As a Malaysian..i wanted to say that, if there's an unfriendly Malaysian or someone who's kinda awkward, they're probably just shy. For example, Malaysian like me. I have seen exchange students at my university, and i wanted to befriend them, but I'm just too shy 😭. I hope they don't think that I'm not friendly. Anyway, you guys and other foreigner are welcome to stay as long as you want !

Happy to know that you enjoyed your time in Malaysia and want to go back in MY. I spend 6 years in Malaysia and travelled every corner and tourist places in there. It's definitely a nice country to travel. In terms of food, culture, wildlife, sea beaches, mountains, transportation, scenic beauty, adventure, security systems, ...... Malaysia rocks. As compared to other SEA region (Philippine, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei), Malaysia is the best and awesome.
This is such a great list! Been really enjoying your Malaysia recap and realization videos. We always appreciated having the sink nearby, especially when eating with our fingers.
This has to be one of the best presented overviews of Malaysia - succinct and on point. I've enjoyed all your videos and look forward to more of your adventures. Take care, stay safe. Tq

Just to share a couple of tips: 1) Another Supermarket (s) is B.I.G (Ben's Independent grocer) or Village Grocer - they carry a lot of imported stuff as well. With that being said, it all depends on where one is located. 2) Generally bargaining isn't common, however do that while in Chinatown, KL. 3) Online shopping : A different one locally is Zalora. Speaking of holidays, today is Vesak day here :-) Cheers from Malaysia, wishing all of you well, safe and happy!
1. Basically any supermarket end with "grocer" you know it is a higher end place haha 2. Unless the price is clearly stated, then yes please bargain to your heart content. 3. zalora is only for fashion market.

Pedestrian in Malaysia has the right of way only at the designated crossing area. But at other locations, depends on the road category & location, drivers will slowdown or stop to give a way to pedestrians.
Can't trust drivers these days. They are not looking at the road. They are looking at their phones. Not safe to cross. You have to really see if the driver in the car is watching the road before you attempt to cross.

#34 - Malaysia uses both type G and type C, as some appliances are imported directly from those meant for European markets. Adapters are required for wall sockets, but extension cords usually come with built in two pin support. May I add some more? *Most Malaysians understand and/or speak English. *Malaysia has vast verities of food and share common verities of other countries too. *Do you know that? Americans, Australians, New Zealanders, and Europeans are commonly called "Mat Saleh" in Malaysia as what is called "Bule" in Indonesia? *In Malaysia, to be considered you're a polite person; 1.Don't show somebody (elder) a direction using your forefinger. The most polite way is by using your thumb. Same, while you are doing presentations. But, it's okay by using an artificial pointer. 2.When serving or passing something to someone (elder), don't handle it with your left hand. Handle it with your right hand. 3. When speaking to someone whom you don't know, you can use the word, "Tuan" or "Encik" (for male) or "Puan" or "Cik" (for female). Don't ever use the word "Kamu" which means "you" in English. It's considered rude. "Kamu" should only be used to the younger person only. 4. To say "Hello" is considered rude when presenting yourself. The best way is by using "Selamat pagi" (Good morning) or "Selamat petang" (Good evening) and followed by "Apa kabar?". 5.Never fart, cough, blurp, whistle, or yawn in front of your guests. 6.Don't litter, piss, making love, or acting wild in public. 7.Give a little bow to your guests if you intend to leave your seat. 8.Sounds of car horns are rare in Malaysia. The sweet things mostly happen is that people give "thank you" or "bye-bye" signals by punching "double horns" to other drivers or a "single horn" to say "sorry" or "okay" and if you see an oncoming car, double lifting headlights, it is the signal of telling "there is a police roadblock ahead", not kidding bro, hahahaha........
