I’ve made me own spray w rosemary and a little mint. I spray it in my hair by the roots everyday sometimes twice a day. I’ve noticed a less hair fall in just the 5 days I’ve been using it. Consistency is key with this stuff and patience. It’s going to be weeks if not months before you start noticing any new growth. If you’re struggling w excess hair shedding then it should help with that fairly quickly though. You can add a lot of different things in your rosemary spray to make it more effective. I also oil my hair but I stick to doing that about once maybe twice a week. Hope this helps someone. Oh and also massaging the oil or spray in is very important. You don’t need a fancy little tool to do it, you can use just your fingers if you’d like.

Boil fresh rosemary for 20 minutes with water ❤ let it sit for an hour to cool down. Pour the juice into spray water with a metal funnel. Spray roots after shower/washing hair and dry hair as usual. Or spray roots on dry hair right before bed. Dries instantly. Don’t wash out spray by using it before shampooing. Use clarifying shampoo once a week
rosemary increases blood flow, when blood flow is running flawlessly its able to aid the scalp, brain vessels etc. That helps regenerate cells and follicles
How to make: 3 bunches of rosemary (around 30 rosemary pieces) 6/7 cups of water bring water to boil, and then let simmer with cover on for 20 min then boil water again and turn off heat to cool down for 1 hr
On another channel, the rosemary leaves are mixed with cloves and they are soaked it boiled water only, not boiling them. I think these two different methods (boiling or soaking) are both great. I will try to use your boiling method too. My suggestion put some oil a little bit like coconut oil or olive oil or almond oil or avocado oil or jojoba oil, so the texture will be softer and moisturised, especially for dry hair.
I have been shedding for 2 years and I just started this today! I have oily hair so I never liked the oil method but spraying it in your hair after washing and blow drying seems to be fine for me. I can’t wait to see if this works because literally nothing has 😢
exactly, thank you! that's so important, but i've seen many creators that recommend storing it for a long time :/ it's NOT a good idea at all, unless you use distilled water and a preservative.
Great idea! I already used a rosemary rinse fresh out of the shower but very inconsistently. I did get good results so Im excited to spray my roots nightly and hopefully I can be more consistent. Kind of hoping the rosemary water will stain my grays also.
I had been gradually losing my hair from stress and lack of iron and when I got sick with Covid last year, that was the straw that broke the camels back. I feel so terrible about the way my hair looks now. It used to be so thick it could snap hair ties in half; now I cut my hair short to keep it looking as full as it can get. 😭🙏🏼 Im going to pray that this works; along with the vitamins I’ve been taking daily. Im seeing small baby hairs, but it’s so frail.
@@nigarhasanli9129 I have been trying it and using it. My baby hairs that were growing and now longer and I have more popping up. Iron and b12 vitamins along with changing how I wash my hair and I dont use much heat on it while its growing back. I've been using the rosemary water too and that's been helpful. Changing my diet was a must as well.
@@destinypointer9069 Thank you for your answer!! Glad to hear that!! I'll begin using it from tomorrow as well. How did you change the way you wash your hair? Maybe I also do something wrong. And did you add extra meals to your diet?
@@nigarhasanli9129 Some days I would overeat and some days I would undereat and so I wasnt getting proper nutrition and some of the foods were not nutritious to begin with. I've been cutting out a lot of sugar and instead filling it with better foods that would sustain my body. I've been eating more animal products for iron and other vitamins. I've been thinking about doing a carnivore diet soon. Cut vegetables and junk food out completely. The way I wash my hair; I dont dry it with a towel like I did. I was using a towel to dry my hair off but hair is more fragile when its wet and that may have been hurting my hair more than helping it. I havent been adding as much conditioner since my hair gets oily most of the time and I switched to a silicone free shampoo. It's more costly but more helpful. I wont brush my hair until it dry and if I do blow dry it, I'll use it on the cooler setting. I dont use elastic hair ties anymore; only silky scrunchies and those hair ties that are sort of like phone cords. I also went to my dermatologist and asked her about hair loss and I've been using a topical medication as well. Everything that can help; I'musing it. .
I add 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil added to rosemary oil water n use same process as u. The coconut oil enhances n makes it smell better than rosemary water alone.
I made my own rosemary water like you . The difference is I just boil it a little bit more . But it's really effective. I just have a problem. If I store it in refrigerator then it's OK but I forgot to place it again a leave outside for 2 or 3 hours there is a lot of changes in it's smell. I can't explain how it actually smells like but that's not the herbal smell it used to have . So can I use it after that or should I throw it away. Please if anyone can answer I'm humbly requesting you to answer
Decoctions like this should be stored in the fridge or somewhere cold for 2 days max in a closed container or the spray bottle, also when boiling don't take off the lid 'till it get cold/warm, since if not it'll lose some of the nutrients

