I bought a 2021 NX 300 for its reliability history. I knew the style would change in 2022, but those new 2022 models will be built in Canada, not Japan like the 2021 and prior, so reliability is to be seen. Sometimes new it’s not always better, at least that’s my opinion.

@@blexy350 You’re welcome man. Yes all 2022 Lexus NX will be built in Canada from now on, along side the current Lexus RX. That’s why I’ll be holding off a year or two to see how they do with reliability.

@@r.m.s.605 A family member of mine has an older RX350, that still runs beautifully. I think Lexus is the only brand I’d buy used with higher mileage.
Purchased a Lexus 2021 NX 300 premium package. Going from a 2013 BMW the ride, comfortable seats & reliability and maintenance costs Lexus is superior 💯 I can go 15 days no fill-up fuel economy is good!

That center console removable mirror would serve me well. I can take it inside restaurant rest rooms for example and check the bald spot on the back of my head to make sure it is covered. :-)

the only one thing i dislike this car is about audio system and noise, over 60 miles on highway, i can't really hear the voice sound, lexus is not quiet car any more well, at least this car.

Howdy, great review as always y’all! I definitely think for a 6 year old design, it has aged very well both inside and out. In fact, if they added rear seat USB ports and the ability to get heated rear seats, updated some of the technology, mainly the IFE, and started using the 8 speed auto, it’d be very up to date, which really shows how solid of a design it was. The space, which since it came out has been this biggest issue IMO, is definitely something I hope they improve on next year. My advice would be, wait until next year, unless you can get a crazy good deal on one of these, in which case, go ahead and buy it!😸😸

Photos of the new 2022 were leaked abroad this morning! (you can find it on YT).. Exterior looks similar, but different (tail lights go the width of the car), interior looks much improved (and pleasantly different). Unknown what the engine will be.
at least the engine should be on par with Rav4 Hybrid Prime
even though its still like 6 years old its the best
Actually it’s the worst car in the segment. Cars like the GLC, X3 and upcoming GV70 are way better

Any distinctive feature that has got pros and cons needs to be assessed repeatedly to represent the brand on.
Only thing that I can’t stand, are touchpad controls. Had planned to look into buying an RC350, but now looking to combine vehicles. I didn’t like the touchpad on the coupe either.
My moms is only missing carplay somehow, triple beam headlight, and heated rear seats

Older models before 2019 or whatever year/date did not have Apple CarPlay. Lexus just recently started putting Apple CarPlay in their cars.

@@tremiller7922 thats what I just said. Lexus didn’t start adding CarPlay until 2019. The first car to have it was the UX I believe and then the ES, and other models followed after that.
I have this car in 2020. Love it. I would love to have both options of touch screen, but I have to say loving not seeing all those fingerprints all over the screen. I love Lexus and will keep this one, but I think I am going to go BMW or Rover next year.

Good price. They are offering the 2021 F Sport no less than $50K in my area due to low inventory.
Love the looks! I've owned a couple of Lexus' for the past few years, first a 2017 IS200t F-Sport & currently a 2016 GS350 F-Sport both very reliable vehicles as expected & I would for sure go for a NX if I were to buy a crossover (which I may in the future) which would be a huge change for me as I've purchased five vehicles so far & they've all been sedans.
Nice updates impressive interior love the design.. One question though I can't tell which one is Drew and which is Mason.. Is the one always doing the driving segment Drew? The bloke with beard.. I love this channels keep up the good workd lads.. Cheers

I'm going to wait for the redesign. The current gen's interior looks straight out of the 2000s, the leaked redesign looks way more nicer.

Crazy how this NX has less power than the Mazda CX 5 with the turbo that goes to 320lb Torque!

Tbh i prefer the rdx, which i own. Cuz it has a touchscreen and its quicker with better power numbers and almost the same fuel economy.
I think Lexus was wise to add more standard content and Lexus always has great quality. But I am perplexed on why they offer such a lackluster 2.0T? It is not very refined nor does it perform well. It may be appropriate in a RAV4, but not a luxury product. An Acura RDX and forthcoming GV70 shame this thing. And I don't hold out to much hope for Lexus to rectify my chief concerns with the new model because they don't develop powertrains often at all. Hopefully it won't have a poorly geared 6 speed automatic on next gen, at the very least.

I absolutely hate this grill on the front end! I was so sad their sticking with this ugly design. I’ve driven a 1997 LS 400 Lexus till just last year and needed to retire Pearl (the car). Now ready for a new car? Lexus wasn’t e en in the running, I purchased a 2020 Lincoln Aviator, black on black fully Loaded. I still needed that wide body that the Lexus had. I made a perfect choice on the new one!
My Lincoln aviator has me at the gas ⛽️ station every 4 to 5 days. Loving my 2021 Lexus NX 300 filled up gas tank and I am on Day 15 and still have 1/4 gas in my tank!

Lexus needs to fix that ugly front grill. Wouldn't mind buying a Lexus but the grill kills it for me. A big turn off.

The 2021 Envision on the scene none of thr Japanese are in the picture anymore.
This 2021 looks the part and smokes the Acura RDX in 30-50 mph, 50-70 mph and best the 60-0 mph stopping 15-feet shorter in Car & Driver testing. Such good price too!
