COW vs. GOAT vs. SHEEP MILK: WHICH ONE'S THE BEST?

  • If you had to ditch dairy due to lactose intolerance, this video might make you want to reevaluate. Sometimes, it is not about the dairy and more about the source and how it is processed. In this video, I had the opportunity to visit Whispering Pines Farm in Seneca, South Carolina, where I learned the differences between cow, goat and sheep’s milk (yes, sheep!). Plus, I learned all the health benefits of sheep's milk... simply amazing!
HUGE THANK YOU to Debbie Webster (owner of Whispering Pines Farm) and Carly Black for allowing me to come visit and learn from them.

As someone with an autoimmune disorder, I appreciate you teaching people about the benefits of sheep milk, goat's milk, and kefir. Bless you! I would pay anything for sheep milk and kefir if my children had inherited my affliction. ❤

Goats and sheep are my fave farm animals because of same reason, they are mentioned many times in the bible. And seeing them together in this video is so blissful.

I recently discovered sheep’s milk in the grocery aisle and I have to say it’s awesome. Very easy to digest.

LOVING this video, gonna check out their website. I want to have a sheep & goat farm. American Homestead had a video explaining why they started pasturizing. Apparently, I think during the Industrial Revolution, they wanted fresh milk in the city for the workers, so they started trying to raise cows in the city under horrible conditions and non-natural diets, and the milk had issues, hence pasturization (which kills off a lot of the good stuff that you want, and raw milk will actually kill bad bacteria as I've heard, just make sure it's cleanly collected).

@@elijahsanders1891 Yes, and when we are consuming products that are void of nutrients, it causes the body to search for them. The pasteurization process kills the enzymes and a lot of the nutrients; therefore, it will pull from its own sources causing nutritional deficiencies. This is why raw (or low temp. pasteurized) is very important. Thank you for commenting and sharing this information. 😊

What they say about pasteurization is so true! Great video! Oh, and lamb and goat meat taste delicious, btw.

Love this! Didn't knwo there was such a farm in Seneca. I am a bit of a sheep milk feta snob. I grew up in Canada on real sheep/goat feta and didn't have the cow feta until I moved here. Boy is is different. I say sheep cheese is a little tangy. I would love to tast the other products they have there!

Anyone know if this milk is safe to drink for someone with Alpha Gal Syndrome? My daughter has it and is allergic to red meat and therefore cannot have dairy(cow or goat)

I'm sure it's great for you but when I was a kid I maintained a hundred head of sheep and man they stunk and ever since then anything I eat or drink that's of the sheep I can smell that in the milk and in the cheeses.
