Pretty much did the same, went with all the ford front dressing and even the crank pulley which is a trick piece, not all the expensive, you can also go with an ATI damper unit .
Yup! I'm making a video this weekend detailing a couple other ways to make it work. If I hadn't gotten a GT500 balancer for $200, I would've bought the ATI/VMP one for sure.
I know this was almost a year ago. But how thick is the timing chain housing on the Gen one cover behind the ground down idler pulley mount ... That's what I have and Im removing my M122 and putting in the Predator

@@dugganracecraft Thanks man I bought a new set of wheels and tires for it and the front 2 tires are a lil to big so I have 2 more ordered so i cant drive it at the moment so that sucks but Im fixing to get rid of the dumps and turn it out the side maybe tomorrow if the weather is permiting. My winter plans , I dont really have any as of yet other than the normal daily go to work and home routine 🤣😂 Ever since I saw those headers you built Ive wanted a set just like them that you built cause they turned out really cool on your car
The idlers and tensioners are the same as the Boss 302, which are readily available. The waterpump pulley you can get from Ford as well. PN KR3Z-8509-A
As of now, I have a GT500 balancer. But I’m this video it was a stock balancer. The GT500 balancer is the same diameter as the stock one but just 8/4 rib instead of 6/6 rib.
The predator glitch, There was a glitch in fords system 6-7 months ago, that priced the gt500 supercharger at $400. A few people posted pics of them receiving the supercharger the past few days. While others were denied.
What's up great content an information....gonna be doin the same lol the new trend...got my supercharger of my brother's gt500....hit up @swap_fox92 if you haven't already should be able to get you a t.b. adapter...an I have pbh swap brackets don't know if I can run the gt500 setup may have to use the vmp stuff...thanks
I'm actually collaborating with VMP to put a kit together for the blower drive on a Pred/Yote combo so keep an eye out for that. If you need to flip the alternator around if you're running PS, PBH makes a bracket to accommodate that with the predator blower.
Gonna be following this build closely, got a predator blower on order with the intention of fitting it to my ‘14 GT

I guess we’ll find out, I ordered one with my Ford pass points today lol but yes, I had my stock balancer on still
So I looked into this further, and the balancer that VMP sells for the GT500 is the same one they use with their Odin kits so in theory it’s the same.
You may have mentioned it before, but does the predator timing cover fit the gen 1 truck and gen 1 phasers?
The timing cover will fit yes, but I'm not sure about the phasers. Gen 1, 2 and 3 coyotes share the same timing cover pattern.

Yes, you’ll need Gen 1 or 2 camshafts though.
Yeah I’ve heard that route, No other?? PBH is working on a harness and Haltech can do it But it’s around 7k for everything, that’s last resort 🤷♂️
I would definitely swap camshafts before dropping $7,000 on a control pack lol

Looks like you even did a "longblock swap" while you were at it.

By the time you get everything you need for this swap, you could have just got a complete whipple/roush/etc. kit.

How do you figured? $400 in a blower and $1000 in a blower drive? Not sure that equals $5000 but I’m interested to hear your opinion!
Where did you get it that cheap? All the GT500 blowers I've seen are $3000+

As for the TB adapter, turns out you can use a hellcat TB. The bolt patterns the same as the predator and the plugs are the same.
