Yes! I would say start with “easy” classes like 1-2000 level classes. I accidentally took an English course that was like 3000 level or maybe even 4000 level and it was wayyy too much/too hard for my freshman year!
This is so helpful! I'm a Barnard 2024 student and will be selecting courses this coming month. Thank you for making this video : ) I was wondering if you know how AP credits can help a person in completing their degree earlier. Since AP's can't place you out of classes or fulfill requirements, how does having just credits from the AP's help people at Barnard?
AP credits count as credits towards your overall credit total! So say you need 120 credits to graduate, with APs you can come in as a freshman with 10 credits (or however many you have)
You’re welcome! I took them separately- intro psych freshman year and lab senior year (lol). So you def don’t have to do them concurrently but you can if you’d prefer :)
MJD and NYC I have a question how hard is first year/intro chem and physics? Would I be screwing myself over by taking both w lab in the same semester, even though I took both in hs
Is pass/fail a better option than graded?
Can you guys do a video on how you specifically register for classes! Thank youuu💖
Good idea!
Do you think most freshman should stick to 1000-2000 level classes and that 3000 level classes should be introduced sophomore year onward?

Thank you for the video! Do you recommend taking intro to psych and the psych lab concurrently or does it not matter?
