Nice you saw the new Booker’s and Little Book. Hope to find them close to MSRP. Like the Hardin’s Creek sample. Good price on that. There was also the Angels Envy Book Collection, but that may have been pricey. Have Augusta 8 you can try. Have the 10 year too. That 17 year is nuts.
The rickhouse proof bourbon for 76$ is a deal. The regular bourbon goes for 60$ often, as well as the SRW. I could see paying 100$ for a rickhouse proof SRW also.
Anything over 100 nowadays is a pass unless it is really something I want and it still has to be under 150. This store has some serious bottles that would make me blow my budget for the year maybe two in like 3 minutes. They don't have a cart big enough. Maybe three carts would do it. Hate on the Dickle come on!! There was rumors about OGD going away but it was Old Tub that is now gone at least from my area. Shame it wasn't to bad.
They had some decent prices but the stuff behind and on the counter was a joke and ruined that place for me. The Good Spirits stores can be hard to deal with and down right rip offs but if you've never seen some of the more talked about bottles in person and want to check them out, these places have them. They are all part of a network of owners who have the Good Spirits, Bluegrass Liquor and Antones. Sometimes you can find a deal and other times you just want to laugh in their faces. Lol.
Nice looking store!
Excited for your Old Dominick pick🙌

Better prices than GS/AMPM here !
Those HH GTG prices are insane. Sitting on the shelf at the distillery for much cheaper.
The GTG was out of whack for sure.
I think that was a store pick of the Sazerac you glossed over...but looks like a solid store!
I'll have to rewatch, but we have grabbed a saz pick from there in the past
Alot of good ones and Alot of expensive MGP sourced stuff 🤔😖 Good video 👍 Cheers 🥃
Great selection, but the prices are up there! When In saw the Russell's SP for $90 I knew it was going to be off.🥃
@@kutlasshighproof 90 is average price for Russell’s private barrels in ky
@@Whiskey_Sippers Oh wow! I usually see it for 70 to 75.
I got a caribou crossing at the Burlington store for 65. Weird.
I've got the Three Kings 15 Stars which is good.
Those are some of the bottles I look at but don't want to buy until I try
Good selection , but still a bit pricey .
expensive vs CA prices
From pictures I have seen CA gets a ton of allocated distribution to their big box stores
Looked decent till you got to the allocated stuff and come on Soft Red Wheat for 99 thats crazy.
@@StevenScone yeah it should have been the same price as the rickhouse bourbon

@@umami0247 yeah seems the OGD was a rumor. That store does have a good selection some markups are typical but some are to much

@@mrgood1cor13 i have picked up a few bottles at msrp there. 1792 12 year, Penelope toasted
Asking secondary prices as a provider of libations. Shame on Kentucky Alcohol Division.