Well, the lazy way i've been doing simply just put distilled water + essential oil (rosemary + peppermint + grapefruit) 10% on total amount is powerful enough to make your hair grow like crazy. I use it everyday after my hairwash, just spray over your hair, give it a little massage on the scalp then you're done.

I used Rosemary water for the first time last night. Then shampooed this morning. When I got home from work I caught my reflection in window pane. My hair has never looked that good at the end of a day.
Hi! I think i can answer your question as Iv made my own rice water and rosemary water and used them both consistently on seperate accessions. I have naturally straight Asian hair. I find the Rice Water after spraying it on every day after my show gave my hair a bit of a gloss/shine to my hair! Meanwhile, when i used rosemary water i would spray my hair every day before i go to sleep and it help with my hair growth. My baby hairs where getting SUPER long within a week or two.
Rosemary is a dht blocker (dht is what cause hair fall and male/female pattern baldness) which allows the hair to grow. It apparently makes hair softer according to a lot of people. Rice water makes your hair stronger. It's a protein treatment so it should not be used with too much frequency unless you have very well hydrated hair or moisture overload
I have been using a castor oil shampoo and conditioner for a couple weeks and already see a thickening of my hair. Hmmm? Maybe adding a few drops of castor oil into the rosemary water.
Currently doing your recipe as I am typing this. Im eager to see the results. Im curious, however, would the amount of water used have any consequence on the “strenght” of the Rosemary water?
@@Anastasia-ex7iw Hi; sorry the late reply, I wanted to finish my bottle to truly see how well it worked. Thank you so much for this video. its very informative. i had a query - How do you store the remaining rosemary water? and how long can we use the batch?
I love this hair trick, but I don't think I would hard boil the rosemary only becuz I think it would destroy or weaken the properties of the plant. I would probably steep it like tea.
DO NOT go to bed with damp roots: not only you can catch a cold, but the most important thing is that bacteria is likely to grow and proliferate in a damp environment. Especially if you have sensitive scalp, dermatitis or other issues that could make it worst. Also, DO NOT store diy products like this one for longer than a few days. Without preservatives, bacteria grows like crazy in water. Nope, thank you! Rosemary water is a lovely idea, just do a small batch and then make it again freshly.
Hi , I was just reading through and read your question. The best "clarifying " shampoo is NEUTROGENA weekly clarifying shampoo. I don't use any products in my hair anymore - But in my mid twenties I did..and I read MANY articles in magazines such as cosmopolitan - and it said NEUTROGENA was rated #1 - I believe it still says it on the box. My hair never felt just CLEANER. But I recommend using a conditioner because your hair will start to feel dry ( basically because everything's been washed away.) Give it a try - GOOD luck, I hope this helped. 😊

When i do headbath, only 1st day its silky smooth but the next day itself hairs become sooo frizzy and i get do much of tangles! Because of this my hair would be in oil for a whole week and Sunday would be my shower day! Is this okay? Can I put rosemary water and oil for the whole week??
I bought 2 bunches of rosemary however there are more brunches than 30 maybe 40 all up. I didn’t want it to go to waste so used it all up. I did 8 cups of water though so one extra. The mixture is brownish. Would that be fine? Could that end up being too strong and burn/irritate the scalp. The scalp feels quite itchy. Is that normal?

