ReeseCup Gamer Yes and they have a lot of durability from my experience. Shame they are made with the most rare element in the game. The ancient big core.

The multi shot bows only use one arrow? I've been avoiding using them because I thought it was a waste of arrows! My life is a lie!! Also, freeze an enemy and use electricity to produce an electric field that harms everyone on the range... Except you!
Neo Way me too lol.. I had the lynel bow hanging up on display in Link's house for that reason... Time to grab it and start using the thing haha, the more you know
The korok leaf is being massively underrated here. My first playthrough was on Master Mode because I got to the party late and the only reason I didn't struggle my backside off was because of that silly leaf; when every other weapon breaks in a few hits and the enemies start healing themselves while you're out of weapons you have to think creatively, and I'll be darned if the best, easiest way I found to take those bokos out early on is to use the leaf to just throw them off a mountain or into some water to drown. And as long as you don't physically hit an enemy with it, it's durability never degrades. I still have the first leaf I picked up on that plateau. It's badly damaged from a few mistakes and I have a backup just in case, but it really has hung in there through 3 of the sacred beasts and a lot of wandering about. Korok leaf for the win.
Yeah but instead of shotgun shells, which are cool enough already, you get your choice of what to shoot their eyes out with: regular pointy sticks, fucking fire, THUNDER, & good ol' fuck you ice arrows. Of course you could just break the fucking game & use bomb arrows or-god forbid- Ancient arrows.
I actually got 5 of those and i know how to put on an hack that makes it shoot out over 9000 arrows...The game will glitch everytime you use that bow though.
Um... EDGE OF DUALITY, ANYONE?!! Honestly: 1. 50 damage early on as Kakariko Village and great main weapon throughout game. 2. Wonderful durability. 3. Great length/range for a 2-handed sword. 4. Fantastically devastating when using spin attack. 5. Multiple respawn places you easily remember so they STACK. 6. Looks freaking awesome! So underrated. Needed to be on this list. Who else agrees?!
Hmm last time i used an Edge of Duality after I got out of the shrine it was in, it broke. It’s even stranger because I didn’t see the "Your Edge of Duality is badly damaged" message. Yeah i get that it’s 50 damage but damage in BotW isn’t everything. I mean, it’s also a two-handed weapon meaning you can’t use this weapon and a shield, making it risky if you want to, let’s say, parry a guardian blast or shield surf. I get that you can just change the weapon but what’s the point if you change a weapon just so you can parry? Although this is in my own opinion so you don’t have to agree
Yes but try it vs a Major Test bot. It doesn't even last the fight. Overrated. Get the Royal weapons instead; they always spawn off Hinoxes and are almost as strong and a one handed weapon
L4ss3 The Ancient Bow is the most durable bow in the entire game without Amiibo. The Ancient Bow can surpass the damage of the bow of light easily with fully upgraded Ancient Armor and 3 Attack elixir (They do stack up unlike the Barbarian Armor) Its range surpasses 100,making it also the bow with the furthest shot in a straight line without amiibo and not counting bow of light. It makes sniping a breeze, like jeez you can easily kill Bokoblins in the other side of the hill. It’s not very useful in combat because its loading it’s the slowest. The best in combat is the Savage Lynel Bow. Royal Guard’s Bow is also pretty good but the durability makes it very unreliable. Golden Bow: Slow, weak against high tier enemies,so it’s pretty much useless on Master Mode. Though the Ancient Bow is quite hard, because you need a giant ancient core... They ain’t easy to get. Funny tale: I once got 2 Giant ancient cores out of a Guardian Stalker. Trust me,that’s like one in a million.

