I've been a loyal customer here since they opened (and known Cory for years through our local fish club). I love seeing it through fresh eyes. We really are spoiled having such a quality store close by. I can't wait to see the expansion! You'll just have to come back and visit again👍
This video should be retitled, "My tour of Aquarium Co-op store". Having said that, on my most recent trip i was struck by how clean all the tanks were, the amazingly helpful staff (felt like i had a concierge) and the low pricing on wood. Can't wait for the expansion to open! Well worth the 2.5 hours of travel time.
I actually wasn't planning on doing a tour video, so I didn't take important footage, like of the front of the store and a pan of the entire interior. 😅 Once they finish renovations, I hope to travel back and do an "official" tour of everything!
Awesome that you finally made it to the retail Aquarium Co-op! Thanks for the review as anyone might do. Must be gratifying that the store exceeded the high standards you'd come to expect working for Aquarium Co-op. I'm a senior in Canada and will never visit the store so this is a nice treat to watch.
As a local to the store, it's so incredibly organized, and the employees are insanely knowledgeable...can't wait to visit again once the expansion is complete!
Thanks for this tour, Irene! BUT, when you were showing around the checkout area where the 'Oddball" fish were, there was a brief shot of a white fish with black spots. Can you please, please tell me what that fish was?
I got my first 4 Bettas, they are female Copper Kori plakets. They were breed and kept together, so I was able to put them in my 10 gl w teen guppies. Thanks for all the tips! 😊
Very nice aquarium store! I have purchased quite a few products from Aquarium Co-op. Plants, Easy Green, Test strips, sponge filters, and nano air pumps. All have worked well for me. Gina
I believe it was Pogostemon stellatus 'octopus' - great stem plant, especially if you're breeding fish. www.aquariumcoop.com/products/pogostemon-stellatus-octopus
Interesting Store review, Aquarium Co-Op looks like a pretty good fish store. Just one thing I noticed at 5:33 2.3 Gallons are 8.7 liters not 3.8 liters.
Hi, i see you a big fan of nano fish and thats what my 55 gallon tank is. For some reason my gold barbs are so aggressive, they even feast on my small panda corys 😔. Is this normal?
I have a 20 gallon betta fish tank and wanted to add some tankmates but don't know if it will too crowded. I was thinking of adding 4 mystery snails, 4 corydora catfish, 5 cherry shrimp and 12 neon tetras. Is that too much for one 20 gallon tank? If so, what amounts of each fish should I add instead?
I love your videos but can not get on board since you work for them. I was actually shocked to find out that you worked for them yet had never been there. How can you support them yet not know anything about them? Maybe I am missing something.
I have a ton of Albino Cory Catfish in my tank. Anyone want some? They kept breeding and now I have 18 extra I don't want to have to Euthanize them because it's over crowded in my tank now and no one I know wants them

Done
This is why I became a fan of Aquarium Coop after Cory came to speak to our club. He understands retail and fish care. And it really shows!

I plan to! Hopefully once the expansion is done. 😁
Can't believe it is your first time visiting the retail store. Cheers Irene

It seems like a great store. I wish I had something like this near me. Thanks for the video.
I love aquarium co-op. Their videos and products. Visiting the actual store would be amazing. Great video👍
I love that each of the betta fish has their own little hotel instead of a tiny cup
Yes! That's part of their amazing commitment to humane care of all their critters!

I believe they're clouded archerfish (Toxotes blythii). So beautiful!
This is why I have been purchasing from Aquarium coop because I have learned so many things about fish 🐠 and they products are so good 😂
Nice tour and picture with Murphy. I would love to have a pic with him too!
Omg this is a truly amazing fish store
I loooved it. Especially since I mainly keep nano fish in planted tanks anyway.
AMAZING FISH STORE ❤
Murphy is so much bigger than I thought he was lol
Wow! I'd love to visit! :D Shame its on the other side of the country...
Cool tour

Nice review of Aquarium Co op,Cory should give yoh a pay rise !
Lol, I should have specified that this was definitely not a paid review. I honestly was that impressed and happy by the whole visit.
Can't wait to visit the store...whats the plant on the thumbnail? Thanks

@@GirlTalksFish thank you, just getting into plants and love how it looks.
Love NSYNC!! 2.3 gallons = 8.7 litres 😅

I wish I lived in the states so I could visit. Maybe one day...

Whoops, I definitely did not double-check the math! Thanks for the catch.
Can we have gold fish in out door Koi pond almost the same size?
I wish i lived there in that town. My town has nothing
One day I will come visit the store and road trip back home with a suitcase full of stuff. Most definitely a goal to visit as well!
Whats the dark spotted fish at 1:59?
I want to visit this fish store!
It's so worth it! I had an absolute blast, even though I didn't even walk away with anything.
very cool.
Which department of aquarium co op do you work for if you’ve never visited the store? I don’t understand
Hi, i see you a big fan of nano fish and thats what my 55 gallon tank is. For some reason my gold barbs are so aggressive, they even feast on my small panda corys 😔. Is this normal?
Yeah, sounds like anything they can fit into their mouths is fair game to them. 😓
@GirlTalksFish i just lost 3 or them. Whats the best way to get rid of unwanted fish? I have 6 of those gold barbs.
5:25 what fish are they? B&W heartin shape
I believe they're clouded archerfish (Toxotes blythii). So beautiful!
@@GirlTalksFish gotcha ❤️ . Thanks
Can i keep only 1 flame red dwarf gourami in 25 gallon planted tank and no other fish?
Sure thing!
TÜRKÇE ALT YAZI Koyduğun için çok teşekkürler.

You are the most colorful fish in the TH-cam aquarium.
Saltwater fish more colorful though
love you irene
You sure do make America Aquatic shops sound crappie. What about partner shops.
Went all the way there from South Africa to find out they don't take cash😢
I love your videos but can not get on board since you work for them. I was actually shocked to find out that you worked for them yet had never been there. How can you support them yet not know anything about them? Maybe I am missing something.

When is an aquarium Coop store going to be opened on the East coast?
I have a ton of Albino Cory Catfish in my tank. Anyone want some?
They kept breeding and now I have 18 extra
I don't want to have to Euthanize them because it's over crowded in my tank now and no one I know wants them
