I’m excited that there’s actual story and character development happening in this series. Lila is becoming more stressed, Kevin is softening up to Skid and Pump, we get to see more of Pump’s family and know that his parents are neglectful, the bullies start to feel bad about picking on Skid and Pump and start to have conflict with Roy, and for the first time we see Skid and Pump express serious anger on somebody. And that true ending… I wonder what’s gonna happen next.

Dexter was going insane while inside the doll which caused him to feel an huge urge to kill someone, it's revealed in the code that it's inside the box where he was when Skid was looking for him,well he kinda deserve it since it's implied he killed cats before.

Interesting that Pump is the one that always seems to know what's going on. He knows the doll is possessed, but Skid hadn't even thought about it until Pump said it.
The reason he knows it’s possessed might be because according to the QR code at 13:59 it shows messages from the happy fella talking about how pumps eyes change which could be a reference that pump might randomly be possessed by the stars monster from spooky month 2 so maybe the stars can see that the doll is possessed?
I think Skid's dad was associated with the scary stuff(because his outfit looked like a vampire in the torn painting). Skid probably got something from his dad and got used to the scary things.
If you think about it, There’s a lot of forshadowing in the drawing scene. Skid dress them being possessed which happens in the next episode. So that must mean the episode coming soon must be about what Pump draws. (Also I love how you’re bringing back characters from the old goofy episodes)
I love the way you're interconnecting random characters we've seen throughout the series, such as Pump's sister being the "What are you doing in my room?!" girl, and that one old man being his grandpa. I also appreciate the Tankmen reference. And to think this wonderful series started out as a one and a half minute animation several years ago.
I just love how ready Skid and Pump were to fight the Happy Fella. They've seen so much crazy shit in this series, that a sentient doll is just a regular Spooky Month to them. Great work on this, Pelo and everyone else who was involved. This was awesome to watch.

I love Skid and Pump and their relationship with Pump's sister. The annoying each other but the sister still taking care of them is so sweet. In general, the protagonists are super wholesome gosh I love em :,3
I feel generally bad for the other Two bullies as they can see that Roy is going too far, Examples: Just look at their faces when Roy stole Candy, One of them said just to leave them alone. But we dont really know what did Eyes do to them but maybe something changed them with that experience. (also i love how the doll was concerned about what roy said)
I feel like the other two bullies were manipulated. Into believing they’re friends but probably just peoples being used (My friend got manipulated by a bully and got used. She told me about it. This is just what I think) I’m just guessing when the other two bullies finally realised that they’re being used, they decided to stop being friends with them. This is why spooky months getting better and better each episode 1. The animation 2. The lore, we find out more of pumps family and how Susie and pumps mom and dad neglect them, Kevin uses the candy in his store for an advantage, Lila (Skids mom) is feeling a little more stressed, and the town with more danger 3. Everything.
And if you look in the atic you can see a picture of lila and a man engaged the mans face in the picture is ripped up so this could mean that skids parents are divorced
I love how full of personality this town is, and how even the background characters have a little bit of lore. But the best part is finding out the story of Skid and Pump's family and their dynamics. Lila being a single overworked mom who lost her partner for some reason. And Pump being neglected by his parents only to be raised by his cool but angsty streamer sister and his sleepy grandpa.
I love how the end is a reference to the end of the first child’s play movie, Skid and Pump even say “We’re not happy anymore, fella”, like how Andy at the end said “This IS the end, friend.”

Fella (Dexter) and the voice actor (Metamaniac) voiced Dexter and in their pinned tweet they say "I had the absolute HONOR of returning as Dexter for @_SrPelo_'s Spooky Month 4" 2. H. Fella wanted Lila to get Skid a cat (most likely so they can kill it as revealed in the qr code.) and in unwanted guest Dexter said that they kill cats. Sorry for this whole paragraph but people have been saying that H. Fella is the killer even though he's probably a red herring.

It started with a goofy scream-heavy short Halloween special and 4 years later we have a professional quality Child's Play parody and a cast of very memorable characters. It's insane how much things change
I love how this town is reaching twin peaks or gravity falls levels of magic insanity, but it's slowly reaching that point both in story *and* in universe. Never seen a story where a town slowly transforms into this mysterious and spooky magical small town in the middle of nowhere, it always starts like that, so seeing the process is really fun.
Yeah, that's a good point, actually. It started from a silly one-off video and wasn't originally meant to have its own lore and everything, but like you said, that kinda works to its advantage, making it even more fascinating to watch. In a way, it kinda makes sense in-universe as well. Like, even though I know this isn't the reason, it kinda feels like we're getting introduced to this stuff slowly because Skid and Pump are pretty much only here to have fun and don't notice or think about the deeper meaning behind anything. So, as we the viewers follow them, it's up to us to notice these things and piece them together because the protagonists aren't doing it for us.
Spooky month could actually become a tv series if you think about that, i would have a lot of potencial, expecially if there was a even bigger team working on it

Then we later cut to them while he's yelling that it isn't wrong, so. Er. I think Roy is messed-up in the head and is still not totally aware of just how messed-up that stuff is???
After diving into the lore, that reaction from the doll makes sense. The doll is possessed by the ghost of the exterminator guy from the previous episode. He used his job to "fulfil his needs," ie. a desire to kill things. He originally drew a line at harming actual people, so evidently he had some sense of morality before he was forced to go cold turkey for a year. Honestly, it's kinda sad. The dude had found a way to be a functioning member of society, despite his sickness, and tried getting a cat to kill specifically because he didn't want to harm the children. (A note in the chest reads "I can't kill them they're kids" written over and over again.)