Raymond Zhu uh savage lynel bow 52x5, and since headshots are double, golden bows are OP, especially with +atk. I carry ancient and great eagle bows but hardly use them.
if you have the parts and money, ancient bow from Akkala ancient lab is fantastic. arrows fly almost completely straight with no drop. also deals 44 damage.
Brandon Barefoot it's surprisingly durable. I've maybe broken three of them after fighting about twenty Guardians and somewhere around two Blue/Silver Lynels with each bow.
the Ancient bow has 120 durability highest for all bows that means it will fire 120 regular arrows havnt tested other arrows remember that doesn't mean 120 arrows that hit just 120 arrows so watch your shots
Can't tell you all how fantastic it is to see this hit a whopping one million views, I know to many in the grander scheme of TH-cam it might not seem like a big deal but to me it means the world. Thank you!
The ancient bow should had been on the list since does over 40 damage good durability and it's reach is the best if u don't have the amiibo to get the twilight bow
I don't understand how people speak of Eventide Island as though it's a difficult challenge; it's literally what we go through at the beginning of the game. :P More of a "back to basics" challenge really.
Yeah it was really easy. Like I don't think I killed a single enemy when I did it. Even the Hinox wasn't a problem since you can just steal the orb while its sleeping then run away
I'm surprised at the lack of Royal Broadswords and Ancient Bows. Ancient Bows can be bought from Robbie's place any time if you have the materials so you don't have to hunt for them, and on top of that they fire in straight lines so it's the most accurate bow in the game. Royal Broadswords are also very strong for one-handed weapons and later on in the game you find them just about everywhere, silver enemies and bosses like Hinox drop them all the time, and they're all over Hyrule Castle too. Spears have range and two handed weapons are super powerful, but one handed weapons can be used alongside shields and I don't think they should be underestimated because of that. Between their availability, decent strength and how you can block while you use them, I find them to be pretty good weapons. I know I've broken at least 30 of the damn things fighting Lynels are stationary guardians because I just have so many to use since I've been saving them for tough fights.
Yeah I know, only reason I didn't point those out is because you have to kill Lynels to get those and that can be quite difficult until later on in the game, plus Royal Broadswords are still more common to find. Savage Lynel Swords are very good weapons as well though, one of the best one-handed weapons in the game without question.
For those who have a tough time with lynels, the royal claymore is a good alternative for the savage lynel crusher. You can get one every blood moon on top of the tower outside of the lost forest.
To the basic crusher yes, it is useful at first to scale up on drops (use it to kill basic lynels, get their weapons, kill stronger lynel get their weapons). But there is no Royal Claymore with 100+ attack
Luke Tse umm.... that's how you're supposed to kill him. At the end of the fight he sucks objects and spits them at you, I used a bomb. XD. it was satisfying.
*gets five shot lynel bow* me: *rushes at dark beast Ganon after getting it thinking I'm a god dies immediately* when you try your best but you don't succeed
you can drop weapons and shields on the raft before you get on the island, then when the challenge starts you can pick them up again, just make sure to drop them again before you put the last ball in the pedestal or they dissapear
Hector Titla oh lol I am a professional dodger (not flurry, I suck at that) so after he does his dam attack I just shoot him with a ice or shock arrow (usually ice cause I need shock for boss and no I did not go to garudo city yet so no shock arrows to buy, plus if I could, why would I be fighting a lynal?)and freeze him and then ride him and attack with my guardian sword+ and sometimes ill hit him in eye for even more crit damage yay! And eventually after 72 million deaths I did it finally! And I realised I could of just killed bokos and lizalfos who shot shock arrows and there's a high chance that they would drop 1-5 shock arrows so yah I could of just done that oh well.......
@@hugenose8824 Yeah but the damage is only 30, thats less than a royal bow (which can use bomb arrows) yeah the twilight bow has godly range but that isn't everything
Didn’t mention that you can drop bombs while gliding… And ancient shield should be on there. It auto reflects guardian shots into their eyes and has insane durability.
If u combo the ancient shield with the inventory overload glitch and swap it’s durability with the hylian shields then u have a god teir shield with strongest durability and the best shield surfing stats and auto reflect!
You can get the ancient bow straight after reaching akkala but you have to do naboris last because it is 100 times harder than the other divine beasts, also the ancient bow shoots straight and the golden bow still has a drop.
I snuck around the Lynel in ZD for Vah Ruta's quest, so my first real Lynel fight was the silver bastard at the bottom of the colosseum in Central Hyrule and hot damn was it satisfying
the one in the coliseum was the first one I killed, silver as well. Though it wasn't much of a fight, I basically just made it rain on top of him... and by rain I mean bomb arrows. He never really saw me so it was kinda cheating.. BUT HEY, I got his weapons!
Lightening combat trick:What you need:Thunder helm, giant boomerang. How to do:In a lightening storm equip Thunder helm and only have your giant boomerang. Then when your about to be struck with lightening throw it at a monster.
the golden bow is certainly one of my favorite bows, when I first got one I was so confused but I loved it, certainly gonna use it for dragon material farming
Was a bit surprised to not see the Ancient Battle Axe++ on the list, since it can be so easily paired with the Ancient armor set and boost its damage output to 108. That *plus* the insane amount of easily found and cooked Mighty Thistles boosting damage further is absolutely OP. Please don't nerf.
*Hey! Listen!* Last time I checked, shields aren't weapons! You can kill a silver lynel with a shield, but that's a dumb idea. Also, metal boomerangs can be caught with magnesis. I was screwing around with magnesis, my favorite power, and I caught a boomerang after about 20 times and it keeps spinning. I haven't tried it against enemies yet, so it might be an op technique and I'm the first to figure it out!
when all you ever do with arrows is to shoot enemies in the head or eye to make them fall over so you can walk up and hack away at them, then what's the point in being able to do so at long range where they will have enough time to get back up before you get close enough to hit them?
*Top 3 best Bows in BotW:* *3. Ancient Bow-* Has long reach and fires arrows in a straight line. It has great durability and power, making other sniping bows irrelevant. *2. Savage Lynal Bow-* Has great power and durability and can get additional modifiers. 5 shots and Attack up are best. Though even without them they are still awesome. Bomb arrows are my favorite to use with it. *1. Great Eagle Bow-* Oh, boy. Where do I start? Though a bit lower in power than Savage Lynal Bow, it is a 3 shot. The best part though is that it's a Rito bow and they all have built in Quick Shot. Not to mention this thing also shoots arrows farther than Lynal Bows. Rapid fire head shots are it's specialty. Able to sweep entire hordes of enemies while in Link's focus mode. It is a wooden weapon however so use extreme caution in hot areas.
