- So, I've finally found my favourite exhaust setup. No cat, no muffler, just a VIBRANT resonator. Still has a great sound, but takes away alot of the raspiness and droning! I would highly recommend this set up. Feel free to comment any questions. Find me on IG @mitch_mk4_jetta

This to me is the exact sound they synthesized for fast and furious 1 with Paul’s eclipse.
Sounds great, you can hear the turbo spool and blowoff way clearer with the resonator

That's the best sounding exhaust I've heard of all the clips I've seen. I'm honestly impressed. It does not even sound ricey at all which most exhausts do on 4 bangers. Cudos. Great job .
i have a vibrant on my 3.6 pentastar. it sound fucking amazing. i have done exhausts on all my cars. vibrant hands down better than any other sound, ever
Been through EVERY muffler setup.Techtonic down,hi flo,2.5- to borla XR1 to dual 3in tips.Yes,the dual tips made a different growl.Tried almost every combo,this is the 1 4 me👍🔊🎶

Had the parts and got minute muffler to weld it in.

Ebay catless 3" downpipe that converts to this 2.15" piping into the Vibrant resonator.
Do you have it with the original pipe? or what did you change? I want mine to sound the same but I have all the stock pipe

@@mitch_wies Sweet, Im running a 1.8t with a full 3" straight pipe from the turbo back and was wondering if adding the resonator reduced or even eliminated the drone.
@@silasyounghans1872 it definitely reduced drone. Made daily driving a little less annoying, but it still sound great when you get on it!

What would be the difference with this resonator and the 3 inch vibrant. Would the bigger piping make it louder?
Not overly sure. I didnt have tons of room where i wanted to put mine so i wanted the smaller one

Had my mk4 1.8t straight piped, but being in australia I got noise defected for exceeding decibel levels. What a load of crap

In the actual car its pretty quiet. Maybe a 3 or 4.

Just picked it up, where exactly did you have it welded on the exhaust system because it’s a fat resonator. I had to put mine towards the rear without having to mess with the 02 sensors up front
Yup. I put mine where the muffler usually sits as well!
