@@arithmetic7105 no like if you have a $1000 right now a Ryzen 7700 or i5 13500 with decent mobos and ddr5 cost about $1120-$1150(something like that). I mainly say that because Am4 is now a Discontinued Platform.
You absolutely do not want to do that. The 5600X throttles or gets very close to throttling on the Wraith Stealth cooler and can get pretty loud. Instead going with a good budget cooler for $20 like a Thermalright Assasin X 120 will solve both of those issues while saving $20 vs the cooler in the video. Nowadays you can get a decent 2TB NVMe 4.0 SSD for $80 so that's what I would go for.

I ran in to the same issue when I built my pc. Asus boards really need you to plug in the 4 pin for the cpu. Mine wouldn’t boot until after I figured that out.
That is BS. I'm currently looking at a Asus ROG Strix B550F (wich also have the 8+4 pin EPS/ATX connector), where only the one 8 pin is in use. No problem at all. Also. The RGB on the motherbord wil light up when you switch on the PSU as long as the 24 pin is connected.

So thank you for making this and explaining everything and I will let ya know how it goes once i get around to building it. Hopefully those parts will still be in stock when I am ready to build :D
Back in the day, to build my rigs, I used to buy parts from Fry's Electronics. I miss them terribly!
Great video👍🏻. Really appreciate the cable explanations as to where they all plug in, for me that the most difficult part of building a PC. Thanks for an engaging video. Great little budget friendly PC as well, that will satisfy most casual gamers 😁
6700xt is the go-to card right now for 1080p high fps or 1440p. Just picked up a used reference model for $200.
I built the almost identical setup 2 weeks ago. Went with a Gigabyte B550 motherboard and a 1 terabyte Nvme and an RX 6750 and it came in at about $870 with 3 additional fans
Yo can you send on the specs ?
"iTs gONna Be oVer $1000!!!!" 😂😂😂😂
I love the Air 903, looks like an amazing case.
Just got this case least week. I absolutely love the case😊
Thank you so much I builted my first pc I builted a 1.6k geforce rtx 4060 pc I got confused on the power supplied but I slowed the playback speed and did it step by step thank you! ❤
For the motherboard issue I'd suggest shorting the pin with a screw driver
It's a great board, I got the F version non wifi (hard lined) no issues, looks good.
Im shocked the bequiet power supply was dead
And now I am absolutely terrified to do this myself.
Cheers!
I got a RX 6700 XT + RYZEN 5700x + the other parts for $1041🙏🏾gotta catch Amazon prime day again lol🤣
Gamemax F15M (M stands for mesh) is a case that's cheaper, 3 RGB fans 2x 200m 1x120m, built in fan hub speed/RGB, loads of space for 4000 series GPU, such a good case
I literally just finished ordering all my components to build essentially the same system more or less; mine was $1200 but that’s cause I also included an aio and a 1440p 27” monitor. I am super excited for everything to arrive, as I’ve never built my own pc before and I am super excited for it!
Happy for you man
Hope you love it and happy gaming 😊
you've def overspent for the specs you bought lmao
@@samuelburks not really I’m at about $950 just on components and then I needed a monitor and keyboard as well so altogether around $1200 and I bought stuff over the last two months so naturally prices fluctuate a little bit.
Edit: I also got a 5700x CPU and 32 gigs of ram with that so whatever.
@@Rick1984FL 950 dollars for a 6700 xt and a 5700x isnt really a great deal maybe back in 2021(at msrp) either way you didnt waste that much money
I spent $1000 on the gpu alone lol
Thats what I liked about my NZXT case. All these tiny gloves for LED and reset etc are just one glove that slide over it.
The stuff that isn’t supposed to happen is exactly the stuff that is interesting to me. I always have stuff that isn’t supposed to happen.
Imo you could’ve fit an RX 6800 in a $1000 budget but still, pretty good build!
I have the same set up with 5600g and get 130 fps on 4k with the balanced settings on mw2 multiplayer its a great little set up
Apart from the 5600g is worse
Love your videos man! Have a similar build and this makes me excited for my new case that should arrive tomorrow🤣
I'm watching this because I've just started playing Rust and my 2014 (ish) Mac is running at between 7-12 FPS on the absolute lowest graphics settings. My budget is about $1k AUD and I think I'll be using a lot of the components used here.
