A lady came in the thrift store that i worked at a few years ago and she put jewelry on concrete outdoor statues and they were fabulous, she used wrist watches on a squirrel and it was incredible ❤
This Christmas Tree is drop dead gorgeous with so much glitter and shine. I love it, absolutely love it. Thank you so much for showing us how to create this fine art.
Oh thanks Steph. It was a crazy busy day. I will be glad when this week is over, My lists are so long. lol Hope you are feeling better. I'll email you in a bit.
Love it Sandi! I have always wanted to take advantage of the sale prices on costume jewelry, but never had a concrete idea of what to use them for. Now, I do! How extremely creative! Thank you for the wonderful idea! 💖🎄💕
My mom, her 3 sisters & my grandmother all made these years ago😊 I have lots of things in my stash!🎄I'm going to suggest this as our craft at our cookie exchange if we can have one this year(with mom & my 3 sisters & 4 nieces, cousin & aunt!)
I remember a long time ago when my Great Aunt made one of these for my Grandmother. I think I may still have it somewhere. I hope to find it and bring it out this Christmas!
Brilliant design !❤❤ My mom has a box of college ted buttons that might work for this! L#10 fw as always 👍👌 Congratulations on your success and glad I found you again!
Hi, this is fabulous, may I suggest using tweezers also when hot gluing little things that way fingers don’t get burned, I particularly like your hint for using the hair dryer, I didn’t know this before you showed us, awesome tip, thanks 😉
Great video! Does the velvet gather dust over the years? I’m a newbie and wondered if the velvet or whatever fabric used, should be Scotch Guarded if not project isn’t under glass?
So did you leave all of the backs on the jewelry & push them through, then glue it or did you remove the backs first? I understand the concept of leaving them on sticking them through on some, but what about those that are bulky on the back & won’t go through & makes them uneven? I do really love this idea! Would make a great family Heirloom!
If it is to bulky snipe the back off. I usually push them through the material, if you are using a foam core the back will push into the core but if you are using wood in the back, snipe the backs off.
I am about to make a jewelry tree, but I am afraid to use hot glue because I and live in Texas. If I were to move at any time during the summer I’m afraid that the pieces would melt off!
@@suburbanhomesteaderwy-az I’m just afraid of possibly moving in the summertime. Or having items in storage in the future, and it not being climate controlled
Sandi this is gorgeous.🌲 want you to know I recieved my box of Super Clean products. So excited to start using them! Thank you and thanks to Super Clean.😊

In the summer could you store it flat in a closet?
@@suburbanhomesteaderwy-az
I’m just afraid of possibly moving in the summertime. Or having items in storage in the future, and it not being climate controlled
Did you say that you used hot glue to glue some or all of the pieces to the velvet ?
O have a art core behind it so I can stick some of them in through the velvet but yes I use hot glue.
Thank you so much! Your are extremely talented!
Can I use felt?
I am sure you could.
If you don't have nick- nacks or jewelry to use just check at garage sales.