And also a good tip,if you are fighting the first Lynel at zora's domain,on that mountain there is a camp with lizalfos, behind there is a knight's claymore, get it and use it to fight the lynel,it will get the Lynel down to a quarter!very useful!!!!!!!!(I used it and it help me beat it AS ALL MY WEAPONS BREAK EVERY TIME!!!!!i need to use a ice rod to fight and it break...)
When you got all 3 Barbarian Armor also equip the Savage Lynel Crusher and drink bonus attack elixir all enemies won't stand a chance too defeat you not even Calamity Ganon
That list was NOT what I expected, but in a great way! Thought it would be kinda 'strongest + most durability stuff' but this was way more interesting! and I had NO idea about golden bows zooming in!!! Right away going to try that!
It hurts me...my favorite memory from my childhood is putting on the Iron boots and exploring Lake Hylia in Oot. it was super peaceful how the epic music of Hyrule Field would stop and it was quiet under the water :')
Grumblebuzz I understand that the game is huge but everyone who is saying it's 4x bigger then gta V I really cannot believe gta v seems so much bigger and I feel like I already explored through the whole map of breath of the wild lol huge map but I don't think 4x bigger then gta v
The ancient bow fires in a straight line and does more damage than the golden bow and the ancient bow gets affected by ancient profeiceinty thingy from the ancient armor
Trial of the sword has the best reward for master sword. If you beat them all you get double damage on the sword from when you first got it and just over 4x more energy in it until it runs out of energy Also... ITS A FRICKIN LIGHTSABER
The coolest thing about the thunder spear and what really makes it feel like an item that exists in the game world is the way it has to recharge, interferes with machines, and doesn't just have thunder on it as a flat and rather abstract property. *Everything* in this game is made to feel like this in interesting ways. It might be the design takeaway from BOTW more than anything else. This is fairly obvious, and I know it almost sounds like the "makes you feel like Batman" cliche, but it really does bring the experience together. I haven't even gotten my Switch yet and this iteration of Hyrule already makes me feel like a kid again in a playground. I should explain: my favorite thing to do with a videogame as a child, was not to actually play the game but to, as I now retroactively understand, role-play with it. The characters onscreen had their own in game identity, but I also projected onto them my own imagined scenarios. I would enter into a level not because that game told me I had to go there or it provided some kind of challenge, but because it was an environment that seemed to play into my fantasies. I'd run around and maybe come across a house in the background, but rather than just dismissing it as part of the backdrop and moving on, I'd wonder who lived there and if there might be a secret passage leading inside or that maybe I could make it into my own house. One of the devils of online discussion and videos like this is that it causes you to do something that is otherwise considered a positive and useful skill, and that is analysis: considering the game as an assemblage of parts and judging it based on how it fulfills it's utilitarian purpose of meeting arbitrary critical criteria. When in the first place, Zelda came into being as a result of the creator's own childhood memories of wanting to explore caves. ...And yet a curious thing I find is that games that set out to be this kind of playground with black slate characters generally fail to capture my imagination because, in avoiding the kind of definition and commitment it takes to produce a discrete character as part of a story, they leave out the polish as well. It doesn't matter that Link has his own backstory and even a personality, as shown by some of his goofier animations. If I want to imagine him as a stoic warrior or a savage forest dweller, my brain can somehow take that energy and re-purpose it to the situation I'm imagining. The everyman types generally retain their blank lifelessness no matter how much you customize them, whereas a predefined character inherently has that vitality which invites you to play around and use your imagination even though what I imagine really has nothing to do with what he actually looks like or how he behaves. Just watching this video seeking like wear the volcano suit, I imagined a playthrough with self-imposed restrictions where "Link" is a paranoid recluse who never goes outside without a hazmat suit, effectively forcing me to wear it at all times except when indoors because Hyrule is covering in deadly radiation. I've even seen people mod the game so that Hyrule is mostly covered in lava. The floor is lava. A silly kids game. And people play it inside videogames. And for the first time in a long while, I can say that feeling like a kid makes me feel alive rather than immature.
“Five shots are super rare” I found four in my inventory. That being said I play on master mode and I just hunted that north strip with three lynels in a lyne. Pun.
Basic damage wise Lynel Crusher is higher. You can find it on the many silver Lynels in Hyrule and it has either a very very high durability or more than 100 dmg. Royal Guard's Claymore can have up to 110ish damage but there's only one or two within Hyrule castle and they always break in one or two combos. So Lynel Crusher still is the best weapon just for the fact that it's easily found and it's way easier to farm it for best stats.
Incorrect. If you're looking purely at the damage output of a weapon without considering buffs, then yes. But the weapon capable of doing the most damage is the Ancient Battle Axe++. Let me explain. If you wear all 3 pieces of Ancient gear you get a set benefit which increases the damage you do with Guardian and Ancient weapons by 80%. Additionally you can create food which increases your damage by 50%. The way the 80% damage increase and the 50% increase works together is multiplicative not additive. That means you don't get a measly 130% damage increase, you get a 170% increase. (1.8 * 1.5 = 2.7). Also, if you wear the Berserker set you only get a 50% damage increase which does not stack with any damage increasing food buffs. So that means the highest possible damage you can do with a regular Ancient Battle Axe++ is 162. The highest possible damage you can do with a regular Savage Lynel Crusher is only 117. Also, the Ancient Bladesaw would be better as well with a max damage of 149 with a regular one. Ancient Sword and Guardian Sword++ come pretty close with a max damage of 108 and considering they're one handed I'd say that makes it better than the Lynel Crusher. Ancient Spear may also arguably be the best weapon considering its speed. It's max damage is only 81, but considering the speed and range it could be considered the best weapon. Point is that with the set benefit from Ancient Armor and a damage buff, any high end Ancient/Guardian weapon is the best.
Idk if this has been mentioned, but it's definitely possible to use any weapon you want on Eventide Island. Just drop the weapons you want when still a ways in the water before walking up to the beach and initiating the starting dialogue for the shrine quest. Afterwards you can pick up all the weapons you left behind and wreck everything on the Island easily.
The caveat is that if you're holding those weapons after you put the last orb in the slot, you'll lose them. So you have to drop them before finishing the trial.

