- In this video I mowed the lawn for the first time this year. this was a lot of fun for me because I never mow on hills and it was a cool change of pace. I am so excited to get back to mowing. I just spend 2 weeks down at my mom and dads house to do crazy power washing and spend a little time with them before my season really starts. While I was there I cleaned right around 20 filthy properties so if you enjoy clean ups and dirty powerwashing please subscribe it really goes along ways to helping the channel out. @@angelamccallister8037 Me too! I’m making 3 kinds of healthy breakfast burritos right now for my husband. I make small oatmeal jars for me and my daughter. Fill it with blue berries, walnuts, milk, oatmeal, and strawberries. When we get up in the morning it’s ready. I also cut up celery stalks and carrots for a quick snack. He did the same for me when I worked 12 hour shifts. I homeschool now so preparing ahead is a must. I make a months worth of breakfast burritos to save money and time. I always make his lunch before we eat dinner. I don’t feel like doing anything after dinner lol 😂.
Yes, he's BLESSED that she does that for him. I make mine myself because I have to.

Just found your channel 2 days ago and I'm gonna try to keep this comment short but I doubt I can. You have given me motivation. My daughter and I moved back into my childhood home a while ago because I have older parents and my dad (BFF) got to the point of needing home care after years of health issues. The 2nd thing that made him the proudest, after me 😉, was our house and yard. However as his health got worse so did the yard. We are tree huggers so he always kept it more natives, food and trees even though we live in suburbia. We tried to keep grass at a minimal but you still have constant maintenance. Now fast forward, he's gone to a better place listening to bagpipes whenever he wants lol and I'm trying to get his yard back to where he had it. It's been hard between neighbors, the city and regular life as an adult. I have to tell you how much I appreciate what you're doing for your community. You never know what's going on at these homes sometimes. You're acts of kindness may seem small to you but they can make a world of difference to those you're helping. Btw come out with some merch soon. I'd gladly sport a T-shirt!!

That's always a good thing to do before mowing. Cleaning up any debris (rocks, large sticks, tree limbs, trash, cinder blocks, ect.) around the yard that is in the way and checking for anything in the tall grass is a great way to prevent you from damaging anything (whether it be on the property or the mower itself)...🤔
One of the biggest things you should know about landscaping is the fact that you have to make a mess to clean a mess...😎👍

I know of a guy that was cutting his lawn with a small mower on his hill and he slipped and there went the toes. Always have to be careful .

The house looks fantastic overall. I can imagine the backyard having some paver steps leading from the lower level to the upper level and around to a fire pit. A couple o' evergreens by the back fence, a simple metal railing right by the retaining wall, some small shrubs dotted about, a colorful gravel strip in front of the retaining wall... It wouldn't take much for that backyard to look absolutely dynamite! Hopefully, with the weather getting a bit warmer, the new homeowners can find the time to make their outdoor space into an epic hangout spot. If ya can, pass along these ideas to the homeowners. If they've already got plans, even better.

Awesome job on this huge yard, which was very sloping. The riding mower made quick work of that front yard.
I have had my Hustler zero turn, since October 2018, and it will mow anything beautifully. Only issue that I've had was having to replace the starter, which was easy to swap out. Took me about 10 minutes and it was ready to go.

Having the right tools for the job really makes the work much easier. My parent's lawn is twice that size consisting of 4 kinds of grass, 3 kinds of moss, and all kinds of weeds surrounded by woods on 3 sides but it's green, that's what matters right? lol. I have used a push mower on it my entire life. I was just gifted a john deere riding mower which I am just about ready to leave my house to go pick it up. This is going to be a game changer!!
