Dang, that's a long wait for those bottles. Worth it for you bc of 2 spots in line and her going back through. It's a part of the game though. I went to a grand reopening a few days ago and got there at 5 am and got a CYPB and Old fitz 10 being 80th in line. People that showed up at opening time were still getting stagg , weller 12 , FP and blantons gold store pics. They had a great supply
North Carolina. They do events called barellpalooza every couple months and they are always loaded. Problem is they only give a couple days notice to try and cut out travel time and plans for out of staters to hit it. A guy from Milwaukee was first anyway and got the double eagle rare lol. People that got the pappys , btac and birthday bourbons camped out over 24 hours. It's a gift and curse in NC. Allocated is more rare but will always be at msrp. I live along the border of NC and SC and they have 2 totally different laws on alcohol
@@anthonyboyles2700 That's awesome, it sounds very similar to these Kroger drops. They normally announce them 2 or 3 days before hand. This is Todd responding, but if you check out our July bottle haul Devin got a double eagle.
@@anthonyboyles2700 It depends where in KY. If you are looking to get bottles at distilleries check out our video here th-cam.com/video/3FCMDotNATs/w-d-xo.html If you mean liquor stores let me know which are of KY
They post a big sign that lists bottles.. If you watch our first Kroger video (1st video we ever did) you will see the kind of sign they put out th-cam.com/video/l48G8WLSREk/w-d-xo.html
The Krogers generally announce these themselves on Facebook. I hear about it in line when I tater up through the week in Ohio from the real psychos who drive down there like 10 times a month. They'll post what bottles will be available, the structure of how they'll do it, when to get there, when to not be there early etc.
My nephew and I watch your vids and are from N KY. We would love to join you for your next hunt or event like this!
Maybe we can work something out to hit a store or two when we are down. Email us at whiskeysippers2024@gmail.com.

I plan on making a trip to Kentucky soon. Any recommendations? I know they mark up a lot there as well other than distilleries

What number did you get. It was crazy how many people showed up
Did they post a paper list of bottles at the door? Is the list online?

how do you find out about a KROGER drop?
I normally see someone post about them on reddit or facebook.
How do you know when they are going to do this? Is it at every Kroger liquor?
I have only seen it at Northern Kentucky krogers. I normally see someone talking about it on reddit that's how I find out.

I thought I saw you! You were standing right next to me and a buddy!
Should have said something! I realized when I got down there I didn't pack a Whiskey Sipper shirt lol.
You Kroger is way better than mine here in Central Illinois. I assume you got your bottles at MSRP.
Yes all of the bottles are sold at or very near msrp at Kroger in KY.
There's WAY more ppl. than btls available !!😢 gotta figure this 😬anyway--