That is 100% the strongest and most durable weapon in the game
Most op weapon
Julian Monsalve I saved my first tree branch and killed Calamity Ganon with it
Lelouch Vi Britiania I bet you with one hit you killed him.
There is a video of someone defeating Lynel with nothing but an inventory of branches.
NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO THE MOP AN POT LID
Kaelan Geng actually the master torch can
Kaelan Geng what about the tree branch?
Thomas Horne I threw a Tree Branch at a Guardian as a joke once.
It knocked it over because throw crits.

The multi shot bows only use one arrow? I've been avoiding using them because I thought it was a waste of arrows! My life is a lie!!
Also, freeze an enemy and use electricity to produce an electric field that harms everyone on the range... Except you!
I figured out they used 1 arrow from reading the loading screen. Wasted 3 days not using OP bows. Feels bad man.
The durability on those bows aren't very good. Even the Lynel bows don't last very long.
but every lynel drops them, so I always have 5 or more which is OP.
Yeah, I was gonna say, once you get to being able to kill one you can fill up on those bows where half the time they give durability +
5x Savage Lynel Bow is basically a medieval SHOTGUN.
I've got a 5x savage lynel bow!! It's so awesome!!
And that bow just gets more op with ancient arrows
Milkaholic well I'd assume shooting *_9,000 goddamn arrows_* would glitch a game.
Um... EDGE OF DUALITY, ANYONE?!! Honestly:
1. 50 damage early on as Kakariko Village and great main weapon throughout game.
2. Wonderful durability.
3. Great length/range for a 2-handed sword.
4. Fantastically devastating when using spin attack.
5. Multiple respawn places you easily remember so they STACK.
6. Looks freaking awesome!
So underrated. Needed to be on this list. Who else agrees?!
1 handed swprd for life
Hmm last time i used an Edge of Duality after I got out of the shrine it was in, it broke.
Alexander Hufnagel nope. I hit an enemy with a swing and just like that, it got thanos snapped
yeah edge of duality should be first
Yes but try it vs a Major Test bot. It doesn't even last the fight. Overrated. Get the Royal weapons instead; they always spawn off Hinoxes and are almost as strong and a one handed weapon
Ancient bow is way better than golden bows
L4ss3 The Ancient Bow is the most durable bow in the entire game without Amiibo. The Ancient Bow can surpass the damage of the bow of light easily with fully upgraded Ancient Armor and 3 Attack elixir (They do stack up unlike the Barbarian Armor)
Its range surpasses 100,making it also the bow with the furthest shot in a straight line without amiibo and not counting bow of light.
I used the golden bow on master mode with bomb arrows or fire thunder and ice arrows use some damage elixirs and you got the super sniper bow
L4ss3 your right