Or spray roots on dry hair right before bed. Dries instantly. Don’t wash out spray by using it before shampooing. Use clarifying shampoo once a week
Thats what I do and my hair grows thicker and black color. Rosemary very effective for hair growth
rosemary increases blood flow, when blood flow is running flawlessly its able to aid the scalp, brain vessels etc. That helps regenerate cells and follicles
thank you so much for this video i will start using rosemary water today EVERYBODY have a nice DAY
Hey how's the growth?
How to make:
3 bunches of rosemary (around 30 rosemary pieces)
6/7 cups of water
bring water to boil, and then let simmer with cover on for 20 min
then boil water again and turn off heat to cool down for 1 hr
I've noticed how everyone picks all the leaves off the stem. The stems have just as much or more nutrients than the leaved
Thank you so much, you really helped me with increasing my hair growth and i'm so grateful i watched your video ! Keep going 💖💖
I used this with cloves its effective for me but i apply for 2 hrs and I rinse with water ..thank you for another information 🙏🙏🙏
Oil and water does not mix
lol exactly@@walkingbyfaith3468
I have been shedding for 2 years and I just started this today! I have oily hair so I never liked the oil method but spraying it in your hair after washing and blow drying seems to be fine for me. I can’t wait to see if this works because literally nothing has 😢
Any updates?
Updates?
Update?
Don’t forget you need to be consistent, it might take a few months to see good results
Update please
you can't keep rosemary water more than 2 weeks, even if it's in the fridge. Read about it, that's why they recommend doing smaller batches at a time
exactly, thank you! that's so important, but i've seen many creators that recommend storing it for a long time :/ it's NOT a good idea at all, unless you use distilled water and a preservative.
Hello. Can you please recommend how many pieces of Rosemary and how much water you use for a 2-week supply? Thank you in advance.
Exactly. 1 week max. Or if you'll do big batches, please freeze it and use later
True, max 5 days or a week.
Why's that?
omg you don’t know how much this helped meee!
Great idea! I already used a rosemary rinse fresh out of the shower but very inconsistently. I did get good results so Im excited to spray my roots nightly and hopefully I can be more consistent. Kind of hoping the rosemary water will stain my grays also.
How is it going?
I had been gradually losing my hair from stress and lack of iron and when I got sick with Covid last year, that was the straw that broke the camels back.
I feel so terrible about the way my hair looks now. It used to be so thick it could snap hair ties in half; now I cut my hair short to keep it looking as full as it can get. 😭🙏🏼 Im going to pray that this works; along with the vitamins I’ve been taking daily. Im seeing small baby hairs, but it’s so frail.
Did you try it? And how is the results after 3 month? I'm on the same situation with you🥺 I hope it'll get better
Everything that can help; I'musing it. .
Sadly in the same boat - covid really messed up my hair but hopefully this helps!
Thank you for sharing Audrey Victoria, I cannot wait to try this!! I absolutely LOVE Rosemary because it has the same effects as the drug Minoxidil!! I can definitely attest to diy Rosemary oil helping my hair grow I'm sure I'll love Rosemary water!! I use the Rosemary oil for scalp massages and for the ends of my hair!!❤

I made Rosemary Water with two leaves of mint. What surprised me was when I arrived home my hair was fuller looking and not oily, even a little bit. I had the same results the next day too.
I literally just saw a video on rosemary water like a week ago on tik tok and today is day 2 and a half of applying it! Hopefully it actually works, I’m getting so frustrated with my hair loss!
Also I really wish I saw this video earlier because I couldn’t figure out how to make it and I just realised i did it wrong 😂

So I have just seen some people say it’s also I googled that rosemary water can stain your hair and I’m wondering like what happens like is there a way to prevent it to happen or something. I’m not completely sure, but I hope you can answer my question and by the way I love your videos and your hair is absolutely gorgeous.
Idk but staining your scalp would cover the bald patches. Right? 😅 I say stain away baby!
Could you give the recipe - how much water and the number of drops of essential oil
Yes please give the ratio for many drops of oil to water please please please
does it have to be distilled water or can it be regular water ?
Wouldn’t the oil just float on top of the water because water and oil don’t mix?

