      I thought the green springs were best too - there was zero bounce on the wheels with the green spring - the lime green was nearly the same but not quite as good as the green. The other springs showed considerable bounce on the wheels.

  • @leovandijk8852
    @leovandijk8852 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It all depends..
    The height of the drop beeing the biggest factor.
    I personally like my springs a bit stiffer for jumps, so the body doesnt slam into the ground as easy/hard.
    For handling and racing i like em softer.
    I would advise not to have rebound due to too much oil, bigger drops/jumps will blow out the o-rings as the oil has nowhere to go when the shaft enters the shock body.
    Topping up the shocks with the shaft extended will leave no room for the shaft as oil is not compressable. This is why the shock will rebound.
    I ALWAYS make sure there is just enough oil in so the shock just about wants to rebound, never more.

      @@lucionjay5376 the shortest answers are often the ones that nail it haha. I think you could be right as the shock is meant to dampen the rate of the spring with the oil.