Raymond Zhu uh savage lynel bow 52x5, and since headshots are double, golden bows are OP, especially with +atk. I carry ancient and great eagle bows but hardly use them.
you are so right
I found a giant boomerang, threw it, hit a tree and fell into lake. Never found it again
I actually threw a boomerang off a tower.
I was stupid.
Lollapool Awesome that's what happened to me when I got the prompt to throw a weapon in the Great Plateau. RIP Traveler's Sword.
You can actually use magnesis to get it back!
sounds like the first giant boomerang what I got

Yea it is amazing to throw at enmeis
It can even beat a lynel.
if you have the parts and money, ancient bow from Akkala ancient lab is fantastic. arrows fly almost completely straight with no drop. also deals 44 damage.
Brandon Barefoot how durable is it?
Brandon Barefoot it's surprisingly durable. I've maybe broken three of them after fighting about twenty Guardians and somewhere around two Blue/Silver Lynels with each bow.
King Bradberry I did say almost... I know they drop, but most anything you're realistically going to be aiming at won't be that far away.
Brandon Barefoot they dip after a really long flight. Still worth getting an Ancient Bow.
the Ancient bow has 120 durability highest for all bows that means it will fire 120 regular arrows havnt tested other arrows remember that doesn't mean 120 arrows that hit just 120 arrows so watch your shots
I love the bomb. When I first started I defeated large groups of hard enemies just by throwing bombs off a cliff.

