As a disabled person, my heart feels so full and warm watching you help this person. Kindness and compassion like this will be remembered for a lifetime, and the impact of an action that's simple to you will be huge for them.
I can remember the kind acts people did for me over my life, and they're something I look at fondly when I feel low. Even things people did for me when I was a small child, I remember. Even when I never knew their names, or we only knew one another for that short act, I still think of them. For all I know, they've long since forgotten me. But even if that's true, that doesn't mean that what they did didn't, and doesn't, still bring light to my life.

  • @CatsSleepyHollow

I'm pretty sure that some people may judge him for letting his yard get like that, but it takes a lot of money and work to keep up any property. Not everyone has $300 for a half decent pressure washer and the health to do this. or $300 for a half decent power and another $300 for a leaf blower and so on.
And as a now 'older' woman I know exactly how hard this kind of work can be! I'm still trying to catch up the last two years worth of projects. Won't talk about lumber prices and the price for something as simple as a box of nails.

My dad had leukemia a couple years ago and we realized something was wrong when he couldn't take care of his yard because that's something he always did. He's in remission now but recognizing that his unkempt yard was due to health issues was critical in getting him to the hospital earlier and because we got him in fast, he was able to get the last spot in an experimental drug study that ultimately saved his life but he was in the hospital for months. We took care of his yard during that time. But to all the folks judging these folks with wild yards... just don't. You don't know their story. Few people want it to be that way. Thanks for helping this guy out, @The Boring Channel. You're a kind person.

Everything I see the "afters" it makes it look like you substantially raised the property value to these homes. Your work is awesome. Bless your heart for being so kind, helpful and passionate. What you do speaks volumes for the kind of person you are.

This was my exact thought! He has done a few houses already in this community and my thought was "the value of this community both monetarily and visually is definitely higher now" that's a simple way people are able to raise a homes value is just by cleaning it.

This made my day. I have once upon a time been the neighbourhood loser not being able to fully look after my property. It’s embarrassing. You feel like you’re being judged. Kind of made me feel like I didn’t deserve to own a home. What I love about you is that even though this is a free cleanup I don’t think you are putting any less effort into this than you would for a paid job. The homeowner goes from least to Best thanks to you. Be proud and God bless. You do good work. Mary from Canada

Hi from Australia! As a single Mum with a permanent (and bad) knee injury, this type of video gets me emotional. I’m lucky that I have a teenage son who takes care of our yards, but if I didn’t have him I know I’d be in the same position as a lot of the people that you help. Thank you for your generosity! A little kindness goes a long way. Karma will be good to you ❤️

Hey man, I’m having an awful time at work lately. Finished up work on a project at 1am. Siting in bed on TH-cam to decompress before nabbing 5 hours of sleep and getting back to it. Just want to say that your channel and the positivity you put into the universe by leading with empathy and helping these people with pressure washes and mows etc is an inspiration. Really helped me refocus on the bigger picture and you have my thanks for that. Keep doing what you’re doing man

You must have an enormous amount of patience. I would be terribly frustrated to do so much work and then have the mess not drain properly at the street. I also watch people clean off these super overgrown sidewalks just to see cracked and broken cement underneath. These cities, towns, and neighborhoods need to follow your example, step up and start doing some maintenance.

Especially for those of us with health issues who own properties, if we're on limited funds, the yard is the first expense eliminated. Sadly that brings depression because the beauty outside helps sustain us. Thank you for doing these. Your videos also calm a tormented mind. Bless you.

I really enjoy watching you turn these places into beauty again. I use to work at a golf course in Arizona for three years and loved my job. I took pride in my work , my old boss only employed women to do the work. We took better care of the equipment and added that extra special gift us women do. I really missed it after I left, but I wanted a family to. I had to jump through hoops to be able to have my son. He's a spoiled brat but he's all mine, my miracle child. Wish I could go back to it again, but I've had a lot of medical problems lately. So I can't hardly get arould now . I came up with severe back pain to years ago . And after 3mths of seeing different doctor , my third time to the ER. My husband lite up the emergency room because they kept tell me its all in my head. I wasn't able to walk up or down are stairs , getting out of bed just to use the restroom I was in tears. My third time to the hospital they finally did a blood test and they figured out I had a infection down my spine and my right should went septic. After they admitted me and did a MRI , PET and CT scan. They better life fight me to a bigger hospital. So I've had to learn how to walk and feed myself. Was in the hospital for 8weeks . And some intense physical therapy, its really nice that you help people in need. I always loved doing that myself , now I just make everyone laugh because my mobility and balance its gone. I personally what to thank you and your family. Be sweet and be kind to yourself !!! THANK YOU !! MARY ANN SMITH ❤️
