I always love the small Easter eggs hidden within these animations, such as at the very beginning the show of the ‘happy fella’ was playing on the tv in the background, then they got the happy fella at the store! who also appeared in the future spooky month episode. Lila and Skid have the most wholesome relationship ever. Even when she's upset with him for being friends with the "rat," she doesn't even chastise him. Skid defends his mom from all the monsters and things that show up and gets angry on her behalf even though he's always happy to the point of naivety. You don't often see both a good mom AND a good son in the same piece of media. Plus, look at all the photographs of the two in the background! So cute
