Hi. I clicked on the little red arrow and a huge black "Recovery Manager" screen popped up (covering the screen I was working on), with 3 options "I need help immediately", "I'd like to identify and problems" & "I'd like to take precautions". The only other option that I have is to 'X' out which states "Do you want to exit Recovery Manager and reboot?"... gives me 2 options "OK" or "Cancel" The "I need help immediately" has 3 sub-topics Microsoft System Restore, Microsoft Startup Repair Tool & System recovery. Any ideas?

Just keep trying the startup repair steps (shut down computer, turn on, shut down during startup, turn on again and start the startup repair process again). For me it was doing the same thing that’s happening to you, but after I tried it again I was able to get to the window which allows you to access the file system.
