I’ve been crocheting since I was 12. I haven’t been able to get a handle on knitting, no matter how bad I wanted to all the tutorials in the world seem to go way too fast for me in two minutes of your tutorial. It clicked in my brain and I’m now knitting a scarf, I’ve only been trying to learn how to knit for the better part of a decade😂 thank you
The gifts keep coming!! Thank you! I made the swatch with you yesterday and I’m so happy to say I DID IT! You’re a great teacher, it finally made sense to me. Can’t wait to follow along again today ❤
lol I injured my right hand bad and some how laying in bed I found you! No never knit or crocheted ever but here I am obsessively binging your videos the last two days I can’t wait till I can try to crochet
Yeeeessssss, I tried to learn to knit from other TH-cam videos, but for some reason you're the only person who can teach me anything. So I'm excited to pick up my needles again and follow along with you
i saw your tutorial yesterday because i want to start knitting but it looks so difficult and i am too afraid. I'm addicted to crochet idk if i need another addiction lol. But i want to give it a try so i am gonna buy some needles soon !! thanks a lot for the tutorials, never had begin to think about knitting if it wasn't you the teacher
Just finished the knit video and am now on to purl so I can 1x1 rib knit ❤️😁 thank you soo much for your tutorials on both knit and crochet Kelsie!! I hope you're enjoying your break after vlogmas and I hope you and Cesar have a happy new year 🎉
I’d love to see you do some tutorials you already have but in larger sizes! ❤ I think you’re amazing! Thank you for showing me the ropes on crocheting.
Hi, i have been crocheing for 1 year now, and i am 11, so i also do schoolwork. My hands get really tired and start to really hurt, so do you have any ideas that can make my hands less painful from 6 hours of school,😢😢😢😢 3 hours of homework,😢😢and 3 hours of crocheting 😊😊😊😊 BTW i love your videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey! I relate to you because a couple years ago I was also 11 and loved crocheting! Still do! I would recommend doin some hand exercises, such as taking breaks, stretching your hands and fingers. In school I recommend to use proper ergonomics when writing or typing.
Hey! :) I’ve been crocheting for 20/21 years. Best thing you can do is one: wear braces when you crochet. It will offer some support that you may be missing. And 2) take intermittent breaks. I have adhd, so When I crochet I have a routine “. Read a page from a book do (x number) stitches.” Where x varies depending on the project I do! :) it gives your hands break in between and you complete two tasks at once!
In your chunky knit beanie tutorial, you did the purls by putting the yarn in between the two sticks and pulling it forward and then pulling it through. Was that because you were working in the round? You also did an “eastern, European purl” but I ignored that one for now lol
So I don't know where I went wrong when I originally learned to "knit". I always keep my needles in the same hand and somehow pull off the loom of this stitch. I'll definitely have to try it the correct way 🤣
Hi passionknit kelsie so its really hard to make it with the back of the crohet hook because i live in belguim and i ask my mom for go to the store but she said no im asking every day and she still saying no so its really hard so yeah sad😢😢😢😢
i was taught to cast on use both needles like how you do a basic knit but instead of taking it of the needle you transfer it into the first needle to make the stitches/ to cast on am i the only one who does this
The first video was really helpful, but this one is really confusing for me, maybe if it DONT have a double patron would be more easier for a beginner.
Cool do more purl stiches again. I am a stundent in year seven and i havent getvit that much.EVERY ONE SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE VIDEOS.plz like my comments🎉❤

That is a modification that I personally like to do, since this is a beginner tutorial I taught the traditional way
@@PassioKnitKelsie so all three of those ways will get you the same result?
I already know how to knit, but I just love your videos lol
Blessings and crochet 🧶👋🏾 awesome 👍🏾 thank you

Part 3 pls

I absolutely hate this stitch. I cannot get the hang of it for some reason, I think it has something to do with the way I hold the needles
I am both glad that i am not the only one but not glad that you are struggling too

The thumbnail doesnt look like a purl stitch
It’s not, it’s stockinette which requires and purl stitch and the knit stitch. Which is also why it’s tutorial #2
