I can believe it. That happened to me in my Prius Prime before I figured out how to get the heads up display to work. It handles so smoothly and quietly that you don't get the sense of speed from it. It takes some getting used to. :)

Had my NX300 for 2 years and I love it. Solid, comfortable, decent power, quiet and reliable. I'd purchase another in a heartbeat.

@@3mr136 New ones are just as good. Toyota/Lexus integrates new features at a much slower rate when compared to other manufactures. This gives them time to do their homework and test to ensure that the new components will be reliable. They may not be on the bleeding edge of technology however, their products are rock solid.

I bought a 2019 NX 300 with no AWD! I get awesome gas milage. Bought mine for $36,000 with taxes and fees.
You’ll pay more for a German equivalent and the Lexus will last 20+ years

@@tcrailfan15 what do usually get on the hwy? I am getting 22mpg on hwy at 80mph in my 09 RX350 AWD. Another question is does your Highlander require 91+ octane like my RX does even though it is the same exact engine?
@@glennnichols4220 nope. I run 88 octane in my Highlander. I usually get 23-25 on the highway depending on road and weather conditions.

I've been taking a few longer trips lately in my 2017 Lexus ES 300h (Hybrid.) I was going 80mph lots of the drive, with the family, dog, and luggage, and I still got OVER 40 mpg. Insane! It even runs on regular gas and is a very comfortable and roomy ride. Thinking of getting a GX 460 soon though, so I can say goodbye to THAT kind of gas mileage!

Lovely car - because of the price of gas at the moment in the US - nobody much cares about MPG at the moment- In Europe it's a different story though as fuel is nearly 3 times more expensive, so I'll stick with my Mazda hatchback.
They are press cars you get them for a week its no different from how recline reviews or Alex on autos gets cars to reviews it comes from the manufacturer

I work at a Lexus dealer and of all the Lexus vehicles, NX is my favorite! It’s nice and small but has the best build, it wont frequent you to workshop for warranty claims!

Give it time Scotty. My brand new RAV4 got about 20MPG when I first got it. Now after 15K miles I've gotten up to 39MPG driving the 65MPH speed limit to and from work.
You must be doing something right, Scotty. You're getting 5 to 10,000 subscribers per day! Greetings from Dallas. I gave up on Nissan when my 2014 versa note manual transmission went out at 90k. It also had an internal oil leak that clogged my catalytic converter. I'm the proud owner of a 2017 RAV4 now. My wife's 2014 RAV4 has had one repair which I did myself - an alternator!
Just bought a non F Sport 2020 NX. Love it! Factory guy so I got a killer deal on it too. Wife thinks it’s a dream to drive.

Hi Scottie, I bought a white pearl 2016 NX 200T, it's almost 5 yrs old in Oct, it has only 5, 700 miles on it, we don't dive it much, wife uses it, BUT
what a great car this is, plenty of power for us, drives fantastic, can't find 1 defect any where on it, I detailed cars for 50 years, so I have seen and
touched every
part of the car, love the interior dash lights at night, looks like a fighter jet, I paid $41.5k out the door here in Ca. You are correct sir the gas mileage isn't too good, but we don't really go to far. I am impressed with the build quality. So glad I bought it.

Yes Lexus’ are phenomenal cars. I have a 2014 is250 - 85k mikes and never a single problem.. it’s the best car I’ve ever owned.

As the owner of 2019 AWD version of this car, I know Scotty must be driving like crazy on the highway cause I get around 30-32MPG even on normal setting 😅

The 2 times I got an NX300 loaner when the 350 was in for service, I got excellent mileage, but then it was FWD and had a small 4 banger in it. The wheelbase is just too small for me.

@Jose Lazcano I just got but feel the turbos keep giving me a transmission slipping feel! When I first start up to drive off feel like it’s slipping or is this the turbos? I still can’t figure out how to cut my sound on! Only had since Tuesday! Help me 😂!

We have a 2019 NX. Little dated but only in the way Lexus can pull that off. As of 2 years, this car is flawless, I mean flawless. Lexus service impeccable. BUT, no way a NX should be over anywhere near 50K.

Hey, Scotty please share this info in your video! I subscribed to the Lexus group on Facebook! All the photos and comments that have been uploaded was about how beautiful and comfortable these cars are! There were some complaints about "Oh, look at this! The plastic on my keyfob is broken. It's so sad!" I remember commenting on the post and told the lady to join into an Audi or BMW group! Those guys would give an arm and leg if only their keyfob would have been broken! I got so many comments :D! Lexus is just in another dimension when it comes to reliability!

Scotty, I really like your videos and found this one about the Lexus SUV very interesting. I bought a new RAV4 four cylinder AWD and I really like the vehicle! Here is the thing that I found most interesting in comparing the the 2 vehicles the MPG - my RAV4 consistently gets 27 MPG and that is mostly city driving but I will have a few miles rural driving. Totally rural highway driving interstate speeds 75 to 80 mph and that is with no strong head wind, I get consistently 30 to 32 mpg. I really like this RAV4! Thanks for you comments. Roy

This is cool I rode in a 2019 rx from Lexus dealership they were inspecting for noise my is250 2009 awd , I really like the rx I’m handicap so it’s definitely more comfort

Scotty completely shamed me out of my Range Rover Evoque to this exact Lexus. Got it back in March. Gotta say my RR had wayyyy more pickup than the Lexus and got better gas mileage. Luigi Bros. You have to remember that GM cars are not too expensive and not “luxury” oriented while the Lexus Is, Plus the Lexus is much more reliable so you won’t spend as much money maintaining the care unlike a gm car where the car isn’t as reliable

My grandma's 2010 Lexus LS460L still get 25 average mpg..... open highway and downhill, it gets 27-28mpg..... so aerodynamic....
