You're making me kinda sorry I didn't get any. I love CRF, almost even more than CRF w Perique. Something about their red virginias just really hits the spot for me. I really like the tanginess though, so this might have been one I smoked a bowl or two of and then never reached for again. Who knows lol. Great video as always homie, much love!

Well think of how I felt when I opened my tin and it had white mold. Then when I got my replacement tin that one had mold as well. 1 of my 3 tins didn’t have mold. So mad cause I love it but wouldn’t buy more to cellar probably because a year or so when I open it it’ll have mold also. Don’t need it contaminating my other baccy.
So if this blend is Carolina red flake… if it DID have perique wouldn’t that just make it Carolina red flake with perique? This is where I’m trying to dwindle down what batches I really need to buy. You could always add some of the beast to it? Anyway nice to see u feeling 100% 😊

Gotta Love your honesty in the reviews that you do!!! I got 5 tins not even realizing there was no perique in it. Have not smoked any yet. So looks like it will be cellaring for a while. Fortunately I have several tins of the original release simmering. However, it is unfortunate that we who jump to get these limited releases before they go have to deal with marketing tactics playing off the potential scarcity of certain blends. It's like being Rodney Dangerfield "No Respect"!!!!! 😭Peace.
Good luck not having white mold in it when you open them!

I grabbed 5 tins of last years anthology and am glad I bought none of this one. I wonder if adding 5%-10% strait Perique to this how it would do?
I’m sure it would be MILES better.
I was upset myself. I am a big perique guy myself. The Beasrt, my all time favorite. Carolina Red Flake with Perique, very very good. I dont know if I want to review this one or not.
I probably won’t touch this one again for at least 6 months or so.

You say it's slightly better than CRF, but say it's just ok.
So are you saying CRF is less than OK?
I understand that you wanted perique in it, and I prefer vaper's more as well, but just because it doesn't have it, shouldn't change the score on its own merits.
Now a preference score is totally different.
Don't take me too serious, because it's all in fun though.
By the way it's -5F here in Wyoming in the warmest part of day, and has been a lot colder, so I think you'll survive your temperature.
Thanks for your insight. I'd like to throw a pinch of perique in with this to try to recreate last year's Anthology, I didn't get any. If you were to hazard a guess, what percent perique should I add to try to approximate last year's blend? Thank you.
I’d say somewhere in the realm of 15% or so. Just enough to bring the funk.
