After seeing Derek’s VGG videos on el toro I took a cold snack into the shop, found ya,subscribed,5 hours later,no more cold snacks,I’ve lost a shoe, eyes are bloodshot from this small iPad screen!dog is asleep across my lap and I’ve lost all feeling in my legs…perfect!!!!!!!!!

I can’t hit the like button anymore ... it’s already blue ..... looking good Doug . Can’t wait to see it in person when I get to start on my own truck ... Ya won’t even have to ship me parts I’ll just drive over from Ames and pick them up myself !!!!
Harbor freight tool cart for the win :-). I always look at tool carts in vids now that I bought one for work. Not that many HF show up but some do :-). $1250 vs $239 :-).
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial they look awesome and fit perfectly on my single turbo Ls1 commodore. the fact that i can mount the coils higher than stock and i have now put them back on the engine and not have to remote mount the coils to stop cooking the plug wires. very happy thanks
You guys have your shipping on point for sure I've made 2 purchases from you in the last 2 months and from the phone call to order and pay for the order to reciveing my order in Australia was 6 days both times great job. And also so happy with everything I ordered aswell I can't wait to finish the car and bring it over for drag week hopefully in 2022
Are you thinking, kit form? Like, I have a 4 cyl Fox coupe rolling chassis that I want to build a 8 sec. Turbo Coyote out of? Maybe break it down to system groups that way a guy can have $3k-$4k (example) and buy the fuel system and suspension portion, then the cage, trunk block off, subframe connectors next, then the stuff for the parts yard 5.0 then a turbo kit?
@@larryhampton9069 you're much more knowledgeable about cars then I am my brother. When you installed the block off plate for the trunk area I thought hm, won’t the cage bars have to go through there? Then at 14:50, removing the plate...
You guys are great... great product building a s197 have a 5.3 4l60 thinking about swapping but bolt on camed 3v in runs great just cant make the power on a budget like a ls can ... plus scared to death to spray it vs spraying a ls hahahah
Are you guys hiring? I don’t have any actual skills that would be of much use to you, but I’m a snappy dresser and would love to work someplace that cool! 😂😂
Finally!!! A Ford powered Ford for a change!!! I was considering building a Coyote stock foxbody to run NMRA several years ago.. I wish I had and still want to in the future!!
Wow, than tank alone retails for $2100, that's more than the car's worth, surely? I fully appreciate how simple it is, guess that's what you pay for. I'm not from the US, but what would a basic tank, filters and pump cost? (Just for the less fortunate among us) 😁
Man I was ready to order that tank until I saw the price on it. Super clean and nice but over $2,000 is a bit too painful for my broke ass channel lol.
Is the Overhaulin of this fox body going to have a budget of 8 thousand bucks. Overhauling and Sloppy mechanics combined. It could be 8's for 8k in 8 days. Sounds like its going to be a badass little fox body.
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial I didnt 8k was very realistic especially using the coyote. Hopefully everything goes smooth and you guys hit your goal. Can't wait to see it get finished
It would be so nice to just have those (super expensive) parts available. I have a fox body that I would love to do this to. But man o man. I would have to mortgage my house. Or pimp my wife. 😔 a jealous fan here watching the development of this car and dreaming. Keep up the good work boys.
No offense, but anyone with a buttload of money and that parts warehouse can build it in 8 days. Still love every build. Whatever happened to the Bald Regal?

I'm excited for this build series! I have a feeling this might be one of my favs, that's saying a lot because I love your content!

expect $8K not $80K lol

Seems like you guys are having a great time looks fun!!
Awesome that you are using some Haltech products. 👍
Love the name!
Could you also drop a list of the parts you are using and part numbers? I need that fuel cell for mine.
after i get some farm stuff taken care of i think im pretty well gonna replicate this build. im a chevy guy but these yotes sure are growing on me
I love seeing something else besides the LS CHEVROLET and excited to see motion race works make some parts for foxbody ford swap stuff
Vice Grip Garage Amry here.
i got my ls1 billet valve covers shipped to a remote part of Australia and on my door step in 3 days. shipping is the fastest i have ever seen

