would a a959 diff be a good replacement?

I got one of these a few weeks ago and it worked fine for balance charging. However, when I decided to do a storage for my lipos, with the correct settings for storage it still charged my batteries even when it was set to storage. I watched the voltage continue to rise as it was suppose to be reducing the cells to storage voltage. The only way i could store them was to put it in discharge mode. Remarkably, it stored the cells at the proper balance amount. Don't know if the menu selection is faulty but that is how ai got it to store. And all cells were at the same 3.4 volts per cell. PS. it was the same on all my batteries I have so it was not the batteries.

Do you leave the rear toe blocks so that there is rear toe or spin them around to give neutral toe on the rear.

I can confirm that the metal upgrade for the wltoys 124017 is shitty, espectially in the pront part of the car: it makes steering awful and it breaks my front driveshafts in minutes! The "upgrade" gray driveshafts break instantly (worst quality ever) and the steering clutch is awful! On the other side, in the back, the metal kit really helps with durability and does not limit performance or destroy itself. So just put the rear part of the kit. And the diff cups, idk, i don't have them. But those you have are bad

I have s665 servo which is the new ones and I opened it up and the pin that holds center gear broke and I can’t find that same size pin no where it’s a pin that sits in that gold lil round piece and sits into the middle part of the case

I cant believe,my 4h driven trx4 sport high trail started to make clicking noise,havent yet figured out where it comes,its not doing it all the time,it stops doing it for a while and then comes back,its easiest to spot when drivin slow as possible :o

I have some cheap ones and if I put them in channel 3 they are just on all the time. Is there a way for the button to turn the lights on and off ?

I was just going to charge my XT 90 battery and I have the adapter to female EC five. And soon as I put the plug to the XT 90 before anything the wire was getting warm. I didn’t even have the banana clips in my charger.. So I got spooked and unplugged it. My venom did not come with something to charge that I’m surprised.

My channel 4 for the light controller seems to be reversed

Mine going 54 with a 16 t n 5000 50c all metal diffs y stock motor

Weird, the drive shaft in mine seems way too short causing a ton of front to back play between the drive gears and diff gears. That’s how I found this video, looking for a way to elongate the driveshaft and shift it centered front to back.

My thinking... ring gear much harder to replace. Am going to try metal ring gears with plastic inputs. Yes the inputs will wear but the ring gear should last FOREVER. Just keep a stash of inputs, they are fairly easy to change.

Is there any way to set a deadzone for the throttle.. mine is very sensitive... so 1/1000mm it either hits reverse or forward from the "neutral" position of the throttle.. Tried calibration and fildeling with the adjustment...

The Arrma shocks seem good on my granite once I changed the oil . I compared them and there’s hardly a difference between arrma and big bore . The truck bottoms out even with 90 wt in a 6 ft high jump but it’s a lot less on my example this way with the 90wt . We ll see if the shocks break after a while but it feels right

can the x6fg controller run w/ a x6f receiver?

So with the white sticky pad and the screw it holds the SUP Arm down more for the ride height i was looking at mine to line the shell up and wondered about that and came back to the vid really great explanation should be okay doing it myself now. I'm 44 but did RC car's about 10 year back with my Uncle before he passed and just got back into it in the last 3 years as I've got Jacob and he is nearly 9 now :)

Hi, first of all, geat video, very educational. I was wondering can you help me. I have a problem with my Dumborc x6 transmitter. On channel 4 I have a winch motor, and when I turn of the transmitter (ch4 button is in the neutral position) my winch motor turns on and I can turn it off, only if I unplug the receiver for the power. I have done some research online, and it seems to me that there is a failsafe on ch4 that activates when I turn the transmitter off, buy that failsafe is not setup to be in neutral position. Do you know how could I solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

The rubber o rings that come in the wltoys 144001 1000 pce screw kit work good for each side of the turnbuckles front and rear so 16 pieces and the steering links are optional . I thought they were too tight so left one on one on the top side closest to the wheel
