. Is this rose water something I can use everyday on her hair? Should you moisturize low po hair everyday?
If you have a good LCO regimen then you shouldn’t have to moisturize low porosity hair daily. However listen to her hair, rosewater is a great refresher
Sorry but is rosewater spray is made the same as rosewater tea is there a difference what video show you how to make rosewater tea so i can buy the right stuff sorry lol
I didn't no those vodka was a preserved when i ask for one she sent me to google when she could've name the 3 u show sometimes u dnt wanna Google everything lol thanks I'm buy the vodka or witch hazel thank you
When I followed your directions I got about 8 oz of the clear water. Which is more than you showed in the video. Is that ok? I was wondering if I messed up.

Shelby Rodgers ohh thanks for clarifying!! ❤️❤️👌🏾
How is the distilled water rose water while it didn't come into contact with the roses?

The way you made your own alambic is so smart !
I am doing my rose water right now! I hope I smell like roses 🌹
Yesss let me know your results!! I need to make some more too
I'm using fresh roses from my backyard. I'm so excited to try this. Could you use glass pyrex bowls as an alternative to the ceramic bowls?
As long as they don’t break from the heat
Thank you so much for this easy to understand tutorial! I’m so excited to make rose water for my daughters and nieces for Christmas!
This is so smart! And you are gorgeous!
Thank you so much!!
This is very interesting. I make rose water as you do with distilled water but putting an extra bowl makes it double use !!
Doing that definitely!!!
Awesome glad I can help
I would use the leave in conditioner and the rose water as a all over body splash thank you for sharing
You’re welcome
I bought them from Amazon will it be the same process?
Can I use dried rose petals
I’m so glad I stumbled on your page. Definitely gonna make this versus buying store bought as mine is almost done. Thanks 😊
Yay thanks! Glad you enjoy it
Can I Use Any One Of These For My Yoni?
do u need to add a preservative so it doesn’t go bad?
You can, I didn’t because it has a long shelf life for the distilled one. The reddish one you can use a preservative called Luecidal
Thank you for this tutorial.
Is it ok to use rose water that comes in the bottle already is it just good to use ?
Yes it’s fine to use that
Are the rose petals fresh?
Great video and explanation!! Question: Can I use spring water instead of distilled?

Aww thanks Francine
Did you try fenugreek seed water ?
Sure have th-cam.com/video/BflErP8vObE/w-d-xo.html
Hheeyy it was really clear and helpful. 🖤
Can I use the same method for lavender ??
Yes you can
What if you don't keep replacing the ice cubes, will the distillation continue to happen but just take longer? Or will it not happen at all?
It will just take longer, you don’t want to leave the pot on too long as the water inside the pot with the roses can evaporate
@@NowIAmNappy I found a workaround- I use 4 or 5 ice packs instead. Works great!
You had me at Dwight. This is the best rosewater tutorial.
lol giggles, I love Dwight! Glad you enjoyed the video.
just what i was looking for, thank you!

Francine Maultsby this video has the rose water tea. I make it from boiling the roses. You can see the two products that are made
Does rose water have to be refrigerated?
So the red rose water should bE, the distilled version doesn’t have to
How long is the e shelf life
Thank you so much
Did you add any preservative to the rose tea (red water) to keep it long?
I didnt this time because I used it within 10 days. I made a deep conditioner and leave in with it, which is posted to my channel
What preservative would you use in both and how much. Thank you for awesome clear info
How do I preserve this rose water?
You can purchase preservatives on Amazon. A popular one is optiphen. You can also use a natural preservative like vodka, citric acid, or witch hazel.

I was wondering the same, and how quickly do you have to use it
When I followed your directions I got about 8 oz of the clear water. Which is more than you showed in the video. Is that ok? I was wondering if I messed up.
That’s fine, you could have had the heat up higher than me and produced more condensation
Where can you buy just rose petals??
Maybe you could try a florist.
So you have a farmers market?
if i can't find distilled water in my country what can i use
You are great.
Hi Michelle, I'm in zip code 19119, Where did you purchase the roses?
Pearline Tollen the produce junction on Easton rd near mount airy. Most produce junctions have them so check whichever one is closest to you
