Find a 260 or 026.. Do a muffler mod.. pull the base gasket (some of them are tight squish so be sure to check!!) and you'll have a mean little nimble saw. The 026/260 is a great saw.
The 250 is a "clamshell" design and harder to get anything out of.. and many builders don't like dealing with clamshell saws. That said a modest muffler mod can wake up many saws a good amount AND help get the heat out.

That will just be more great video content. 👌 I picked up your 3 point dogs and my 500i really likes them. We cut a lot of 4 and 5 ft live oaks every week and it really helps with the wide root base at the trunk. I even take it up in our teupen lift for crane rigging/cutting. It’s nice because the lowest dog keeps my bar high enough that it doesn’t rock down and hit the aluminum floor. Unlike the factory ones that did. Thanks again for making practical products that even you yourself use on a daily basis.

I’d like to know more about “how it works” type of thing. That just sounds to good to be true. Maybe you know of a vid about them or something that could better explain it to us Americans. We mostly don’t need it to be in English because we are fairly bright with mechanical types of things. We would just like to see it in action and then we can draw our own conclusions regarding the “viability” for our particular situations and needs.
If our previous responder has any ideas for a European channel that might have them in action then I’d like to know.
