I enjoyed watching this video. I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a very long time. I try to make everything perfect and in doing so this causes me to procrastinate. I think I feel encouraged enough to give it a try. It’s a good way to get your pretty jewelry out of the drawers and up on a wall so you can enjoy it. Thank you
I have been wanting to make one of these Christmas trees! A great resource for old jewelry is thrift stores! Goodwill has bags or jars of jewelry sometimes. I'm in Canada so they are quite reasonable prices here. Great job on this one! 👏
Your video is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!! I have a question about the velvet. Will it not gather dust over the years? Does it need to be Scotch Guarded or something if the piece isn’t going to be behind glass? I’m obviously a newbie. Thank you!
Thrift stores & garage sales can be great places to get jewelry. Use a glue which dries glue if you want this tree to last. Hot glue yellows & cracks over time, it also melts if you store your Christmas decorations in attic or garage. I’ve been making these trees for years & add Christmas lights to mine.
your're AMAZING !! My sister just died and I have boxes of vintage jewelry that I just don't want to give away. Do you have any ideas of how to make a "beach" scene where she loved to be? Great job Elda !
I have so much broken jewelry and I did a tree, I want to do a cupcake or ice-cream cone to go with my Candyland Christmas theme, have you ever done something like that? I can't seem to find any tutorials with ice-cream or cupcakes. Yours is lovely.
@carriepriegel6477. Tell me what the difference is between what you do by fabricating OOAK jewlery with vintage and antique jewlery, and what she does with the tree?? At least she doesn’t break the pieces apart to make her designs. She is saving them in entirety to be admired in the form of a tree? You are a Hypocrite
What is the complaint about? Costume jewels BE IT vintage, or modern will never see the light of day. Just rotting away in a jewelry box that will be thrown out OR given to Goodwill to rake buyers over on their prices and auctions. I make jewelry trees and so many other designs and I have families give pieces of precious stones and metal jewelry that will never be worn placed in one of the designs. Atleast that will be featured for a whole season, sometimes longer like the bouquets and seasonal scenes I make. Framed jewelry art is beautiful!!! No matter what the piece is old, new, or heirloom antique it will be stashed away and never worn or appreciated. Ps.... What you do is comprise the original work, what is so diffrent? We both alter the original for another purpose, to be seen and loved.
I think it's great because so much gets thrown out by families and it's a lovely way to keep it
How pretty! And what a nice way to display remants of jewelry that would otherwise not be used for anything.

Looove this! I’m a bit nervous to try it, but you do make it look easy and forgiving!
True! I am the same! And have been wanting to use my grandmothers jewelry somehow for a long time!
I've been doing these for years. People love them.
Beautiful! I can’t wait to try doing mine!

This is a very helpful tutorial. Your projects turned out beautifully! You have a great eye for composition. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thanks for this video. I was specifically looking for how to make the velvet frame. The rest was great too!
So, so pretty. And festive, i want to try making my Christmas 🎄. Thank you for sharing.
💕 This is lovely. Thank you! (I'm amazed at what you can do with it upside down! Beautiful!)
Amazing and easy to follow you. Thank you so much!
Very cute!❤
Looks great very helpful video

Which glue do you suggest? I am undertaking this project right now
Turned out beautiful!!!
I love it!!! 💖 thank you
Неймовірна краса !!! Дякую !!! Успіхів Вам !!!
I love the is! Thanks!
Loved it!!
This would be cool to make with buttons, also
I enjoyed the process. But the audio was terrible. I had to struggle to hear. Great way to use old jewelry we all have sitting in boxes for years.
I’m thinking of doing a Letter initial, so it can stay up all year.
A star or a heart would be neat

Thank you! I hope to make five of front mom’s jewelry. How big is your frame?
Beautiful and thanks for sharing ! I’m curious Is glue gun better than E300 ?? A lot of people are using E300🤷♀️
Thank you for the video
How sturdy is the hot glue….is it permanent?
Turn up the volume!!!!
What are you using to cut/trim jewelry?
❤
Have you sold these? If so where do u recommend selling and how many have u sold? And what is average price u sell for? Love ur video
Don't you need to take backs off some pieces like clip on earings? If so how.
I use wire cutters

I would just do a rough sketch and be inspired by that.
Do not overthink your project just do what is beautiful to you ❤
I’ve tried all sorts of glue. Is using a glue gun best?
😃
She has a very interesting video but volume is very low.
I just turned up my volume!
This was not live for me so I watched it from the start so the if you are just getting on was redundant
Too Fuzzy to see well.
The story I've heard about Melania's speech is that it was given to her by Ivanka on purpose to embarrass her.

As one who fabricates one-of-a-kind jewelry with vintage & antique jewelry, it breaks my heart to see beautiful pieces get glued down for trees
But…. Now those jewels are in a very special place for many to admire instead of sitting in a drawer unused! Look at the postive
Beautiful art!!
Thats an odd comment.
Why is what you do ok and not this? you're just complaining. I'm sure you didn't watch it all.
