- Aquarium Co-op Brine Shrimp Eggs Review! Todays video I test out Aquarium Co-op brine Shrimp eggs. They are said to be a 90% hatch rate. We will find out together if that's true. Any fish breeder knows that live food is the best for baby fry and Baby Brine shrimp is basically a super food. With many options out there is this another winning product for Aquarium Co-op?

Great review on these eggs. Purchased their eggs, hatchery, and sponge filter. Can't recommend them all enough!
Cory said that the metal lid is a second lid to keep the air out.
Yeah I could see how that could work but it's easier to keep it in it's ziplock bags it ships in rather than putting it in the tin. Easier to get the eggs out etc. I guess either way you do it works, thanks for watching👍🙂
Cory also said you can store fish food after the eggs are gone.
I was going to mention the metal lid... its alot easier to scoop from the can, however, cory had his in just the bag hidden in is Brine shrimp fridge so... lol
Those fish were Skiffia Multipunctata; the many spot skiffia. Lagodede Comecuaro, split fin, extinct in the wild. CARES fish! Good job guy.

Yeah from what I can tell it's about a 95% hatch rate. Highly recommend
I just got my first tin today. And I think the tin container is for initial storage & shipping.

I’ve bought my brine shrimp from brine shrimp direct, hatch rate isn’t that good, but I have a lot to use before I order eggs from the Co-Op.
But where do you get that piece that goes on the bottle for your airline and your drain line

I looking because my supplier has doubled it in price he says salt lake eggs but there are russian ones I just seen Chinese ones on eBay 8 quid for 100 grams package full of Chinese wrighting but says salt lake eggs so don't know

My hatch rate of 80 or 90% rate went to 0 in less than 3 months, maybe cause I didn’t store them in fridge after opening it

You said in the video that the sweet spot is two days. Yes almost all of the eggs will be hatched by then but you should stop by 36 hours. 8-12 hours after hatching they virtually have no nutrition and they also morph into a different stage which makes it highly likely baby fish will choke on them

Actually "Brine Shrimp Direct" has a 16oz of "Premium Grade" eggs with 90% hatch rate for $49.95. You would have to buy 4.5 cans from Aquarium Co-op for $89.80 to equal the 16oz. Is Cory's eggs for $39.85 more that much better? If you really want shell free you could buy "Shell Free E-Z" hatching eggs from Brine Shrimp Direct for $35.95 400ML container. Just thought I'd share.
Yeah I actually came to the same conclusion price wise and comparing Brine Shrimp Direct to Aquarium coop. never heard of the Shell free eggs that sounds like amazing. The Coop eggs definitely have a better hatch rate than 90% so that could justify the higher cost but with that said I'll probably be going for the 90% brine shrimp direct eggs just for the savings.
As wel as you use Brine shrimp Eggs==>use from Salt lake or from state Utah.(not chineese). Use care you to buy Brine shrimp eggs in a tin (metal) container (original = 15 Oz. or 454 grams. OR GLAS or sealed containers. DO NOT plastic bags or zip bags. in plastic containers the transport shake it up : result the eggs get too much (by shaking) ==>static electricity, it kills the eggs. It is possible that Brine Shrimp Direct = ok, or like Ocean Nutrition. As long they are in a metal can. I do not trust other containers.
Dude your eggs are taking 24 plus bc of your temp. You can hatch them in 16 hrs at temps of 82 ^
