Another fantastic video. You are by far the best PDR tech on YT - highly skilled + just the right amount of detail and humor to keep things moving. I'm in the US and can't take advantages of your work but I've learned so much! Thank you and keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for your kind comment. It’s really nice to hear when people enjoy my videos and comments like yours push me to create more. Depending where you live in USA I could recommend techs to you. I know a lot of guys in USA who are really good Thanks again Martin
@@dentremover01 Appreciate that! I'm just a hobbiest facinated by the process. I have used a couple places here on two cars (I'm in Austin, Texas) with one great result and one so-so. This prompted me to look into it more, and found that my OCD and patience maps nicely to the process. 👍 A shop like yours that will take on just about anything is fantastic. (would be interesting to also see the jobs you turn down!) I use PDR techniques to prep metal prior to doing body work on a car I am getting ready to have painted. Just some Amazon tools + some that I made. A lot more room for error than your work. Its fun. If there is a downside to your videos is that you make it look easy, but your explanations really close the gap. I'm truly grateful for the expert insight you freely provide. Sooo many YT primadonnas in this space, especially in the United States! Keep up the good work, wish I could bring you business, but in the mean time I'll keep watching with my cup of brew (coffee) 👍👍☕ Cheers
Amazing work Martin. As always your talent is priceless. New techs like me learn so much by just watching you. I think we all need to appreciate the effort of making these videos let alone trying to fix a dent of that size, post editing and time needed is certainly not easy. It was also good to see you really didn't use any rods......unless I missed something. lol this was certainly eye opening as I would I have gone in with the rods after about about 1 hrs of reducing work and caused all sorts of push marks. (I guess that's why they call you big daddy of PDR world) LOL Jokes aside Martin....thank you and happy new year my brother. Nav
Top quality repair. The owner got an early Christmas treat getting that dent repaired by PDR as it would have cost a fortune for a new door and the hassle of trying to get the paint matched to the existing panels. You deserve a pat on the back for that one mate 👍👍
Thanks for your great comment! Yea I’d say so, plenty of folk think a replacement door and repaint is 3-400 but realistically it’s a lot more for a professional bodyshop job. PDR saved a lot of hassle and kept the OG paint as you say 🙌🏼
That was an amazing repair! Maybe glue a strap above the heavier LTS beam to hold it up if it pops loose? One strap in the middle might be enough because one glue joint will always pop first leaving the other joint and the strap to hold the beam up.
Thanks for your comment. Yes I normally do add a strap above as I don’t fully trust heavy tools on doors. I wasn’t expecting it to jump off like it did. I should have stopped when I saw the glue start to come away
Merci beaucoup Martin ! C'est vraiment génial de montrer le processus de réparation. Je suis un fan, et technicien pdr aussi. Tu conseil de faire une pause toute le combien de temps ? Est-ce que ta vue s'est dégrade avec le temps ? Salutations.
Thanks for your comment! I appreciate it and well done your a PDR guy 🙌🏼 When I’m working with line board I do have short breaks. I stop for a drink, or speak with customers coming in for a quote etc so I can always rest my eyes enough not to get eye strain
Hi Ross Some large dents require a side to side stretch in order to lift the dent If you get an empty Coke can and press the centre, the ends of the can turn in. You can’t simply pull the centre of the damage out because the ends are holding tension. By pulling on the ends of the can, the dent pops out or tension is greatly reduced
Hi! I attach the Elim a dent to a pole stand using an adapter called a Medusa ansonpdr.com/en-gb/products/elim-a-dent-medusa-adapter-for-dewalt-battery The stand I got a few years ago and it was from Ukraine so I don’t know if it’s still available. But if you got the Medusa then you can buy a pole to fit the diameter and then make the base? If you look at the link I gave you, there’s other options too Hope this helps and HNY

Hi mate, what’s the reason for sometimes using the bar puller with the glue, then sometimes using the hand held one?
Hi Ross
Some large dents require a side to side stretch in order to lift the dent
If you get an empty Coke can and press the centre, the ends of the can turn in.
You can’t simply pull the centre of the damage out because the ends are holding tension. By pulling on the ends of the can, the dent pops out or tension is greatly reduced
@ okay yeah I understand makes a lot of sense. Thank you
Hey Martin, Where can I get that stand that is holding your elimadent light?
Hi! I attach the Elim a dent to a pole stand using an adapter called a Medusa

I'm very impressed with your wizardry!
Question; Do you do motorcycle tanks?
I'm actually just up the road from you.
I think you mentioned it earlier but arn’t these later jag doors not aluminium?
No this was steel- jag and RR like to swap and change panel material with each model- I get confused too!
@@dentremover01 wow that’s interesting, personally I think the jag looked harder to do than the white Vauxhall, but you did miracles on both. I enjoyed watching see you on your next mission and Happy New year pal.
Acho que se você remover a porta e por em um cavalete ia facilitar bastante.
Great videos. How do you like the JVF tension bar? Do you think it is worth it for my first investment in tension tool? I’m watching all your videos and love your channel. Great work
Thanks. Yes I love it, it’s 100% worth the investment. The glue coming away on the tab is user error or complacency my fault
How much did you charge to fix that?
Thanks I think this was around 1200
Сколько сантиметров штанга re tension system?
Hi, the kit comes with both 2ft and 4ft beams. There are 2m beams available from JVFtools.com
Obviously a 'Domestic' !
Schön. Auch mal in Deutsch sprachlich übersetzt.
Amazing! So glad it worked! Do I sound like a nice German man?
$$

I.A horrible je coupe
What do you mean!?
we have a guy comes to our car lot . he charges £25 a dent top man
Where are you based?
