When just starting to learn nose grinds, and you actually grind for a bit. It always counts. Cause you have to start somewhere. It's not an organized sport, and you maybe be out there alone learning them like me. It counts cause you are building your balance and muscle memory. Learning something new is not a waste of energy. If you are balancing that nose grind and getting some grind. At this stage it counts. You want to feel encouraged about your progression, have fun with the desire to keep at it. In this vid I just started learning them. Trying switch nose grinds and manuals too In the Canadian cold 🇨🇦. th-cam.com/video/b293YQnDdzQ/w-d-xo.html
Nah facts I feel like if u first learning and you tap nose it shouldn’t matter since you getting used to it plus pros do it too so I don’t see a problem wit it fr cuz 5-0s bet gettin dragged all da time
i really like you explaining skate videos. . asked a guy how to smith grind and he asked me if i know how to tail slide and lip slide . like pretty much saying i need to know those tricks to do smith grind . lmao ik he was just making me feel like shit
Still not sure why you can’t fs nosegrind dragging the nose without going to the over room position? I can do both overcrook and drag the nose in the same position as when I balance them. They’re definitely all different tricks. Just because a trick is easy doesn’t mean it isn’t a trick lol is a shuv it not a different trick then a pop shuv it? Ones definitely exponentially easier but it’s still its own trick. Some people don’t naturally turn into overcrook when they frontside nose grind and just because some people do when they do on a round rail doesn’t mean it just becomes a nosegrind lol that’s like saying we’ll sense most people can’t do it proper because we aren’t good enough we’re just going to pretend it goes like this instead now 😅 it’s like hate keeping a trick instead of putting the time in to do it correctly. It’s possible. TRUST 🤌🏽😏 just makes it a much more amazing trick when done properly 🤪 can you balance a backside nosegrind on a round bar or does it just not exist because there’s no frontside nosegrind 🤷🏽♂️ and there’s only a backside overcrook. There’s either both or none. PERIOD blood 🩸 😈🤙🏽💪🏽✊🏽🤘🏽😉 🎤 drop 💁🏽♂️💩👖
i actually watched this vid like 7-8 months back and it gave me the idea of learning front nose grind bc everybody can agree nose grinds of any sort are scary asf
frontside overcrooks exist i dont get you meme lords acting like they don't. even the fact that you said "overcrook-y" as a description means you acknowledge them.
They exist people just think thrasher is the holy bible of skating so if they don’t acknowledge the trick then they must not exist. It’s honestly really dumb.
it’s because overcrooks are way easier to do and people like to say they can overcrook because it’s in theory a harder trick but in reality it’s not. 9/10 times a nose grind attempt will go into overcrook on a round bar, that’s mainly why they apparently don’t exist. makes complete sense once you start doing them for yourself
That counts as "Waste of effort" !! Dan's hilarious
I love how in-depth this is and covers different scenarios. Most trick tips are like "pop and land into a nose manual, balance and land".
Dan's way of explaining is so great! Good job keen ramps, please keep these coming!
Another easy to understand, detailed, well paced tutorial. Keep em coming
These vids make me really happy, built a slappy rail yesterday 🤙 keep these vids coming! ✌️
I’m building a mini ramp soon!!!
Just the video I needed!!! Thanks guys 🔥🔥
MAD RESPECT FOR SHOWING HOW TO BAIL OUT - I appreciate that ish so much! - Can't wait to work on this thanks Dan.
Do a tutorial on nose bonks please!
Easy af bro, kinda scary, just nose Manuel on whatever you want to bonk
Does your nose actually bonk the ledge or is it just the front truck?
perfect. I have 50-50 on lock, nose manny on lock. i love to nollie 50-50 so maby i can nollie nose grind once i get the hang of it

The 5050 tip actually helped ALOT!

Garret ginner has proven that nose grind and overcrook are possible on a flat rail
th-cam.com/video/WsKHSj411Hs/w-d-xo.html 8:50 to 9:30
He clearly does both fs overcrook and fs nosegrind on a rail
you have to soak up the impact with your knees to hold the balance on the nose
ey bro! where is the video of board to switchnosegrind? saludos desde mexico!
“What’s going on my name is Can Dorrigan”
but for real, this is helpful. luh you dan
ollie on and nose manual on the ledge edge
could you make vid how to bs tailslide? always big thank you for tricks tip🙏🏻
Cheers mate

Cool Video probs from Germany

bruh only ledge i have available is a tiny one without it ending it just goes into a wall so i have to somehow pop out early lmao
Me: Ahhh
The kids on the towel: 1:50
okay what if theres not a ledge that has an ending? how do i early pop out
Whats the dimensions of that box? Would like to build a box with round coping and wall ride.
No idea, but I just like everything Dan posts on TH-cam anyway.
.
Nose grind and 5-0 done proper does not contain tail or nose scrape. different tricks
Dan my man.. I can´t nosemanny for shit, and my 5050s suck, but the balanced nosegrind is easier than both of those for me.. how so?
Do fakie fs tailsslides
Can't nose Manuel but I can nose grind
I want. that box.
Lol hilarious “a trick I don’t see a lot of tutorials for” even tho Dale just did one on ccs we all know Dan got better nose grinds anyway 🤣
I can’t nose manual to save my life.
👍👍👍👏👏🔥
Overcrook is a trick in its own, especially on a rail, its like 5-0 vs salad, slight difference, but they're IS a difference
Dan Corrigan welcome to REViVE! Who would have thought? Big TH-camr moves
I thought Dales NoseGrind tutorial was good until I saw this
🇧🇷
FS overcrooks don’t exist, period.
Look at Garrett ginners channel
They do. We aren’t skating in the 90s anymore. Shits evolved.
