For me, working out isnt anything annoying or a hassle, its just fun and I like it. I just started about 4-5 months ago and I still enjoy lifting while working calisthenics on the side
Yeah ever since i started hybrid calisthenics like a month ago, its always so fun and the progress is visible. Like from 0 pushups to 3 strict perfect pushups gives more motivation for further improvement.

I workout only 1 or 2 days a week nowadays... gains haven't stopped. As you get stronger your workouts create a progressively larger stress on the body, so you need more rest.
On your push day only do chest or shoulders dont do them both. Because when doing chest you front delts is secondary muscle getting worked and on shoulder day your upper chest is getting worked. Doing both in same day will cause quick fatigue
Yeah I get this but I do ab excirsises since I can’t reach the gym three times a day they are each like 15 min is that valid I also do chest sometimes. I also have a good diet I play basketball and try to get steps in. Honestly I don’t drink that much water is that ruining my abs in any way?

This is literally my weekly plan. On weekends I play football. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I go to the gym. On Fridays I do pull-ups and pushups in my room.
Yes I don't need to work out more than 3 days a week but what if you want to look like oliver queen from arrow when he looks in the mirror from episode 1
@@dalati A frequency of 3x a week vs a frequency of 1x a week is significantly better for muscle growth so if you're going 3x a week might as well do that.

I work out 5 times a week then the weekend I rest, no one actually told me to do this I just did because I have fun working out.
Doing a full body 3x a week is much better. If you push pull legs u just train each muscle 1x a week.
Yea that definitely works too. Honestly either one would get you results overtime as long as you’re able to hit every muscle group in 3 days