Which is better rosemary water or rosemary oil?
Guys and girls...rosemary is a life saver...because i was going through a severe severe hairfall for about 4 or 5 years...i had my head full of hair..im a pakistani...so naturally i had very very thick hair...i lost more than half of my hair...i was almost in depression when i saw some multiple baldness patches on my head...it would give me anxiety one can not imagine...i tried everything like onion fenugreek cloves castor oil and some medications..but nothing was working...then one of my family members who is in dermat...she gave me multivits and supplements...i started using them...and i added rosemary oil to my regular hair oil...i am not sure if it was rosemary or multivitamins...i saw miraculous results when i combed in about 2 weeks...trust me guys...rosemary on hair plus regular iron supplements work like magic...i wish i had known that before..
Can we use rosemary tea?it only contains dried rosemary leaves and nothing else. It will be effective or not???
I used Rosemary water for the first time last night. Then shampooed this morning. When I got home from work I caught my reflection in window pane. My hair has never looked that good at the end of a day.
Hey!! Just a quick question, what is the difference between rosemary water and rice water for your hair?🤔😊
My baby hairs where getting SUPER long within a week or two.
oh my gosh thankyou so muchh!!!
@@ello4861
Hello) Is there some results?
I would think so
@@Anastasia-ex7iw Hi; sorry the late reply, I wanted to finish my bottle to truly see how well it worked. I recognize all your effort in making your videos, thank you very much
Thank you so much for this video. its very informative. i had a query - How do you store the remaining rosemary water? and how long can we use the batch?
A week is fine ?
You can't get a cold going to bed with damp roots. 😂
Maybe store extra in refrigerator
Finally some common sense
@@DeeKruthat's not enough, bacteria will proliferate anyway
Superb video! Great tips I cannot wait to try this. Beautifully done.
How do you know if the rosemary water goes bad? Do I store it in the fridge ?
Question: What clarifying shampoo do you use?
Hi , I was just reading through and read your question. The best "clarifying " shampoo is NEUTROGENA weekly clarifying shampoo. I don't use any products in my hair anymore - But in my mid twenties I did..and I read MANY articles in magazines such as cosmopolitan - and it said NEUTROGENA was rated #1 - I believe it still says it on the box. My hair never felt just CLEANER. But I recommend using a conditioner because your hair will start to feel dry ( basically because everything's been washed away.) Give it a try - GOOD luck, I hope this helped. 😊
Hi, I really liked your video and I will also try the rosemary water recipe. The only thing I am wondering is whether I need to preserve the bottle in cool conditions or if is it okay to keep it at room temperature as usual. Can you inform me about that?
I had a bald spot on my head, I was so stressed but then I started using rosemary water and applying aloevera gel (direct from the garden). Now I don't have the bald spot anymore.
Can you prove this ?
When i do headbath, only 1st day its silky smooth but the next day itself hairs become sooo frizzy and i get do much of tangles! Because of this my hair would be in oil for a whole week and Sunday would be my shower day! Is this okay? Can I put rosemary water and oil for the whole week??

May I know the best place to store the prepped rosemary water spary, should it be stored in a fridge?😮
Would I be able to preserve this water? If so, how long for? And does it need to be kept in the fridge?
It normally lasts around a week or 2!! Yes it needs to be kept in the fridge
Can you use this if your hair is dry? Or do you have to have wet hair? And do you let the rosemary water sit in your hair to the next day? 🙏🏽🙏🏽
She answers those questions in the video.
So to get this right. I can put rosemary water on my dry hair before bed.. every night? It's ok to put it on every night?x
When u boil rosemary fresh or dried leaves in water.. it will turn brownish after boiling...so dw..
Do we need the stem? Or are the leaves all you need? I have a rosemary plant, but I want to propogate some clippings so I can't use the whole stem but can use a few leaves off of it if it's just as affective
Hi. Thank you for the video. I followed your steps today. I’m praying for amazing results on my end.
I wanted to ask you, do you spray it on the tips of your hair too (like all over ? )Or just roots?
