Also in the end of Unwanted Guest you can see the happy fella's eyes change from normal to Dexter's eyes, not long after he got possessed (Which is probably when he died, I'm pretty sure he was dead before the neck snap because the eye change happens before it)

Something I noticed rewatching the episodes, is that whenever they are in front of the antagonist, Pump's eyes turn the same color as the time he encountered Eyes for the first time, like implying that Pump has been permanently possesed and Eyes has been watching everything from his eyes
HOWEVER, for some reason that does NOT happen with the Happy Fella on this episode, making the Happy Fella an even more mysterious threat as it didn't trigger the Eyes of the Universe in Pump
happy fella is a soul in the happy fella doll so maybe it only implies to original antagonists not possesed ones
My theory is he can only detect paranormal entities related to the cult.

I find it so amusing and adorable how Skid and Pump are these incredibly stylized monster-type cartoon characters (wearing costumes, granted), while their families are just very ordinary looking people. The contrast is cute.

The reason he knows it’s possessed might be because according to the QR code at 13:59 it shows messages from the happy fella talking about how pumps eyes change which could be a reference that pump might randomly be possessed by the stars monster from spooky month 2 so maybe the stars can see that the doll is possessed?
I think Skid's dad was associated with the scary stuff(because his outfit looked like a vampire in the torn painting). Skid probably got something from his dad and got used to the scary things.

I’m excited that there’s actual story and character development happening in this series. Lila is becoming more stressed, Kevin is softening up to Skid and Pump, we get to see more of Pump’s family and know that his parents are neglectful, the bullies start to feel bad about picking on Skid and Pump and start to have conflict with Roy, and for the first time we see Skid and Pump express serious anger on somebody. And that true ending… I wonder what’s gonna happen next.

This episode was absolutely peak. It was pretty funny, all-encompassing of what Spooky Month is supposed to be about, and it parodied a horror doll tradition while keeping it both funny and realistic.

Dexter was going insane while inside the doll which caused him to feel an huge urge to kill someone, it's revealed in the code that it's inside the box where he was when Skid was looking for him,well he kinda deserve it since it's implied he killed cats before.