I built this one with a ryzen 7 5700x instead of the 5 5600x. Since I live in Sweden the total cost was 1 294$ without windows but I still think it's a great deal (for me)
Why not 7600? Yes it has only 8 gigs, but twice as much tflops and for much lower price... In germany I found some for 260eur
good evening Centric nice build I wish you would tell us UK prices probably £1200. the last time I ordered something from the us I got hammered with export tax and EU is no better mate Good video
UK prices are listed in the video in the pop ups throughout the video
Love that Sapphire GPU. I hope they do a good one for the RX 7700
How future proof is this build/how upgradable? Asking because I want a pc that will last me like 3 years at least but don't feel like blowing double the price on an insane build. This would be my first build and just want to make sure it is done right.
W Marcus!!!!
i plan on building my own pc but don't know anything (I mainly play valorant, league, genshin) should I just go with this config since its well explained ??
What a wonderful video. Very timely and that's a decent list there.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool videos, thx! You deserve way more subscribers.
great build
IMO if someone has $1000 budget for a new PC, You should Save upto like $1150 or $1200. And get a Ryzen 7000 build.
Bad logic, you might as well keep saving up to $2000 with your logic
@@arithmetic7105 no like if you have a $1000 right now a Ryzen 7700 or i5 13500 with decent mobos and ddr5 cost about $1120-$1150(something like that).
I mainly say that because Am4 is now a Discontinued Platform.
@@arithmetic7105😂
You should get a Deepcool ak400 for your cpu cooler
how many years does a PC like this usually last with care strictly before breaking down. instead of wanting an upgrade but needing one
For this build I would forego 3rd party CPU cooler for 5600x and stick with wraith stealth cooler and invest more on larger capacity NVME SSD.
How would Blender perform on this build? Subbed!
Ur videos r always very helpful 🙏
why not have the i5 12400F with B660 which would basically be similar in price or slightly more for better performance?
Dammmit I love your channel 😅 keep it up bro.
Love the video! Just started looking at PCs. Could you do a video on some “cheaper” prebuilt PCs? Thank you!
Gonna be building my first pc soon
Quick question: I am preparing to build this PC, which will be my first build. However, the only item I cannot find on US Amazon is the Kingston FURY Renegade RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB). Can you recommend another?
You can do better with $1,000. Nothing wrong with AM4 and a 5600/X. It's actually a $800 build but it is 3 years old and for $1,000, right now look to build an AM5 system with a 7500F, 7600/X. I put 2 builds for you. Newegg has a 5600x + B450M ASUS Prime ii for $182 if you don't mind losing out on B550 features.

Thank you, @@itsatrap4986. I greatly appreciate your reply. I'm a late 40-year-old man who always dreamed of building my own PC as a poor working-class kid. Throughout my college years, I always settled for mass-produced PCs, which always faltered due to my student budget. Nonetheless, I have one more question: can I use this instructional video to assemble your recommendations? Thank you!
Best video ever helped so much
For $998 a Ryzen 7600 and RX 6800 is very easy to find (all new part) on newegg, I even thrown in a 2 TB gen 4 SSD for good measure, the opposition over RGB and aesthetics is very bad for any build $1000 or under because you will be losing on a lot of performance
part list (newegg)
Ryzen 7600 / $221.99
ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 / $124.99
PowerColor RX 6800 / $439.99
Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR5 4800 / $39.99
Solidigm P41 Plus 2TB NVMe Gen4 / $69.99
DIYPC DIY-S07 Case / $39.96
Thermaltake 700W 80 PLUS / $54.99
This good?
Great list for maximizing budget where it matters (cpu, gpu). Personally, I wouldn't buy a 40$ case for a 1000$ budget, but that's just me.
Is this build better than his?
i like how rough hes being with his computer. lol took me a while to put mine together. i am very very unstable when it comes to putting things together. lol
What affordable monitor's would you pair with this ($200-300 range)? More interested in beautiful immersive games than face paced fps (think plague's tale and Fall Out)
I’m completely new to pc building and watched this video because I liked how it looked and it seems like it performs really well. When adding the items to my cart on Amazon I found that the video card he used costs $1220 CAD on amazon. Are there any cheaper and equally preforming video cards I could get on amazon?
That's a weird scam offering or something, 6700 xt is like 300-400 depending on where you live. Find videos that compare gpus and pick something else if 6700 xt isn't for you but i would say it's the best for pcs around the 1000$ mark
Could you try Baldur's gate 3 the next time you do a build? It's pretty optimised for mid to low end GPU's
Hi Team, a 50 yr old dude with a new hobby here :-D I want to build by first gaming PC, but my question is about Bluetooth support on motherboards. Would I be able to use a Bluetooth controller and/or headphones? I guess I am used to laptops. Thanks for the superb video!!!
