    Regarding the shpr3d application, does it have a free version with no time limit, and is it possible to draw sketches of furniture for woodworking? Does the free version have all the commands as in the paid version?
    Do you have any basic tutorial videos on using it?

    I make products in wood, using fusion 360 but I’m not happy with the performance as I find it sluggish and often awkward. Just downloaded Shapr for IPad and the way you use it it looks just very swift and intuitive, if I can use it like that it’s a switch for me!

    • @BevelishCreations
      @BevelishCreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do that manually, but I never account for saw kerf in my diagrams. I know as long as I leave a large enough uncut material on the ends, I’ll have enough material. and I cut the pieces out as I build instead of cutting everything out at the beginning and then build

    • @BevelishCreations

      There isn’t an automatic way to do that right now. I usually do it manually, which I actually prefer

  • @Sadge23
    @Sadge23 ปีที่แล้ว

    I appreciate your videos, and have bought an iPad Pro and Sharp3D based on your recommendations. As I'm trying to learn the software (I mainly use/used Autodesk Fusion 360 on the PC), I've followed along your video here, but I've run into an issue. It's obvious that the program has been updated since this video (which is to be expected) and somethings in the video are not done exactly as shown (but close enough to figure out). However, I'm stuck replicating the box joints @16:41. I am able to select and "copy/move" them, but they seem to be "attached" to the edge of the front face of the board, creating a chamfer as I drag them to the other side. I've tried selecting the lines manually (to exclude the outside edge of the piece), but I cannot seem to copy these lines properly. I was able to replicate everything in the video before this, but I'm stuck here. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.
