    This method works for the speedometer too, it's actually easier with that because the pins are larger and there is more solder on them

    Sorry but i did not understand from video what you were saying. Did you solder every pin there? Have you put new solder or just heat the old one to stick it back to pins?

    I’ve got a Type S - practically the same as this, same issue. Only problem for me, is that I bought the car with a new radio installed.. so I’m guessing it’ll be stuck in 2008?😅

    Where are you based Bob? I’m in Glasgow and also have a Milano Red/Pink FN2 with a similar problem as well as a digital speedo problem. May pick your brains or see you in person if you were nearby. Cheers.

    So simply whack some hot glue along the bottom of all the solders??