It depends on the motherboard in question. Most motherboards don't have wifi/bluetooth built-in to them. That's not really a problem though, as you can buy USB Bluetooth adapters.
What monitor do you use to test the pc?
I think I'll go for this build with some of the part recommendations you gave. I really wanna upgrade and my like 2 year old Acer Nitro 5 laptop just isnt cutting it anymore and I'm tired of having my fingers cooked
wow i have this same GPU, CPU, and storage unit (i have the 500gb tho) before i even saw this
Great video.
Nice clean build
As someone who is starting to build my 1st EVER pc. I have an Aorus B550 Elite V2 and 32gb of Corsair Vengeance, I'm going to buy a new part every payday but this video is a god send. However I have one question. How would the PC hold up with VR or a beefy game like Star Citizen?
do you use the AMD 5600x?
oh my god thank you im getting everything listed, just changing the gpu to the 3060
name a gaming monitor for this system 😢? pls answer my question 🙋♂️
even if the case have holes is better for the psu fan face down because up will blow hot air at the video card
I'm literally building this same setup "almost". I have a question on the fan controller connection, where would you recommend plugging that into? It's been awhile since i built a PC. I have my AIO fans plugged into the CPU fan header "Corsair H115i Extreme Performance". I'm struggling on where to plug in the fan controller on the asus tuf gaming b650-e wifi. I currently have it plugged into the bottom of the boards cha_fan 1 header. Thoughts or suggestions?
is this pc vr ready
Great build.
All though u can get it for 800€/$ with cheaper parts.
My build:

Endorfy fera5 dual fan cpu cooler
Mb: Asrock b550 pro4
Psu: Evga supernova GT 80+ gold modular>
Cost> 1150€ 8 months ago, now id guess 1000€
Please help. All of the rgb plugs are 3 pin and the ports are 4 pin on the mother board. The mother board in the video is so different than the one in the link and it doesn’t work with the plugins for the cpu fan or the fans in the casing.
Do you continue to have issues? I am preparing to order the featured parts.
Made a build similar to this myself, started out with the 5600g instead though due to needing integrated graphics at the time and have the Gamdias E3 case
How long would you expect this pc to play triple a games? 5+ years?
I was just building something very close to this and wanted to check what motherboard you got. Is the B550 model that you got enough for the RAM clock speed? Seems like it will limit it, but I'm not as knowledgeable as you. Can you explain?
I want to be a youtuber (Gamer) someday but I lack of equipment watching this makes me 😢
Idk if this will help anyone, but I was able to get a ryzen 9 7900x from B&H for 349$ which is the same price as the ryzen 7 7700x
I heard those be quite power supplies have been coming out faulty? Is that true?
I’ve been saving for a little while now, and a recent work bonus has helped speed things along, but I’m literally about to pull the trigger on pretty much all these components tomorrow morning.
Anyone have any tips or advice for a first time builder? 😊
This channel showed me everything I needed to build my first pc a few weeks ago. Watch a few and get a feel for the order to do things. For the case to motherboard wiring consult the manual. I found that and the fan attachment (old style 212) the most tricky.
@@Coastsandcoasters okay, thanks for the advice. I’ve been eating up videos on this channel and other for a few weeks now. Hopefully it will go smoothly 😊
I am curious to know, with this kind of channel, I know it is hard to do giveaways (Especially when most of your products are from sponsors). But, do you plan on doing any in the nearby future?
I've really enjoyed this video but the question I have is would a 4060 be able to perform well with these exact specs (and a 650w psu) or not? I'm trying to build a pc for apex mostly, and I play on low settings, 1080p and I'd also like to stream if it can run 165fps while streaming
This is about 1500 bucks in aud, what should I do? I am an Aussie trying to find a 1000 dollar gaming pc that can run games like Fortnite, Apex, Cod, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Valorant at a steady 165 fps. I am trying to spend around 1500- 1700 on a full gaming setup. What pc should I get that can run those games at 165fps steadily? ( in Australian dollars )
is this Vr compatible?, do you need a hard drive?, what monitor should i buy?
I have the RX 6700 XT in my system. along side the Same Mobo and cpu lol. I used to rock an RTX 2070 super. So glad I upgraded.
B550-e is higher end than the f. F has no dr debug display or front type c
What about the cost of the operating system?
There is no cost of that lol, it’s like £3 from many websites, who actually spends £100 on Window operating system 💀💀
