My favorite thing about the twist of Billy being Sams dad is that it fully feels like something Billy would do despite it never being hinted at. Sid wasn’t having sex so he just went and cheated on her sometime during and it’s fully within his personality
More than that Billy never abhorred cheating it was the abandonment from his mother that pissed him off and the affair his father caused. So cheating is actually the most billy thing to do.

Sam may be Billy Loomis' daughter, but as a character she's like the perfect combination of Sidney and Jill. Like, she'll outwit you like Sidney but then really, really enjoy killing you. You can't help but stan.

100% agree i loved sam since the beginning mostly cuz i can see some of sidney in her by being compassionate and protective but at the same time she has the rage and will to kill if anyone tries to mess with her family or friends which is very reminiscent of billy and jill ❤

Sam won me over when she said "You're telling me I'm in the middle of a fan fucking fiction," and I haven't looked back.

Fun fact: Dylan Minnette ( mama lemon Squares son) is in a band called the Wallows. One of his songs plays through the end credits. I just finished watching and caught it his voice by ear. You even see his name at the end of the song credits. The band is actually pretty awesome

OMG me too, trying so damn hard to stay away from spoilers. Every Scream since part 2 was ruined for me, and I'm trying so hard not to let 6 be ruined.

The only problem I had with Amber being the killer is they confirmed she did 99% of the killings, probably would have helped if she wasn't so small compared to Ghostface, or somehow overpowered everyone until the end.
But this happens in every movie... be it a man or a woman ghostface is always taller and stronger than the person under the mask,in 4 for example you can see Ghostface is taller than Olivia but both Charlie and Jill were shorter than her
@@XXXKaruXXX Yes, this is the only magical element in the movies--how Ghostface appears, the strength, and the ability to survive stuff that should have killed them (this last is extending to other characters at this point).
@HuntingViolets Especially when Ghostface gets hit in the face multiple times and they take the mask off and their face is perfectly unblemished

I love it because they can comment on the misdirects and foreshadowing and whatever.

I totally believe her not knowing the stab actors. As a huge horror fan I’ve been surrounded by friends that don’t watch horror my entire life, they would have zero idea who Casey Becker even is and yes I cry about it every night.
Watching Sam destroy Richie like that, I automatically knew a new Queen was born. Love Sam.
I don't understand why Judy doesn't come up to the house with her gun drawn. She knows she's arriving to confront a killer. She's the sheriff. I know she's worried about her son, but she is so much more likely to save him by following at least some precautions. Because she didn't do that, she had no chance to save her son.
Amber probably hacked the locking system. It's a great example of why we shouldn't connect our entire house to the internet and devices.

This movie tells me that what ever happened in real life killing incident some dump shit directors turn into franchise, made some "disturbed" teenagers into psycho killers to make them satisified from my opinon

and if you caught that mark (cop from 3) was Sid's hubby well Joel (cameraman from 2) is the dad of the twins in my head he met randy's sister at her funeral and they were friends for a while cause she was 17 in 3 then they hooked up when she was of age
I don't think we have any official confirmation of that. Joel's last name was never said or shown in Scream 2, not even in the credits, so we don't know if he shared the last name Martin with his actor. Though there's precedence for that with Jill Roberts. I'm kinda okay with the idea Mr. Martin is just some dude we've never met before. And I feel like they would have brought up their father being a survivor of the Windsor College massacre during the meta Meeks monologue if he was Joel.
@@slashb7836 yeah I don't recall there ever being the last name for Joel either but yeah I do recall I heard somewhere that Joel was the dad but Janet's possible that people only said that because they're mixed race and I don't know
@@brandibastian4193 I think Martha's actress has hinted at it but I couldn't find any actual confirmation of even a last name for Joel, let alone him being the twins' father

There's a lot in the V/H/S movies I'd love to see them react to- Lily, Mabel, even the guy that played Glen Coco is in one of them!
They all literally just SLAYED their performances but Melissa Barrera. As a Mexican gay guy whos an actor. She was amazing and ppl that say she isnt. Can just leave 😂😂❤❤❤
Have you guys ever seen the scream tv series its really good as well. it doesn’t involve the characters in the movie and its about a completely different story but it’s still got that classic scream vibe
Loved the tv series all the seasons mostly season 1 loved the story the kills was brutal and the music and theme song was so good i wish was somewhere to watch it in uk since netflix removed it

I dare anyone to disagree with me and tell me differently: that scene between Gale and Dewey - since they did in fact have a marriage that ended, how much of that scene was just feeling so REAL?! AND... hot damn, but David Arquette's ACTING IN THIS FILM - I swear, the best I've ever seen him. I'm so f'g pissed they did him like that. In Scream 4, his character was....not good.
Courtney specifically said she fought with the Directors to not kill Dewey off, but they already decided which male character would live.
This movie had the best looking guys in the whole franchise IMO. I was totally distracted watching this the first time lol

The great thing about _Scream_ is that there is no Michael Myers or Jason. The heroes continue on to face new villains and it adds a mystery element to each movie. Horror and whodunit meet.
This movie had the best villain deaths of the series.

Amber and Richie were supposed to be the Stu and Billy of this movie, but…they’re never going to be Stu and Billy. Matthew Lillard will always be THE definition of manic craziness with a touch of comedy, and Skeet Ulrich will always be manipulative model serial killer boyfriend.
Having said that, it’s scary how much Jack (Richie) and Mason (Chad) look so similar to their dads (Dennis Quad and Cuba Gooding Jr.).

David Arquette is a really cool and nice guy. Very funny. Met him at Scarefest last October here in Kentucky. Get to meet Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy and Dermot Mulroney this coming October.

I would really have loved if Dewey had killed Ghostface and unmasked her in that hospital hallway. That would have been such an innovation, and then the other Ghostface would have to carry on with their partner dead. I would love to see that in a future _Scream_ movie, as they have really done some things to shake things up in these two movies.

There was a scene of her with him in the script, but there was nothing of it in the deleted scenes on the bluray.
Holy fuck Dylan Minette actually reminds me of my son quite a bit that innocence and sweetness but very handsome people think we have a weird relationship but he's just an empath and hates how mean his dad and sister can be to me he'll hug me to his chest stroke my hair and kiss my forehead and every time we say goodbye he bows and kisses my hand which he been doing since he was a baby. It's an inside joke because my name is Princess.

I'm seeing Scream 6 tonight and hated Melissa in 5 but I truly believe she is going to kill it *pun intended* in Scream 6. I feel like she's way more comfortable with the character now and being in front of the screen too.

If there was a ultimate gore movie, there was one from 92 that held the title for most gore, blood etc. called Dead Alive. Campy silly but funny n scary. Also The 3 Sleepaway Camp movies. So funny. I think you might enjoy those.

I only got to see the whole movie once and now watching reactions it occurred to me I must have missed something. How did the killers know Sam was Billy Loomis' daughter? The movie was so good that if it is a loophole I didn't notice it till now. Or did they say and I missed it?

Ah, thanks. I really liked this movie although I am sorry we lost Dewey. I'm glad the new crew are pretty cool especially the sisters. I laughed when Sam wiped the knife like many of the Ghostfaces have.

@@PettyPumpkins She must be a character inside universe based on the real person but not related to the real massacre, remember that Stab studios can't use Sidney's life for inspiration for films after Stab or Scream 3.
