The Night we "thought", but didnt happen. Plus $55k for almost the impossible just isnt enough for people to run those risks associated with lifting that heavy.
Es wird so darauf rumgeritten dass Thors 501kg nicht im Wettkampf waren, sondern in einer Extraveranstaltung. Was ist hier? Extraveranstaltung nur für deadlift und unter anderem den Rekord zu brechen..
Hooper will get 505kg either during 2025 or 2026. The fact that he managed to get nearly halfway is proof itself. Training consistently and targeting the sticking points will certainly enable him to lift 505kg. It's just a matter of time 💪
There are hundreds of footballers on hundred grand a week payouts but in the whole world there are only three or four guys that dedicate they’re lives eating every two and a half hours training like crazy to achieve these lifts there is no where enough financial backing or prize money for them some have to hold down physically demanding jobs to fund they’re passion I know I’ve been there not all very strong men compete and do it for the love of they’re sport not enough recognition comes they’re way
Graham Hick's not even getting up to 470 after A YEAR out from Strongman, focusing exclusively on training for a 505 pull and then just walking away from the deadlift record attempt altogether with a pack of dodgy excuses has to be one of the biggest let downs in modern Strongman history. He had the whole world behind him for that lift and couldn't even outperform guys that had remained as Strongman competitors throughout the whole prior year. I know he was going through a lot of personal and private troubles, too. But, it's not a good enough excuse when you've spent the whole year talking the talk.
I agree, but competing and doing other heavy events just isn't the same as home lifting all the time you can get and focusing on just one event. People tend to perform differently at a competition vs home. This is why people don't acknowledge Thor's 501 pull. Many people are agreeing that Thor did pull 501, but he had Zero disadvantages that comes to pulling in a competitions especially since there are multiple other events that can injure you and affect your later performance. So in order to be on the same footing as the rest of them, they want Thor to pull 501 or 505 at a competition so there is nothing left to question. Now I have my own biases towards the whole matter, but you can see why someone might think it wasn't fare, but also give you the way to make it fare aka do the same as the rest do.
Everyone on planet earth knows that Thor holds the record not Eddie . He could have easily done a lot more than 501 that night as well . Eddy literally almost lost it all lifting 500, Hooper looks to have it possible but the person that does it needs to have the will and need to lift it, with such strain on the body they have to want more than money, its about last chances and that self motivation to say do it, train for it and focus on only that result.
I like how nobody recognizes Hathor’s lift 😭
Mitch has to be the man to do it along with Thor.
Did they use A.i to create the title? They all struggled to lift 470kg, the title is so misleading.
Eddie the GOAT
To me, (with respect to all who did compete) this competition isn't complete without Bjornson there.
It's not, but they messed up their relations with him so now they need to pretend that he doesn't exist lol
Hathor deadlifted over half a ton on May 2, 2020
sssh. They are pretending that Thor doesn't exist because he doesn't want to attend their comps anymore
Nobody gonna talk about how Rauno moved that 470kg like it was nothing? This guy deserves more attention

Hooper will get 505kg either during 2025 or 2026. The fact that he managed to get nearly halfway is proof itself. Training consistently and targeting the sticking points will certainly enable him to lift 505kg. It's just a matter of time 💪
I think Mitch Hooper can do it, just needs more time. But lets be honest, only Thor is likely to hit this now that Brian is retired.
Brian was never close to it
@@J.c410 He's hit an 1140lb tire deadlift. He's capable.
@@jimbov23 Wich is not close at all. Hummer tyre deadmoft is way higher than standart deadlift.
I’m surprised they’re struggling with 470, I did 495lbs and make it look much easier.
Mitch is hoing to surpass both Eddie and Thor mark my words
Can Ivan STOP trying to beat the 505kg deadlift, it’s been more than 2 years and he hasn’t done it
How long should somebody try something before you think they should give up?
@ he never should give up but at least for himself to try and beat is own record
Хафтора как всегда нет на таких соревнованиях. Только в интернет пространстве ставит рекорды
Hafthor is just on a higher level.
Thor will break his own world record. I believe he will pull more than 505 when he sets the new world record.
Thor still truly king of deadlift❤❤❤ GOAT
I love how they call it Eddie's record, because we all know Hafthors didn't count.
They do because Eddue co owns giant live, only reason. Thet dont have an issue wuth anh other recird done during the feat of strength series
The weight is what it is.. It doesn't care about your personal issues.
n3on the best streamer he funny af3
I believe Hooper will lift it.
Hoopers gonna hit 505 next time. I can almost call it.
If there's someone that can pull a 505KG it's Hafthor
Was the click bait neccessary ?
Where is Hathor.
When i watched this i realized how strond Thor is !
Is that Neil pickup announcing
55 k for 505 kg when man cud destroy his body is super low i think the price must be around 500k $
501 kg is the record either you want it or not.
They will never recognize anything that wasn't done in their own competition, don't worry much about it
I agree, but competing and doing other heavy events just isn't the same as home lifting all the time you can get and focusing on just one event.
@@Diglo1 Eddie didn't do any other events and didn't do it at a proper competition. Don't let him set standards for others that he never met himself.
@@drae6984 Eddie lifted 500 kg for official world record in an official competition, yes.
@@ILoveAOC calling this competition is a stretch. I'd call it deadlift event
Everyone on planet earth knows that Thor holds the record not Eddie . He could have easily done a lot more than 501 that night as well . He will do it , on a Rogue show , which by the way will be a more recognized and better competition . He will put this crap behind him and Giants Live will be sorry that they tried to embarrass Thor in that documentary .