The reason he knows it’s possessed might be because according to the QR code at 13:59 it shows messages from the happy fella talking about how pumps eyes change which could be a reference that pump might randomly be possessed by the stars monster from spooky month 2 so maybe the stars can see that the doll is possessed?
I think Skid's dad was associated with the scary stuff(because his outfit looked like a vampire in the torn painting). Skid probably got something from his dad and got used to the scary things.
If you think about it, There’s a lot of forshadowing in the drawing scene. Skid dress them being possessed which happens in the next episode. So that must mean the episode coming soon must be about what Pump draws. (Also I love how you’re bringing back characters from the old goofy episodes)
I love the way you're interconnecting random characters we've seen throughout the series, such as Pump's sister being the "What are you doing in my room?!" girl, and that one old man being his grandpa. I also appreciate the Tankmen reference. And to think this wonderful series started out as a one and a half minute animation several years ago.

I love how every "evil" character in the series has to do the dance at least once. Moloch and Bob Velseb did it in the first episode (with bob also doing it in the latest one), then eyes in the second, and now Dexter is also doing it. Such a neat little detail.

I love how full of personality this town is, and how even the background characters have a little bit of lore. But the best part is finding out the story of Skid and Pump's family and their dynamics. Lila being a single overworked mom who lost her partner for some reason. And Pump being neglected by his parents only to be raised by his cool but angsty streamer sister and his sleepy grandpa.

16:04 a very easy to miss easter egg is that in the previous episode if you pause at exactly the right moment you will see an actual rat in the background, and now we see a whole in the wall where the rat does live.

In the first episode when Lila was being threatened by that one guy in the demon outfit they have the exact same eyes and smile down to the three teeth. The reason it's probably Dexter is since 1. Happy Fella in the credits is listed as H. Fella (Dexter) and the voice actor (Metamaniac) voiced Dexter and in their pinned tweet they say "I had the absolute HONOR of returning as Dexter for @_SrPelo_'s Spooky Month 4" 2. H. Fella wanted Lila to get Skid a cat (most likely so they can kill it as revealed in the qr code.) and in unwanted guest Dexter said that they kill cats. Sorry for this whole paragraph but people have been saying that H. Fella is the killer even though he's probably a red herring.
It’s getting more and more to the point where Spooky Month could be an actual legit animated show.
I don’t know whether that excites me or terrifies me to my core so I think I’ll mark it as both and call it even.

I love how this town is reaching twin peaks or gravity falls levels of magic insanity, but it's slowly reaching that point both in story *and* in universe. Never seen a story where a town slowly transforms into this mysterious and spooky magical small town in the middle of nowhere, it always starts like that, so seeing the process is really fun.
We already have eldritch horror with mr stars, now new need alternative reality horror.
If Spooky Month ends up being the Gravity Falls of the 2020s I will be so goddamn happy
Yeah, that's a good point, actually. It started from a silly one-off video and wasn't originally meant to have its own lore and everything, but like you said, that kinda works to its advantage, making it even more fascinating to watch.
In a way, it kinda makes sense in-universe as well. Like, even though I know this isn't the reason, it kinda feels like we're getting introduced to this stuff slowly because Skid and Pump are pretty much only here to have fun and don't notice or think about the deeper meaning behind anything. So, as we the viewers follow them, it's up to us to notice these things and piece them together because the protagonists aren't doing it for us.
Spooky month could actually become a tv series if you think about that, i would have a lot of potencial, expecially if there was a even bigger team working on it

I feel like he backtracked on that one because in the previous ep, I think, he talked about his uncle taking him to that creepy abandoneed building and both bis bully friends backed off. Then we later cut to them while he's yelling that it isn't wrong, so. Er. I think Roy is messed-up in the head and is still not totally aware of just how messed-up that stuff is???
After diving into the lore, that reaction from the doll makes sense.
The doll is possessed by the ghost of the exterminator guy from the previous episode. He used his job to "fulfil his needs," ie. a desire to kill things. He originally drew a line at harming actual people, so evidently he had some sense of morality before he was forced to go cold turkey for a year.
Honestly, it's kinda sad. The dude had found a way to be a functioning member of society, despite his sickness, and tried getting a cat to kill specifically because he didn't want to harm the children. (A note in the chest reads "I can't kill them they're kids" written over and over again.)
