- ☀️ WELCOME! ☀️ Is your LAYER CAKE 🍰 stash out of control??? Mine is and it's time to make some quilts! I'm so excited to share this tutorial. The baby sized quilt top took a total of only ❗️ 1 HOUR 47 MINUTES! ❗️ start to finish. A fast, easy, beginner-friendly way to get some LAYER CAKES moved on to their next life. FABRIC USED: 1) Adalee - Monotone Floral Layer Cake 42/pkg. by Chelsea Designworks for Studio E; 2) Free Spirit - Kaffe Fassett Collective Black and White Ten Inch Squares charm pack. MEASUREMENTS: You will need 24 ten-inch squares. I used 12 from my b&w pack and 12 from my color pack. From each square cut: two 2" x 9" strip; two 2" x 6" strip; one 6"x6" square. Reassemble as you like! Make it scrappy, make it your own!
