Everything in moderation. The suggestion regarding relationship moderation was surprising but makes total sense. We need people in our lives to be supportive, versus being negative and toxic. Mahalo.

@@RetireandGo Talking about stress, I got something to tell you. I noticed that many of your videos were around KLCC, it reminded me a lot of my previous working experience with the KLCC project, and, regretfully, it also reminded me of my mistake leaving KLCC trying to pursue new horizon. I left KLCC at the wrong time, the start of Asian crisis, couldn't get a replacement job and a steady income, leading to my first depression. After 4 years, I joined MIDA hoping for a posting to Europe but I was sent to Mumbai instead, and after 3 years in the polluted chaotic city, I came back to KL with a second depression, forced myself to retire early with a tiny little petit pension. Should I have stayed in KLCC, I would earn nothing less than RM10K (@ USD2K) monthly, instead now I have to tighten all my monthly budget to RM500 (@ USD100) monthly, crazy. I learned a lot from my past mistakes and I learned about living in basic necessities, the hard way. Hope it's alright that I'm sharing my story with you. There are quite a lot to learn from your videos. 😀

The only alcohol I like is occasionally half a Singha 🇹🇭 🍺 or a small 3 oz glass of Japanese plum wine 🍷. The key to alcohol is to have very small amounts of it, maximum once a week, and never more than one serving ever.

I take everything in moderation, especially moderation itself!
Lots of folks these days, ranging from bodybuilders to mental health professionals, talk about the 80/20 rule to keeping our desires and habits under control without suffering knee-jerk reactions or mental fatigue. Eat 80% of your meals super healthy, then splurge on your naughty vices 20% of the time. We aren't programmed to always be strict with ourselves, but being "mostly good" is really beneficial. (In fact, lots of studies have come out showing strong and humorous correlations between being unyielding in one area of life and "cheating" in another. For instance, there was one a few years back that showed women who were on a strict diet were 9x more likely to cheat on their boyfriends.)
    Moderation in moderation, folks!

@@RetireandGo Not all carbs are the same. Complex carbs are extremely healthy, meaning vegetables, especially richly colored vegetables, such as dark green leafy ones, plus sweet potatoes, and fruit. I eat one huge salad a day, filled with veggies, black beans(protein), sweet cherry tomatoes, sweet corn , salsa, a bit of avocado, quinoa(protein) with a homemade spicy ranch or other tasty salads… For breakfast: Oatmeal daily with Ceylon Cinnamon, wild blueberries, plus other fruit and soy milk. All organic. Most cancers and all heart disease are caused by animal products. I follow many older cardiac surgeons, Dr. Caldwell, Dr. Esseltyn and other doctors that eat whole foods, plant-based food, such as T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Greger. They have all found out that this diet can prevent heart disease and stoke, and when they’ve switched their patients that have high cholesterol or heart disease to this way of eating, it’s lowered their cholesterol and many times reversed heart disease. One more thing, please stay away from fried or oily foods as much as possible. By the way, I’m 70 and healthy. 🌺 You may be interested in reading about the Blue Zones of the world. Locally, soursop is known as "Durian Belanda", literally means The Dutch Durian. I don't know why the locals call them that, but well.. the Dutch were not the favorite colonial masters those days.. Probably the soursop looks like a defective durian (😂😂).. and we also have terms such as Dutch-wife (I believe it's the bolster), Dutch-treat (I pay mine, you pay yours), and many more.

@RetireandGo Thank you! Likewise, best of all wishes and good vibes to you. It is very interesting what's going on right now in the global economy. So far, from what I see, the Malaysian government has done a marvelous job mitigating to the economic challenges that have impacted all nations around the world. They demonstrated to me some really smart moves! Their economic model should be studied throughout the world. I'm not sure if the Malaysians realized how excellent of a job the government has done for them in respect to their economy facing global economic challenges. However, just like every nation around the world, they still need to increase their productivity through a plethora of carefully-thought-of mechanisms. It seems they are already driven for this change, for example, through their development around the AI industry, which I think is one of the best moves to make right now. Anyway, I'll stop right here before I start writing a book... Stay safe, my friend, and happy trading!