Legit you can do this
I'm surprised at the lack of Royal Broadswords and Ancient Bows.
Grimahim Savage Lynel swords are stronger then those broadswords.
Grimahim ancient bows the best bow in the game
Grimahim g
Yeah I know, only reason I didn't point those out is because you have to kill Lynels to get those and that can be quite difficult until later on in the game, plus Royal Broadswords are still more common to find. Savage Lynel Swords are very good weapons as well though, one of the best one-handed weapons in the game without question.
Weeb Genji Main its harder to get though
For those who have a tough time with lynels, the royal claymore is a good alternative for the savage lynel crusher. You can get one every blood moon on top of the tower outside of the lost forest.
No it 100% isn’t lol
To the basic crusher yes, it is useful at first to scale up on drops (use it to kill basic lynels, get their weapons, kill stronger lynel get their weapons).
But there is no Royal Claymore with 100+ attack

*Hey! Listen!*
Last time I checked, shields aren't weapons! You can kill a silver lynel with a shield, but that's a dumb idea. Also, metal boomerangs can be caught with magnesis. I was screwing around with magnesis, my favorite power, and I caught a boomerang after about 20 times and it keeps spinning. I haven't tried it against enemies yet, so it might be an op technique and I'm the first to figure it out!

i don't see a point in a sniper bow that can't kill most enemies in one hit.
when all you ever do with arrows is to shoot enemies in the head or eye to make them fall over so you can walk up and hack away at them, then what's the point in being able to do so at long range where they will have enough time to get back up before you get close enough to hit them?
It's the taut that counts
That's why ancient bow is better for sniping and it does even more damage with ancient proficiency and against guardians.

*Top 3 best Bows in BotW:*
Dont forget to mention that The Great Eagle Bow is a perma weapon, meaning you can repair it!
LoneFox GT You can't repair it you gotta get a new one
And also a good tip,if you are fighting the first Lynel at zora's domain,on that mountain there is a camp with lizalfos, behind there is a knight's claymore, get it and use it to fight the lynel,it will get the Lynel down to a quarter!very useful!!!!!!!!(I used it and it help me beat it AS ALL MY WEAPONS BREAK EVERY TIME!!!!!i need to use a ice rod to fight and it break...)

The ancient bow fires in a straight line and does more damage than the golden bow and the ancient bow gets affected by ancient profeiceinty thingy from the ancient armor
Trial of the sword has the best reward for master sword. If you beat them all you get double damage on the sword from when you first got it and just over 4x more energy in it until it runs out of energy
Also... ITS A FRICKIN LIGHTSABER
I got a savage lynel crusher with 100 damage. Still have it and use it for lynel battles. Makes the battles super fast
Sarah Krix mines dose 109 damage
I only recently discovered that there is no max weapon damage and it is not 60😂
Marlow Leon That’s impossible. Highest a SLC can go is 108.
Chris 3:16 nope they go higher
You triggered me when you ate a defense up 3 food and then an attack up 3 right after.
I read the whole thing
“Five shots are super rare” I found four in my inventory. That being said I play on master mode and I just hunted that north strip with three lynels in a lyne. Pun.
Yeah I've found 5 shot savage bows quite common. I've had 5 or so, two in inventory right now. Not on master mode.
sultanofsick which lynels have them?
haha! nice pun
Drumroll
@@strawberrrylady9451 , every Lynel can have them.

Savage Lynel Crusher isn't one of the best weapons, it is THE best damage wise, period.
I'm pretty sure that the Royal Guard's Claymore has a slightly higher damage cap, but it's much more brittle
Yep. I got a buffed one with fucking 100 atk.
DFK Savage lynel sword is better, 100 dmg max, and its 1 handed so you swing really fast.
Top 15 best weapons:
15 Master Sword
14 Lynel sword
13 Guardian Axe ++
12 Flameblade
11 Soldier's sword
10 Lizalfos boomerang
9 Oxidized sword
8 Lizalfos arm
7 Wooden mop
6 Tree Branch
5 Soup Laddle
4 Boko club
3 korok leaf
2 Uncharged Master Sword
And the best one is...
1 A SHIELD (2:21)
Idk if this has been mentioned, but it's definitely possible to use any weapon you want on Eventide Island. Just drop the weapons you want when still a ways in the water before walking up to the beach and initiating the starting dialogue for the shrine quest. Afterwards you can pick up all the weapons you left behind and wreck everything on the Island easily.
The caveat is that if you're holding those weapons after you put the last orb in the slot, you'll lose them. So you have to drop them before finishing the trial.
1. Maxed master sword (damage and durability)
2.ancient sword robbies lab (damage especially ancient proficiency)
