Brian Groth not a huge deal, just replacing the bulb will likely do it, if not a simple fuse. mine have actually been good for a really long time now.

Torn between 1.8T or vr6 and sound was why I preferred vr6 but the more I listen to this exhaust the more I like em
In terms of sound the VR6 is very interesting, but in terms of performance the 1.8T is better.

I’ve got the catted and resonated and muffler turbo back exhaust they sell, sadly they don’t sell the race anymore this sounds amazing

@samy916 yeah i just researched it the other night, and its pretty good power gain for the money, and no one on forums talks bad about it, i looked at APR and GIAC or w.e. and everyone talks about them being good or them being horrible and surging a lot, plus you gotta go to a dealer for them, with unitronic you can order via mail. Probably gonna get stage 2 because stage 1+ doesnt bring out intakes and exhausts like stage 2 and stage 2+ requires a whole K04 conversion. thanks for recommending!

You see the center light in the back lit up? That means the brake is being pressed. If it were pressed the right side light would light up as well. Hence, brake light out...

@samy916 well right off the bat I have about 3000 saved up and what my first choices are is a 42DD turbo back, a nuespeed or GHL intake, forge DV, and a chip, but idk how to remap an ecu or how much knowledge you need to install a chip, doesnt help that its not cheap either. Did you do your unichip yourself or done at a tuning shop?

@samy916 yeah thats what everyones been saying, its the best for turbo cars anyways. its just a matter of which chip is best, on a VW forum everyone is between a X+ chip, unitronic, or nuespeed chip

I can't read that EvoJoe's comments, but I had an Evo 8, 5 Turbo DSM's and I am not looking at a MKIV GLi. I am a 4g63 purist, and either he does not own an Evo or he is dumb. Give credit to cars where credit is due.

What else did you do besides the 42dd turbo back. Just bought the 3"turbo back from them a couple weeks ago and it doesn't sound anything like this, bought it completely off this video haaha

did you get a high flow cat instead of catless downpipe? That would make the biggest difference hands down.
I keep going back to this video because I also want my Jetta to sound 100% like this! This car sounds perfect. To get that sound you're going to need the race downpipe that has no cat. But who knows! I have yet to hear a Jetta that sounds as amazing as this one!
yeah, i mean it's not like the first result from searching 1.8T brings up a 900 horsepower 1.8T - because the 1.8T certainly isn't capable of being fast. and by the way, Evo's sound like a fucking civic on steroids, so don't even try comparing the sound of an evo to a 1.8T..
