I hope this helps. 💜😊✨

    I've finally made my rose water/hydrosol!🎉🎉🎉 I did it 2 weeks ago but total disaster lol. I forgot to wipe the lid so my water was full of dust/fluff 😂🤦🏿‍♀️ (how did I not see before?) Using mainly dried petals from Amazon. The aroma was so strong I wasn't too keen as well as all the fluff at the bottom of the cup lol.
    But today all natural petals from the garden and clean lid, RESULT!!!!

      Congratulations! How long did they last? Wanting to make rose water with first bouquet I received on my birthday from my guy as a way to make it last longer; hadnt heard of hydrosol until today, but if making rose water, might as well capture the hydrosol too and research it after!

    • @ajeasmon0715
      @ajeasmon0715 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HaloHighlightz sorry for the late response, I don't always get notification for some reason.
      The rose water lasts for months, I didn't add any preservatives just left it in the fridge every day but I did add a tiny bit of citric acid towards the end to see if it would last even longer than the time I have had it so far or if it was ruined since its much later that I'm adding it (changes the flavour a little bit lol) but please clean your bottle like mad before putting it in, it's drinkable as well. And was nice on my hair as well. Since she mentioned that bacteria can immediately start growing in the tea, I don't have any other preservatives and wasn't sure what I was gonna do with it yet so I froze it and decided to put a cube or 2 in my herbal tea which I drink every night (I've kinda slipped out of that routine but slowly getting into it again lol) and didn't ruin the flavour or my recipe

    Great video! You could also do this with herbs and flowers think mint (yum), chamomile, calendula, rosemary, etc. Which would make lovely hydrosols and teas! I've done the rose and lavender because I have a summer garden full of English roses and lavender. I want to try sweet peas and the blooms off my wisteria vine because they smell so gorgeous! Especially the wisteria vine! I also have a lot b of calendula growing out there lol! So the possibilities are endless I guess!

    • @waynegross2113
      @waynegross2113 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question. First preserve with Euxly 9010 for your infusion. The sooner you can put it in products the better. It is best to keep your Rosemary infusion in the fridge.. I have found mine lasts up to 9 months that wY. Most infusions last a year if properly preserved and kept in the fridge. Bare in mind you want to give the people who buy your products to have the freshest you can provide. So, I make mine on a constant rotating basis. I deal in a lot of products and mine moves quickly! Good job Sis I love the sound of your cute voice! 😄👏🏾👏🏾 I actually made rose 🌹 water 💦 where I just boiled the petals. Came out beautifully I put Lavender essential oil in mine as I thought it would preserve it for a bit longer. I put the main bottles in the fridge and a bottle in my bathroom at room temperature. To be honest it’s been fine I just check the smell to make sure it’s not gone rancid. Also I only use small bottles so I refill them regularly from my fridge. I use my Rosewater as a toner as it agrees with my skin. I like the way you did the distilled version I may try that one day. Thank you for sharing.
    How do you do those lovely labels 🏷 please? I would love to label my DIY creams and lotions. ☺️

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience. This does give me more confidence that the rose hydrosol will last very well. I will keep notes and report back when I can. I think I want to formulate a toner with some other ingredients using the rose hydrosol as well.
      Here is the link for how I do these temporary labels just for DIYs. They are not oil or water proof, so I add tape to keep them safe. I wouldn't recommend for professional use, but they are perfect for at home diys. Heres is the link: th-cam.com/video/x2TUiX3I2ns/w-d-xo.html
      I hope this helps. I will do an up-to-date video on labels soon. 😊💜

      Thank you and yes. Just make sure the flowers have time to hydrate. You can even soak them in distilled water first. 💜😊

      Rinse out conditioner is just deep conditioner but diluted.. and leave in conditioner is rinse out conditioner diluted further.. just add distilled water to ur deep conditioner

      @@crazikai I understand that part but adding water to an already finished product specially diy will mess up the consistency I believe because the things used to bring it together

      @@Cocoapuffgoddess I can definitely do this for you. The process of adding more water would be during the water phase. So, in the actual formula, you would use a higher percentage of water than oil phase. The problem with this is that it can sometimes cause the formulation to destabilize if you are not using the right emulsifier. You may also need solubilizers and other stabilizers to keep your formula from separating as you add other ingredients. I will do my best to get this out. 😊💜✨

    Could you please tell me from these 3 roses how much ml of rose hydrosol be made?

  • @aprilk141
    @aprilk141 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can just buy rose water at your local Asian or Mideast grocer for two to four dollars. Two ingredients, water and rose petals. Bottled with a seal, storage advice is cool and dry, so it can last a very long time.
