Emulating Mac OS X Tiger (10.4, PowerPC) in QEMU

Older versions of Mac OS X don't run on x86 or ARM, but PowerPC. Some which are even older than 1998 (which predates Mac OS X entirely) will run on the Motorola 68K, an even older architecture than PowerPC and ARM.

I once used UTM (basically QEMU with a GUI) to emulate OS X Lion on my Apple Silicon MacBook. It was painfully slow because the GPU is software accelerated and the x64 CPU is being emulated instead of being virtualized because I was on Apple Silicon.