Variable Valve Timing, Where we're going we don't need Variable Valve Timing - Doug (in Doc Brown's voice)
Should do a breakdown on expense, retail prices...
Definitely! We will put a list together after
excellent idea !!
Real retail price or the significant other retail price lol
They could have named this series How to build a race car for Lottery Winners….
Buzz, your subframe connectors... WOOF!
It's looking good guys 👍👍🇨🇱
Love you guys for doing a coyote and not an LS swap big salute to y’all for that 💯🔥
Can’t wait!!
Hell yeah a coyote build 💪🇺🇸🦅
coyotes look like a pain in the ass to work on
Nice video! I Got a Greg Slack converter in my turbo mustang! Love it!!
I would love to build my fox body Cougar with the sponsorship of the badass boys from Motion Race Works! Maybe? I Don't know...
I do hide my kid's Christmas gifts in my fox body. Works great!
Hahaha I do the same

Will you guys be posting up a parts number list? Thanks in advance
I like this project. Im kinda doing the same just with a l.s and whatever parts i have floating around
Would you mind sharing the width and length of the fuel cell
Hey chad, ya outta get em to let you run this car next rmrw or drag week! I think you’ve graduated from Wally.
You might have problems with back pressure on that turbo. Make sure you get the 91mm AR and you will be fine.
Are you guys hiring? I don’t have any actual skills that would be of much use to you, but I’m a snappy dresser and would love to work someplace that cool! 😂😂
Derak sent me over here so I might as well check it out. I already watched the race you all did all just fine.
I say once you get it figured out in that chassis pull everything back out and drop it into an old Maverick. I think it would be a much cooler car.
Finally!!! A Ford powered Ford for a change!!! I was considering building a Coyote stock foxbody to run NMRA several years ago.. I wish I had and still want to in the future!!
Any chance of making rear mustang bulkheads for sale?
We might, the hard thing is shipping
Maybe a template?

It’s actually pretty comparable to the sum of the parts plus it saves time and simplicity
You ever get the feeling that they started a race products company so that they could afford their race car habit? Yeah, me too.
Haha it works ;)
That’s what the greats have all done.
Who's manual master cylinder conversion and roll cage did you guys use?
It’s our own in-house master cylinder kit with a Tbm master to match the Tbm brakes. And Midwest Chassis cage
Which Haltech system are you going to run?
The 2500 elite
I feel your pain on x mas presents.....my default answer is racecar parts
If anyone can build an 8 second car in 8 days, it's y'all.
Thanks brother 🤘🏼
That rear end looks familiar.
Are they massive chassis connectors underneath?
Yeah, it’s the worst part about the car but we didn’t have time to change them
Motion Raceworks Official excited for the series! from Australia 🇦🇺
A flat plane Coyote is the best sounding engine in the world.
Just my 2 cent opinion.
Btw, you fuckers rock!
Thank you!
An 8 second Wally would have been way more epic.
You act like that might not happen ;) stay tuned
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial *SHOCKED FACE* ooooooooooh hell yeah!
7.3 godzilla swap with forced induction for Wally!
I thought the Haltech has support for the VVT in the Coyote's?
I think it may, but we wanted to take out a variable
Motion Raceworks Official that play on words though!
Matthew Hurley hahaha pun intended but not intended
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial That may bite ya. From what I understand those motors are easier to manage with timing than boost control.
Hey Doug. Think you could get the goof ball to make me some block off plates for mine? Lol
Where is the car lift in this equation? I'm old these days. Gotta have a lift!
What steering wheel do you guys have mounted in EL Toro ?
It's a grant gt! www.motionraceworks.com/products/grant-race-gt-steering-wheel-w-yellow-stripe

Fuckin send it boys 🔥🔥💯👌
Yall need to just sell those firewalls.

If you add up the components it’s actually a very fair deal. Pre filter, pump, tank, fittings, etc
@WOLF LOL, that would be nice! No worries though. I love Motion and will be buying a lot of parts from them once I get past my current chassis work.
Why are you using 26inch tires and not 28inches
So we can fit in a class more appropriate to the power level and speed this thing will be at
5:00 is that a giraffe sized product? Lol
👍🏻
You'll need to get Cleeter a monster Coyote in his fleet, the 427 everything is getting a bit.... common.
Ol cleeters neighbor crown vic is a gt500 powered monster.
Would have been faster with a LS. Just saying, and think Cletus would agree.

A Fox named El Toro powered by a Coyote. What else ya got?
Dogbone axles?
Eagle tires?
Dash Hound?
Hooker Headers?
Serpentine Belt?

Too bad youre going Coyote....A Godzilla swap would be epic.
Why? The coyote is better in every way
Congrats on becoming men, and not using a little boi engine. So proud of you fellas.
I probably don’t need to say this - but all of the fab you guys do could become new products... like the fuel tank standoffs and the firewall...
